4. (Q) Night of Friday, 1/7, or morning of Saturday 1/8/27. I had a check for $200 and I went into [900]'s office to get him to invest it for me in some special stock, but [900] and [137] were both out. I looked in my hand and saw that I now had two checks, one for $200 and another for $300. Someone told me [900] would be back in a minute - that [137] had gone after him. The person motioned me towards a great book, saying that I could look through it and see the last year's business they had done. I turned over a sheet, and noticed where some interest had been blotted out. I turned over another sheet, and it seemed to me there was something wrong, but I didn't know what. After waiting a long time, I left. I began to feel that I didn't have that much money in the bank anyway, and I owed the $200 check for my board. I went to the boarding house and showed the checks to the landlady and told her they were for my board, but I didn't give them to her. I sat down to the table to eat, with the checks still in my hand. I noticed one of them was signed by [5541]. [195] came in and as he passed by he took the checks out of my hand and said: "These are for me." I agreed, and wondered why I hadn't given them to him before. He went over and sat down at another table. (A) In this we find there are many of the various phases of the conditions respecting the physical action of the body, that have been viewed through these mental ways and manners. And here is illustrated, in this emblematical way and manner, conditions respecting same.

In that, there has been expected that monies should and

would be turned to the use of the entity or body through the efforts of one to whom the entity itself carried money. Yet, as seen, the conditions existent in the business cause this delay, this troubled condition. For, as seen, entries are as errors and many pages stuck, or in a conglomerate mass. Hence this delay.

In the reasoning that this should be preserved for other use, is seen the change in the attitude of the entity, physically, as respecting the conditions. And the boarding house - eating - representing, then, conditions as relating to the physical again in the life of the entity; and that these will have their portion in the changes which come about respecting the change in conditions for the betterment of all concerned.

In seeing that check made to individual, then, relates to other physical conditions as respecting one through whom - and the one taking check being the one who would interest others to bring to the entity good, in the way of contributions to the place for the work to be carried on. See? All plain - all distinct.

The lessons, then, apply in the first. Be not over anxious, for the conditions which present themselves are as that given. In the other, as soon as opportunity presents self, have those conditions set in motion that bring about those contributions amounting to much. See? [Work:E.C.:Cayce Hospital? Prophecy?]
