Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. Dayton Time. ..., Ohio. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Now we find there are abnormal physical conditions with the body, and there are some conditions as we have had before. Some of these are at the exaggerated state, or have become specific and give distresses to the body at times. These as we have wherein the toxins are left in system by poor eliminations and by the tissue in specific portions of the body absorbing that dross, through the poor circulation and elimination. These bring distress [of neuritic pains?] as we have in those weakened portions of the body, where specific distress is brought at such times.

2. The body then, physically, should keep little in the system to produce this over amount or excess of dross in body. Rather take more care with the diet, that there may not be these excesses.

3. And when such do occur, through the conditions exercised in the lymph-producing glands in body, manifesting and showing the arising of such conditions, there should be taken those properties or salines that excite, or that give the necessary incentive for the induction of, correct eliminations in system.

4. Use care, discretion, in diet and exercise, and by exercising the mental over the physical forces - as may be done through suggestion to the body, when such conditions arise.

5. At the present we find it necessary that such salines be taken that the system may be cleansed, and that eliminations and assimilations may more perfectly coordinate in physical forces of the body. Such may be found in Epsom Salts with soda, or Bi-So-Dol, or with the character found in this combination: Podophyllin.................1 grain, Leptandrin................1/2 grain, Sanguinaria...............1/2 grain, Cascara Sagrada...........1/2 grain. The preference, however, would be given to the salines and soda.

6. (Q) What quantities of Epsom Salts and Soda should be taken, and how often? (A) Only need taking two doses. Early of morning take large heaping teaspoonful in glass of water, with half a teaspoonful Soda (or Bi-So-Dol).

7. (Q) What causes the intense misery in the left side which the body has suffered in the last day or two? [Stricture?] (A) Where the walls of the perineum have been thinned and strained, by conditions existent in the past [See 294-2 on 12/1/10 in re accident in childhood causing clot in testicle, and necessity for intestinal surgery. In 1920-1922 he had appendectomy, which revealed intestines were twisted, etc.], and where there are those conditions brought in the nerve system, in the lymphatic circulation, in the action of poor circulation and drosses left, we produce impacts and pressure in the intestine itself. This pressure against the opening left, produces the intense pain.

8. (Q) Is this what is commonly called a rupture? (A) No.

9. (Q) Is an operation necessary to relieve this condition? (A) Not at present, no.

10. (Q) What will relieve this intense pain when it comes on? (A) Relieving of the conditions in the eliminations in system, as we have outlined, for the specific condition as exists. Heat or cold, that would cause the contraction of each portion. Better through heat applied, with saturated solutions of Bicarbonate of Soda, with heavy salt. Wet heat, however.

11. (Q) What is the correct diet for this body? What should it be? (A) Those things that agree and that produce the perfect assimilation in body, and should not be over quantity of any. Green foods, sea foods, and of such nature. Vegetables.

12. (Q) What kind of exercise? (A) Any, so we do not strain any portions of the body. These should be specific and followed consistently and persistently.

13. (Q) Should the body have any osteopathic treatments? (A) Not necessary at the present time.

14. (Q) Are there any further suggestions for the good of this physical body? (A) Keep nearer the spiritual forces, and apply the mental to the action of the physical.

15. We are through for the present.
