Time of Reading 9:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Ck. Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - we have had this before, you see.

2. Now, we find there are some changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Some are for the betterment - some have not changed much in the physical effect as is produced by existent condition, namely, that as causes the distress at times through the mesenteric system.

3. Well were those lesions broken up, as has been given, through the manipulation and through the application of the heat vibration to relax the body sufficient so that - with the correction and the incentive for the nerve supply, as they change through such corrections - the body may build near to normal conditions; else - as has been given - the continuation may eventually produce such condition as to cause either the whole impact, or the twisting of the small intestine itself in such a way and manner as to make necessary an operation for the removal of condition. Hence would be well that those suggestions as have been given be carried out for the correction of these physical forces in the body. Do that. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) What causes the itching of the scalp? (A) Changing in the circulation; for, with those purgatives as have been taken in system, the whole circulation is changed, and - as is seen - that difference as is carried in the system through these conditions is a change of the eliminations through the body. When these have been changed, as has been seen, through the alimentary canal, and the system attempts to adjust itself again to that of the full capillary circulation and the eliminations as go through these channels, then there is produced that of the itching, because of the retarding of elimination through capillary circulation, through an excess of elimination through alimentary canal - liver and kidneys, and the normal eliminations through the intestinal system, see? Hence

this, as is seen, the WHY of the adding of electrical forces or heat to the body, to produce a coordination in all the eliminating forces of the body. Only an effect, then - not a condition, other than the effect of hindered circulation attempting to adjust itself under more normal conditions in the body, which exist at the present - though the lesions still exist.

5. (Q) About how many treatments would be necessary to relieve this condition? (A) Thirty-six to fifty (36 to 50).

6. (Q) Would Dr. Richardson or Dr. Bright of Norfolk be the better to do this - which one? [Martyn L. Richardson, D.O.; Samvil H. Bright, D.O.] (A) Either of these, or any that will understand better the condition. One that would follow the more nearly those conditions as have been given - though neither of these have those appliances in the manner as has been given, of water or of the heat [sweat cabinet - with light bulbs for heat] to relieve the capillary circulation. Rather that as has been outlined to be built for the body.

7. (Q) Where can the body receive this part of the treatment? (A) Build it himself! [GD's note: He did later build one; also one later for Cayce Hospital.]

8. That is all the questions.

9. We are through with this reading.
