1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [289]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, in the present there are the irritations that arise from the disturbances through the pulmonaries as related to the activities of the liver and the kidneys, or the lower hepatic circulation.
3. All of this tends to make for a weakness owing to the inability of the proper assimilation of that taken for food evaluation.
4. For the irritation tends to turn same, in the activities of assimilation, to those influences that become as aggravating conditions; producing headaches, temperature, weakness through the digestive forces; a disturbed condition and an inactivity through the digestive forces, and overstimulations in the activity of the kidneys in the attempt to throw off the extra quantity of poisons that become a portion of the disturbing factors - owing to the general disturbance produced in the body.
5. The inclinations in the present, as we find, arose from a tiring - or overexercises for the body, and the tiring condition, the inhalation of gases that become as poisonous effects to the activity of the lungs or the pulmonaries as combined with their influences upon the system.
6. As we find, then, in the present:
7. Those precautions need to be taken, first, to have the eliminations and the activities of the whole of the hepatic circulation (liver and kidneys) cleansed or purified; and sufficient time taken for the body to recuperate or gain its strength before an exceeding quantity of activities of such a nature as to produce a general rise of temperature owing to same.
8. An eliminant of the vegetable nature, then, as we find,
289-8 Page 2
would be better; and as a corrective in the directions indicated. Such properties whose active principle would be Senna, as combined with Syrup of Figs. Or, a combination of Fletcher's Castoria and California Syrup of Figs - half and half. Preferably give this in broken doses, as we have indicated, so that it is absorbed by the system. It is better for such conditions that it be taken a teaspoonful every hour until there is a THOROUGH cleansing.
9. Then use an enema to cleanse the alimentary canal; that is, the colon, see? at the end of same.
10. Then at least rest another day before more activity or more active service.
11. And then we will find the conditions will respond much better.
12. But, to be sure, the increasing of the eliminations in this manner is only a portion of the things to be done for the disturbing conditions. However, this cleansing should be done FIRST, so that then the STRENGTHENING forces of better assimilation will enable the body to build resistance in the general activities.
13. Then, we would have precautions as to purifications for the lung supply; so that those areas where there have been those disturbances, in the lung area itself as well as throat, bronchi and larynx, may be cleared of the disturbance through the increased circulation through those portions of the body - by the activity of the eliminants to increase the flow of circulation and activity of the lymph through those portions of the system.
14. Hence, we would occasionally have the activity of Calcidin; one grain taken once or twice a day will be most beneficial. Not so much as to have the reaction from the iodine, save as secondary; but the combination of the calcium and the iodine upon the system will stimulate the circulatory forces as related to the general circulation.
15. Also the inhalations from Apple Brandy in a charred container will be most beneficial; in that the activity of the fumes upon the tissue of the throat AND the lungs will tend to produce a clarifying condition, preventing infectious forces - or the activity of infection becoming so active in the system. Inhale these fumes once a day, or in the evening before retiring. These properties should be INHALED, NOT taken!
16. Then the DIET: Keep those foods that are body-building.
17. These as we find, in a systematic way and manner, will give the better strength and resistance for this body.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) What may be expected from the tubercle germ in his blood?
289-8 Page 3
(A) Well, this depends upon the manner in which the general system is handled as in relation to same. As we have indicated, when there is in the blood supply such affection, the activities of the hepatic circulation become the danger point for ANY individual. Hence as given, there should be first those measures to cleanse the system as related to not only the alimentary canal but with properties activating upon the system with the inclination to PURIFY same, see? as we have indicated in those forms of laxatives to take. Hence there should be sufficient rest for the body during this period. Not that it is not to do anything, but keep in the open as much as possible; walk about, be activative in the mental forces - not as of curative but as protective forces. Then the influences to purify the blood supply (the calcium, with the iodine), also those for the lungs through the use of the inhalations indicated, will tend to so build resistance as to prevent this becoming an activative force in the blood stream.
20. (Q) Should he continue taking Ventriculin? (A) This is very well.
21. (Q) Describe the condition of the gland system. (A) As may be indicated from that given, the glandular forces as related to assimilation are the disturbing activity. Hence many portions of the gland system become irritated. But it is not primarily glandular disturbance here.
22. (Q) Why have so many people had such severe colds this winter, that have been hard to get rid of? (A) The astronomical conditions as related to those under certain signs.
23. (Q) Any other advice for this body at this time? (A) Those precautions, and being persistent and consistent, are necessary - if there will be the better conditions for this body in the present.
