Time of Reading 12:00 to 12:30 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of Mrs. [290], present in this room, who seeks advice, counsel and guidance as to her mental and material problems, in relation to herself and family, especially husband. You will give in detail just what should be her attitude and activity to bring about congeniality, peace and harmony in her home relations. You will answer the questions which she will ask regarding these.

2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, Mrs. [290], and those conditions that present themselves as problems for the body, regarding the material and mental relationships.

3. In giving advice or counsel to one confronted with problems such as exist with this body, it would be well that there be considered by self as to what is an ideal; and as to the conditions that make for the activities of others in relationships to self and those about the body; that each individual is an entity, a world in itself, yet each entity is dependent one upon another. Yet each in their own way and manner expressing in their lives that which has become the all-possessing idea or ideal to that individual.

4. As there have arisen those conditions wherein not only mental and physical conditions arise that make for the abnegation of the ideals, or policy and idea that was set in the relationships when there were those more coordinating influences in the lives of each that are concerned, it would be well then that the body first - in the present - make an analysis of the conditions as related to others, of self as in relation to others, and the ideals that must be the basis for the activities of every individual.

5. And then, in making such, realize that to make another error where error has been or is being made will not make for correction to that which would become helpful to any concerned.

6. Rather had self to be put in the position of being mistreated, or maltreated, considering the relationships,

obligations and duties that should bind all together toward one common purpose; and continue to be under the expressions that become even at times almost unbearable in the experience, yet knowing that to be the one to make moves for material changes would only bring greater consternation, greater trouble, greater worries on the part not only of self but of others who whom duties and obligations are due.

7. Consider this truth. He or she that follows in the way of condemning another makes for condemnation also in their own experience, magnifying conditions; rather than taking that which is as a thorn in the body, as a scar upon the better mental and moral aptitudes of the body-consciousness.

8. Know that only in Him, who may bring peace and harmony by or through the contacts - the thoughts of self as in relationship to the whole, may there be brought about those better relationships.

9. To continue to condemn only brings condemnation, then, for self. This does not mean that self's activity should be passive, but rather being constant in prayer - knowing and taking, knowing and understanding that he that is faithful is not given a burden beyond that he is able to bear, if he will put the burden upon Him that has given the promise, "I will be WITH thee; there shall not come that which shall harm thee, if thou will but put thy trust, thy faith, in me."

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What should cause my husband to take a different attitude toward life, as a whole? (A) There must be a re-awakening to the necessity of the regenerating influence within self. To reach the first approach, do not condemn. Do not pamper, nor agree; but rather in that HUMBLENESS of spirit SHOW, in the love, the condemnations are not as condemning but as working with, working toward the renewing of the spirit within that makes for cooperative influences in the life of those that have obligations one for another. Or, it comes to this: He that gives the kind word, even when coals of fire are heaped upon the soul, shall be recompensed in saving not only self and the growth of self's own soul, but many another.

12. (Q) Is there any way I can reach him, in order to bring about a change? (A) As we find, in the manners that have just been given.

290-1 Page 3

Faint not; and know he is able to bear thee up, lest THOU - in thine distress - bring even a greater sorrow in thine experience.

13. (Q) How is his mental condition? Is he really responsible? (A) There are both physical and mental conditions that disturb the body, but as there may be given out by self that of less and less condemnation - not condoning, not apologetically, but rather in the spirit of truth, of love - there may be the better, the greater awakening.

14. (Q) Would it be better for my daughter [L...] to remain to look after the home, as she is doing, or leave? (A) Better, if there will be made the more perfect understanding with the daughter, with the self, that she remain; and that self will make all possible efforts in the directions that have been outlined.

15. (Q) Is there any advice as to changes in living conditions at home? (A) As we find, with this attitude, with a perfect or better understanding with the daughter, these may be brought to mean, to be, to magnify, a greater change that will bring about much nearer the former conditions in the experiences of all.

16. (Q) Is there any advice as to my physical condition, that would enable me to better carry on? (A) The general physical conditions in many ways are very satisfactory. If there will be better attentions paid to the eliminations, as related to the coordinating of same in the system, there will be brought about a more amicable condition in the system as related to the mental outlook, the physical attitudes towards the mental activities of the body. These, as we find, would be then well to be considered, that at least once or twice a month there be taken that known as a thorough Swedish massage, or a Turkish Bath and the massage that goes with same. This will not only make for a better coordination of the circulation throughout the system, and the tendencies for the eliminations as related to replenishings be better, but the whole activities of the system will be much improved.

17. (Q) Is the family in any immediate danger of a tragedy from his hands? (A) That depends, to be sure, upon the activities of others, and the attitude that is held by others. Fear, with a mental aberration, always creates activity in the mind of those feared; but LOVE, and aptitude towards right thinking, right acting, brings harmony or quiet - and

has its effect upon the general activities of a body.

18. (Q) Could any help be gained through these sources for my son [W...]? (A) These may be gained. We haven't the son at present. These may be gained.

19. (Q) Will my [insurance] business continue to be a success? (A) As known or viewed from the very activities of self, if there are to be continued the torments within self, the indecisions within self, the expectancy that disorders or disruptions will arise, these create those very influences in the contacts, in the groups, in the relations that are necessary in the activities. But, if there is shown faith, hope, understanding, cooperation in the activities, it will continue not only to be as the present - but an increased success; for there is the spirit of valuation and protection, for those very ideals that self would build within self.

20. (Q) Is there any advice to me in regard to my BUSINESS? (A) This is very good advice we are giving, as respecting how the attitude shall be! If it is felt, if it is created first within self, then it may be given out. Should fear become the basis of the condition, then there is created fear in the minds and in the experiences of many whom the body contacts in the business associations. The very NATURE of the association creates such!

21. (Q) Would it be advisable to attempt to buy the place in which I am now living? (A) In April or May, when conditions are better, it would be well; and the whole associations may be made more in a balanced way and manner through that which may bring about within self the real desire for same. Keep, then, as has been given. First make an analysis of self, of self's relationships, of the impelling influences that cause others to act in their manners in the present. Do not condemn self, do not condemn another; but leave the activities that would bring about condemnation rather in His hands, who requireth at the hands of all that there be meted, "As ye would that should be done to thee, do ye even so to thy fellow man!"
