Time of Reading 12:00 Noon Dayton Time. ..., Ohio. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before you see. The physical conditions of the body at the present time are different from that as we have had here before. Most are at a lower ebb at the present time than when we have had these before.

2. Now, these are the conditions as we find them at the present time in this body, Edgar Cayce, we are speaking of. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, at the present time we find this abnormal in pressure, due to the taxing of the system through the conditions in the lungs and in the liver, and by poisons in the system. Hence we find all vasomotor centers dilated, and the nerves and plexuses from this region dilated and giving the plethora condition of veins that empty blood from the organs so affected.

4. In the elements and constituents of the stream itself, we find deficiency in the leukocyte cell and in white blood supply. Over supply of the red blood forces and too much acids in the hemoglobin of the blood; hence coagulation takes place too quick in portions of system and produces congestion of a sympathetic nature, with congestion of tissue lying in same region, or in the reflex centers of the disturbed area of congestion.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find from the conditions in tissue and muscular forces, and in the blood supply, as it were, lacks in the ability to produce the reaction in the system. This, especially, in all ends of cerebrospinal system, coming especially from the upper cervical plexus to the cavities of the face, from the 3rd dorsal plexus to the upper portions of lungs, from the solar plexus, in all portions of the digestive system. Hence the inability of system to respond in its normal forces to the reaction received in mental forces to the system through suggestion as is reached the centers by the sympathetic and sensory organism. In the sympathetic then we find taut centers in the region of those ganglions as affected from the cerebrospinal system. Hence the exaggerated condition

created in portions of system at times.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in the sensory system, the taxation by the blood, lack of vitality to resist the conditions produced by congestion in tissue and in the blood stream proper, gives overflow in all cavities, as seen in nostril and in the frontal poriton of antrums about the head.

7. In throat, the congestion produces contraction, from inflammation produced on epiglottis by the action of air as gulped rather than taken through normal channels. With lungs congested in upper portions prevents clarification proper of blood, and as lack of oxygen reaches the system the lower portions then showing the condition of congested forces, through lack of the deep inhalations for lungs proper, causing the heart's action, through the flow of blood in plethoric order, to become abnormal and at times bringing temperature to the trunk portion of body.

8. Spleen engorged. Pancreas showing contraction through too much acids in system. The liver dormant, from lack of excretory system functioning normal, producing then a large or plethoric condition in liver, inducing the air in the intestinal system in the form of gases, as produced with acid in upper digestive system. Intestinal tract at present shows the induced secretions through mesenteric system to the intestines proper, yet not bringing the assimilation and eliminations in the system in a normal condition. Congestions in the colon producing distresses throughout lower portion of trunk portion of body. The kidneys do not excrete sufficient to throw off eliminations, for the system, not carrying sufficient coagulation proper, eliminates some conditions through these channels, bringing irritation to the false pelvis organs. Hence inflammation eliminated through urethra. [Prostatitis?]

9. In bringing, then, the normal conditions to the body, these must then be awakened through the channel that will bring more of the properties necessary for eliminations, clarifying congestion in head, lungs and liver, and lowering the pressure in blood supply and heart's action, that the system may regain that ability to function through the suggestion to the sympathetic to over-ride conditions in the body.

10. Reach those through open air, light diet, sweats, and lack of exercise that would tax the mental or the physical forces of the body, and we will find in two to three days the body will be normal.

11. (Q) What will relieve the cough at present? (A) There are many conditions, as given, that need relief,

294-16 Page 3

and the cough will disappear of itself, for cough is the system attempting to remove congestion and irritation to nasal forces and upper portion of lungs.

12. (Q) Would it be best for this body not to give psychic readings for a few days? (A) For three days. This we find is taxation under the present condition of physical forces in the body, bringing detrimental reaction in blood supply, in heart's action, spleen's functioning, in brain's reorganization through sensory system.

13. (Q) Should the body continue to take the Lung Ease it is now taking? (A) Very good, if it's sweated out.

14. (Q) How should these sweats be given the body? (A) Hot baths, or Turkish Baths. Hot baths good, if it's given [breathing?] in the open air afterward, so that there is sufficient oxygen for the system.

15. (Q) Should the body continue to take the osteopathic treatments? (A) Every other day, for at least three treatments.

16. (Q) What physical exercise does the body do that taxes it at present? (A) None, but it mustn't take any, until this condition is removed.

17. We are through for the present.
