1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.
2. Now, we find the physical conditions some what different from those as we have had here before, though that as produces the abnormal forces or functioning of organs is something of the same nature - though produced from different causes. An over acidity of the system is that as produces the distress - pains in head and through the upper intestinal system - this throwing the gases and poisons back in the system of the duodenum rather than distributing same through the system, as has caused those conditions in extremities in times back, see? The acidity was produced by taking too much sugar in the system in candies, and in those properties as were taken before the stomach was filled with foods; and then overloading the system at such times brings this condition.
3. Relief from this at present would be less eating, and the taking of those properties in the Petrolagar - alkaline state or condition, or form, see? taking small quantities of the Pepsin [Elixir of Lactated Pepsin], as was given, after meals, and keeping the whole intestines cleansed in the way and manner as has been given. This will soon relieve the present condition. Do that. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Have the headaches had in the last few days been caused from this acidity in the system? (A) As given, the acidity in the system, and the stress as same puts on the nervous system, through the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, see? creating the pressure as is seen at the base of the brain. Osteopathic adjustments at such times would be the better for the specific relief at that time, see? though the condition or cause, or seat of trouble would be reached through that as has been outlined.
5. (Q) What properties were referred to as being taken in system before food was taken? (A) Candies - and smoking.

6. (Q) Does the body drink too much coffee? (A) At times, but - as is seen - as has been given - the system adjusts itself better to these conditions than it has in the past, through the keeping cleansed of the lower portion of the system - for, as is seen in digesting of coffee, coffee is as of those properties as stimulants to the nerve system. The dross from same is caffeine, as is not digestible in the system, and must necessarily then be eliminated. When such are allowed to remain in the colon there is thrown off from same poisons. Eliminated as it is in this system, coffee is a food value, and is preferable to many stimulants that might be taken, see?
7. (Q) Why has the body not been able to sleep lately at night? (A) This is produced by the nerve strain, see?
8. (Q) What will relieve this nerve strain? (A) Relieve the pressure, as is produced in the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus by acidity of the upper portion of system when it should be in a lactic or alkaline condition, from the lower intestines down, and from the mouth to the stomach, see? Reduce the amount of acid and we will reduce the nerve strain on the hypogastric plexus, which produces a strain on the functioning of the liver, of the spleen, of the pancreas, and of the kidneys, see? Strain on these portions of the system, tenseness as is caused, produces that taxation as prevents the normal relaxation of body.
9. That is all the questions.
10. We are through with this reading.
