Time of Reading 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Edgar Cayce - this we have had before. In the physical forces of the body we find there are disorders, brought on primarily by overtaxation in the physical so relaxing the muscular forces and tendons in extremities as to allow poisons, toxic forces from the system, to AFFECT the body in such a manner as to bring distresses and distraughtness to the physical functioning of such portions of the system. There is also seen that there has been indiscretion in the eating, so that with the activities these produce - through improper digestion taking place - those fermentations that bring about, or cause, the disorders. Worry, taxation, distraughtness, then, the causes of the existent conditions.
2. In meeting them at the present, we would find that there may be added those forces from without in this nature that give a cleansing for the system. First we would have as this:
3. At least once each day, for five to six days, take three to ten drops of Glyco-Thymoline as an intestinal antiseptic.
4. We would, at least twice each day, take half a teaspoonful of olive oil.
5. We would each evening before retiring take either - or alternate in this manner - a dessertspoonful Milk of Magnesia or Milk of Bismuth, or those of Citrocarbonates - Upjohn's, preferably - the granulated, effervescent form. These altered in the eliminants, those for the intestinal disorder, those for the lubrications of the system, with discretion in the eating, should bring about normal forces.
6. Well that manipulations and vibrations be given occasionally, or a THOROUGH massage along the cerebrospinal system.
7. Do that.
8. In the diet, keep rather to those things that are of easy digestion. Little or no fats of any nature. Those preferably of the milk and its products as diet, with eggs,

tea or coffee, or the like. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Should so much Epsom Salts be taken as has been by the body? (A) Take these others we have given in preference; when necessary, these are necessary for producing eliminations in the system. The others, as we find, under PRESENT conditions, would be the more satisfactory.
10. (Q) In the diet, would sweetbreads be harmful? (A) Too rich! The high content of protein and fats, under ordinary circumstances, very good. In the present, the tenderness - and the tendency for gas formations - too easy in the present - see?
11. (Q) Is milk toast alright? (A) Milk toast very good.
12. (Q) Any local application for the condition in the leg to relieve pain? (A) Massage, with heat - or applications that relax same, when necessary.
13. (Q) What may be done to overcome the worry? (A) Quit worrying!
14. (Q) Is it harmful for the body to give readings for the next few days, or until it is better? (A) As has been given, it is a strain and stress when under any DRUG - especially - or when under strain that causes reactions; for, as may be seen, when there is the effect in the system of any drug - or of any outside compound - the reaction under such conditions is multiplied tenfold, but is usually the opposite from that expected, or experienced. Hence the NAUSEA. Hence the congestion, or the high rate of pulsation and weakness that ensues.
15. (Q) Is there any suggestion that may be given the body at completion of reading, that will assist or benefit the body? (A) These have been given. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Cayce file
