1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of EC, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from same, as I read same to you. [The dream not read, as he interpreted it without waiting for it to be read. Tuesday morning, 10/20/25, at home, "[900] and I met at the Sinton Hotel in Cincinnati to discuss the reading we had on L & N. I told him that this seemed to me should be the best proof that we had ever had, for in the dream I had seen him saying it was all wrong about L & N going to 109, for in fact it was going up instead of down and [900] said to me, "my Gosh, Man, why didn't you tell me that at first?" I told him there was nothing said of this, in the interpretation of dream. He said, "Well, its done that anyhow. The thing is now, what are we going to do?" I said, "Well, let's forget it for a little bit, for there's a studio down here I want to go and see. I think I'm going to make pictures again, or at least I want some place where I can piddle around with them." "Who's going to run the Institute?" he asked. "Well, you and Gertrude and Miss Gladys can do that. Of course when you want any readings I'll give them, but you're not going to do anything except diagnosis, understand that!" Well, the diagnosis of a man's mind is often times more important than the diagnosis of a man's physical ills," [900] replied, "for when his mind is set at ease, if he is in the correct path, and that means the correct thing, putting him in the correct path, the physical naturally responds. Of course L & N is only going to 25 and then we will see the reaction but a gradual falling off all the way down, with the up and down, up and down, up and down, all the way along. Then you will see there will be plenty of money to do

whatever you want to do, and if you want the studio in the Institute, why we'll just put in a chair of photography, or what do you call it? Who do you suppose is the best teacher for that?" I don't know," I answered, "but I think Johnson Bransford or Whiteford R. Cole are the best ones I know." "Who are they?" [900] asked. "Well, Cole is president of the N. C. & St. L. R. R., a subsidiary of the L & N., and of course that would make him more interested, and Bransford is almost an authority on psychic research, so psychic research and the railroad running together, I'm sure he'd love to study the photography of psychic research." Then [900] said, "Why Cayce, you're crazy! Nobody wants to mix up that sort of thing with it! But where do these people live?" "Both of them live in Nashville, Tenn.," I replied. Then [900] said, "Why that's on the L & N, isn't it?" I told him "Yes," and then we were in Nashville, Tenn., [900] and I. Went down to Bransford's office and found Cole sitting there talking to him. With the introduction, Bransford said to [900], "You're the fellow that's been working with Cayce for a while, aren't you? What do you think of it?" [900]'s reply was evasive, by asking Bransford, "Well, I understand that you and Cole have seen something of the work. What do you think of it?" Cole's reply was, "I'd like to get mixed up with this bunch, and as soon as I can get through selling this L & N at 137, why I'd be ready." [900] said, "But L & N is going down instead of up." Cole's reply: "That's where you're wrong." and Bransford turned to a ticker and L & N was selling at 122 1/2, and the next report showed 119, the next 115. [900] said, spreading his arms, "There you are! I told you it was going!" when Bransford remarked, "But what's that got to do with Cayce and the picture business?" Then we all left Nashville, going to Atlanta, and from Atlanta to Roanoke, Va. At Roanoke we met Dr. E. B. Cayce, who lives in Nashville. He was there with his son, whom he had at Johns-Hopkins, Bransford having wired him without our knowing it that we were coming that way. Dr. Cayce immediately insisted that I give a reading for his son. [900] asked him, "Well, who'll write it down?" Cole said he would write it, at least he could write it in telegraphic symbols. As he started to write, his pencil began to give quotations on L & N., and he remarked to [900], "The bottom has certainly fallen out of L & N, and I believe you're right about it going to 109. If it doesn't

go a whole lot lower, it'll be surprising to me," when Dr. Cayce said, "Why this is not a Stock Exchange! I want to know about my boy!" Cole's reply was, "Man you're losing a fortune, for you know your money is with mine and Bransford's, and we're long on L & N at 124 7/8, and it's selling now at 114. What I want is Cayce to give us a reading and tell us what it's going to do. Can't he do that?" Dr. Cayce replied, "Not while he's giving one on my boy, for I don't want my son to be a stockbroker." So they had to send, then, for GC and GD, whom [900] went out and brought in to take the reading. [900] insisted, though, on his conducting the reading. I could see the whole body of the boy but on each bone in the body I could see different numbers - 119, 116, 120 - 121 - 114 and 111. As I begun to call these numbers out, Cole said to Bransford: "By Gosh! He's certainly mixing a physical diagnosis with a stock reading, for that's what L & N is doing right now." Dr. Cayce replied, "Well, I know what's the matter with my boy, he's got a pin stuck in the hip joint. That's what that shadow meant in the X-ray. I'll get that out, then we'll all go down to the studio and make a picture of us all together, for I certainly want to keep this." And that's where I woke up!]
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the mind, the enquiring mind, this body here. We have had this before.
3. The dreams as come to the body, we find, are the correlation of physical conditions existent in the physical world, with those views of cosmic forces that are being made in the physical world and become correlated with time as known from the physical condition. Also those relations to the cosmic and Universal Forces as are being studied in the mental world.
4. In the dream here, we find the bodies of [900] with EC in that mental arrangement of words and places, correlated with those conditions as relate to the physical conditions now existent, in which each in the mental and financial manner, are so interested and upon which rests much of the mental development (body-mind) to each of the entities.
5. The place, the conversation then, relates to that condition in which each are interested. The talk concerning same, the prices as shown in relation to the stock, shows that correlating of all conditions that have been given to each of these bodies, mentally and psychically, and in the mental manner as pertaining to same, see? and the bringing in of other individuals who are supposedly in the material way criterions, or that position to know the conditions existent in a physical world pertaining to such stocks,
294-42 Page 4
bonds, and their relation to the prices on same, is seen that condition bringing about that.
6. At the present, there is being brought, then much to bear in the heavyweights (as it would be termed from Wall Street parlance), to bear on that particular stock, see? and this has brought the price high, yet the conditions as have been given, as have been seen, will come, for the reaction will soon set in, though as is seen from information handed out by the individual who should know the relations of such conditions, that he, individually, with associates, buying for the higher price, and as has been given, it will go to an exceedingly high price; then the breaks will come, see, as have been given, and as seen in the numbers, and the numbers showing their correlation with the condition existent, with the names of each individual.
7. As is seen in change from one city to another, both as central points of that commodity as is being (body-mind) studied thoroughly by the two entities, this shows how the physical relations bear upon the cosmic forces and bring into that relation those who should be in the position to give that information from an outside viewpoint related to same. Their information as is given, their action regarding same as given, shows the great variations that are occurring, and as is seen from the first discussion, this will cause some worry, some trouble; yet all these conditions, as have been given, will come to pass.
8. As is seen again in the trip from the city to others, to meet a physician, as related to then the physical conditions, see? these bring about, through emblematical forms, the various conditions as exist in the mental mind of each individual.
9. As is seen, the constant referring to photography, pictures, this rather the picturalization to each individual the conditions as existent in the minds, mentally, in the inmost forces, subconscious or cosmic, the conditions being manifested through each, as is seen and exemplified or manifested in the material world, see?
10. The numbers then again, as is seen on the bones in the body, shows that close relation of each and every force as is given in the whole Oneness of the Being to those conditions as pertain one to each other. For, as has been given, through this source there may be made that which financially would supply the means for building the Institution, wherein the greater truths might be given to those who would seek to know of Him that manifests before men, if they will but put themselves in that attitude that they become a listener for that still small voice that
294-42 Page 5
speaks from within. For as has been given by Him of all knowledge, "Even the hairs of your head are numbered unto Him who caused same to grow," see? All conditions, then, as pertain to all these relations between each, and through these forces much may be gained for the good of all. Well that as soon as is possible through practical physical conditions, that a coalition be made of interests between [900], Whiteford R. Cole and Johnson Bransford, see? For their interests may be made much financially, mentally and spiritually.
11. As to those relations as come by that being brought from other's inability to write numbers, and calling on those through whom such is known to come, this brings that of the Oneness of purpose, for on him whom there is known to be truth and reliance placed, hold thereto. Change not to the new from the old, until tried and true.
12. Then as the lessons as may be gained by the mind of Edgar Cayce, as this: Follow in that way in which there is the more perfect understanding, giving all truth, and withholding nothing from those who seek to know His Way. For in the physical relations, whether of stocks, of bonds, of lands, of silver, of gold, of physical forces, of those conditions as relate to the mental mind, the bone structure of body, the mental condition apparent, all are of the ONE PURPOSE OF GOD to manifest before men, if they will but make their will One with HIS.
