Time of Reading 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Dream Suggestion and first dream - Par. 1-Q.)
1. (Q) During reading 2121-2, 2/12/32, I thought I was with Mr. and Mrs. Lot and their two daughters running out of Sodom when it was raining fire and brimstone. What had been called, "she turned to a pillar of salt", [Gen.19:26] because she looked back, was that they really passed through the heat - as came from the fire from heaven, and all were tried as by that. I got through the fire. (A) Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, Edgar Cayce - this we have had before. The dreams, as we see, are of natures as have been described. In this particular vision, this is rather as an experience through which the body passed with those at the period; for the body then, the entity, was one that accompanied these bodies in this experience, and in the present must and will pass through - in the mental attitudes that are being assumed as respecting the body and activities - much as those bodies in that experience. As to whether the body is to remain in that of the escape, as then, or is warned as respecting the outcome of the individuals seen, depends upon the attitude and activities in the physical of the body through these trials; for they will be as of by fire. [I Cor. 3:15]
2. (Q) Did the body actually live at that period as a physical entity? (A) As given, one of those sent as the warning, or warner to the people, as to what was coming to pass. [Gen. 19:1, 15, 16] [See 294-8, & 294-19.]
3. (Q) What should body do at present time? (A) Take the lesson that is learned from the experiences of those that passed through this physical experience. Take the life of each as the lessons, see? [4/2/32 See expansion of above in 294-137.]
4. (Q) Sat. morning, Feb. 13, 1932 - About an old horse

that died twenty years ago. It was climbing up a hill. We turned it loose so it could pull itself up, and we walked behind in the tracks the horse made. I said it was a good thing the horse had just been shod, so that the feet would make tracks for us to step or climb up by. (A) As seen, an emblematical condition of that as had been visioned by the body. This a dream, or through Thummim, as has been termed, and as the message had, and as respecting the warnings. Then follow rather in the footsteps of the Messenger, or the Prince of Peace, that met each circumstance, or took those steps by steps as were necessary for the advancement to that position that all came to be in the active forces of the body. So, as with this body, step by step, meet those conditions as arise, either in the physical, the mental or the spiritual plane, in their order. "Sufficient", as He gave, "unto the day is the evil thereof." Meet each in the manner as the Messenger visioned, sure of step - but constantly mounting to that position of view wherein it may be said all things are subject unto that attainment of the mental and physical and spiritual body of the one so visioning same.
5. (Q) Mildred [Davis] came to breakfast, fussing because everyone was bothering her, and said she was going to fight them. I reached over to fight with her. As I touched her I realized she had on a new coat suit, reddish brown checked, and real shiny. I wondered if the place where I touched her would make a spot, or show. (A) This, again, a dream of that which brings for the entity those emblematical conditions as respecting the lives, or the activities, of individuals associated in the activities of the material, or the mental, or the spiritual forces in the lives of each. As indicated, there were those entanglements of the mental nature as respecting the attitude of individuals, and the attempt of self to quiet same by the touch must bring the understanding, that the very nature - or the thoughts and the activities of the one, must be altered or changed, as indicated in the character, color, type, shade, of that which clothes the body. In the indications, then, as seen, that there REMAINED WITH the body in its activity as to whether this affected directly, or would make indications to the minds or the visions of others as to the change as would become apparent by the meeting, or contacting, of the ideas of individuals as respecting the condition or association. Then, as the lesson that may be gained: That in the activities of each, let these be in order with that as is seen, understood, gained, that there may be the more of peace, harmony,

understanding, and the relationships of all in that conformity to the interests of each, as indicated by the variations as were indicated by that expressed by those seen - See?
6. (Q) Sun. morning, Feb. 14, 1932 - I was being initiated into something. There was a crowd of people around me, and they were GREEN - like frogs standing up. (A) This rather that of the vision, or the initiation of the body into those relationships of the spiritual, or the forces as innate in the activities of the sources of information; so that, as the lesson as is seen: That there be that care, that injunction, ever, that that as may be obtained may be of that nature as is conformative to the use of individuals in their respective spheres, rather than that as given to those of the lacking of understanding that would make dross, as seen by that visioned in the experience.
7. (Q) Thurs. morning, Feb. 18, 1932 - I visioned God, and He promised that He wouldn't turn His face away. (A) A vision, not a dream - and the promise is, as of old - while the body itself going through that period of transition, in the material sense - this, as was given, "If ye will be my people, I will be your God."
8. (Q) Sun. afternoon 2/21/32, while giving group reading 262-12 - I saw Jesus giving the message, and His face changed in appearance as He gave it to each one. (A) A vision of the source from which the information as received came to each individual, even as that sought was of - or conforming with - or of self's interest, rather than of universal use - acted upon the countenances of the Messenger, so does that as received act upon the individuals as received same. If there is the comparison of that received by each at that period, with the life and the inner activities of each, these will be found to be conforming or non-conformative to those tenets, those lessons, as given by Him.
9. (Q) Feb. 22, 1932. About blowing away Pelley and his machinery, when he accused me of practicing black magic. [William Dudley Pelley] (A) This, as seen, is only a portion of that visioned. While there are those activities in a material world of those forces as emanate from spiritual sources, there may oft be seen contentions as to who occupies the greater place in the scheme of the developing of such forces in a material world. As visioned in this, these - then - are as of that one that would adhere the nearer to those promises as made by Him that gave, "I am with you always, even unto the END of the world! IF ye love me, KEEP my commandments, and I

will abide WITH thee! Be not afraid, for I will not LEAVE thee comfortless," and this - though it may pass through all forms of contention and distress from the physical or material view - remains in the hearts and minds, and LIVES of individuals, and must make those alterations, even as seen. Be SURE that thou followest is of HIS understanding, HIS direction. DEPEND upon HIS presence, HIS activities; remembering, when asked to rebuke those who gathered not with Him, He railed not, but "He that gatherest not with us may still be OF us, yet not of this present fold. Not that which goeth in defileth; rather that which cometh out!"
10. (Q) Morning of March 8, 1932, while giving reading [2095-1]: Saw this house all fixed up, and our home on the corner next to it. Hugh Lynn and Mildred had a printing press back in their office, and the whole building was enlarged and everything running like clockwork. (A) The breaking up!
11. (Q) Please explain, as we do not understand, what is meant by breaking up. (A) As is visioned, there were those enlargements upon the surroundings, which indicates that the breaking up must come that enlargements must ensue, even as that He passed through DEATH that He might BE the Savior and Lord of all!
12. (Q) Does that refer to the present necessity of moving again? (A) Refers to present conditions.
13. (Q) Please advise us regarding this. (A) As given, step by step, make the moves that are necessary, and in faith believing that "All things work together for good to those that LOVE His coming." More too often is it interpreted "love the Lord". But His COMING, for His promise was that "I will NOT leave thee comfortless, but will COME to thee." 14. (Q) Last part of March, 1932 - Saw a little mound of dead leaves. As I looked it began to move off. I thought there must be a snake under it. I picked up a stick and went towards it. By that time the mound was on the side of an embankment, almost on the edge, and the snake poked his head out and said, "Don't hit me - and I won't bother you any more." (A) As is visioned in the dream, the position of the body and the acts at the time indicated the clearing of the system of those things that are vile, or as ejections of drosses from body, so that as visioned at or through those periods, that seemed to indicate through the activities of others - that are indicated by the mound, or prominence as in front of body - WITH this arising will come OUT of same

that as indicated by the serpent, which indicates the wisdom of ALL things being known to others as pertain to their proper relationships and understandings, and while temptations arise - as through the serpent - with the use of the rod, or staff, as is of life, as is represented by those that are, or were, the leaders in each dispensation, of activity, may be used in love and truth, budding to like itself, as in the hands of many. So may it make for the overcoming of that which would hinder, or injure in any way, and bring about that peace as sought by the tempter in the vision.
15. (Q) Thurs. morning, March 10, 1932 - We were wading in water, Miss Gladys, Mildred and I. I stepped in a place over my head, and I yelled for Miss Gladys and Mildred. Miss Gladys ran for help and Mildred came after me. I got hold of her feet but couldn't get up to save my life. Mildred said, "Can't you climb up?" I said, "No!" She said, "Well, pull me down." I woke up. (A) This as the vision of those forces as may manifest in individuals. As indicated, water - as that which is as a source of life and understanding. In the activities in same, let each action be in the way and the manner as brings for the proper understanding without wading into depths that may bring those things that would be hard to overcome, without calling for aid; yet, as visioned in this, that with the proper understanding of same, each as visioned may aid the other in the proper understanding of the experiences of life AND light, that they BRING the better understanding to all. This as is seen is only a portion, for with the climbing up, through the source of aid brought to all as they came to that of seeming rescue, the better understanding and knowledge of the truth, of the light as obtained through the activities of all, as visioned. Hence, as seen, in the action of these together, in their concerted efforts of meditation and prayer for others, there may come much that will be of aid to many in THEIR respective positions or spheres. Good dream - see?
16. (Q) Saw Dr. & Mrs. Brown [William Moseley Brown of defunct Atlantic University] camping. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. Dr. Brown was playing with the children. Mrs. Brown told Miss Gladys and Mildred that it was the first time he had had time to really make pals of his boys, and that they were very happy on this camping trip. (A) That as of a warning of their ejection from their present surroundings, yet as visioned - in the joy that came to each, through the change necessitated by the activities of others - will bring better understanding to those

interested in same.
17. (Q) While meditating in afternoon, the same exuberant feeling came over me that used to years ago, but which had been lost to me for twenty-five years. (A) An experience of the inner self awakening to those potential forces as may be the more active in the body as developments come, in those of the meditations, with those active forces around or about same. As has been given, there shall be in the latter days, "Your young men shall dream dreams, your old men shall see visions, your maidens shall prophesy." These are coming to pass, with the upheavals as are just before the world in MANY a quarter!
18. (Q) While in church, the words in the song book spoke to me and danced right before my eyes. The words "My grace is sufficient for thee" seemed to be impressed upon me. (A) An EXPERIENCE of that, "MY words shall GO before you, if ye will seek me while I may be found!"
19. (Q) Any message or counsel for the body at this time? (A) Be ye faithful; even as ye would have mercy show mercy; as ye would have peace give peace; as ye would have patience shown be patient with others; for only in the attributes OF the living forces of God may ye FIND God; NOT in the MATERIAL things that make of earth-earthy gratifications!
