1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of Edgar Cayce, present in this room, and the dream regarding Lot and the flight from Sodom, together with the interpretation of this dream gotten through this channel April 1, 1932 [294-136]. Please correlate the interpretation of this experience in relation to present conditions that confront the body, and answer the questions as I ask them regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, Edgar Cayce - also the dream and the interpretation as has been given as respecting same.

3. In correlating of circumstances and conditions, as it has been given should be studied as respecting the life and the activities of those concerned:

4. In that as given of Lot, [Gen. 19:26] there was the choice made by Lot as to whether this experience would be among the peoples in the city or those of the plains, or of those of the hills. The life chosen was rather among those, and companionship of those, of the city, which - in common parlance - "turned out bad!"

5. In the correlating with the life of Edgar Cayce, Virginia Beach was chosen rather by those sources through whom, from whom, the information comes. And while the experience is as the attempt on the part of individuals and group to make same so unpleasant as to cause much the same attitude as was forced to and through the life of Lot - but LOT'S experience was besought by a just man. [Abraham] Lot sought little for himself, save as to the gratifying of that as had been builded about same. So, as correlating the experience, then, of the leader or director at the time, and the experience as is in action of the PHYSICAL manifestation of the body, rely rather upon those sources or channels through which such information or direction has come. Believest thou, that thou hast contacted, do contact, those sources from which good may come to self or to others? Then ACT in that way and manner, irrespective of the attitude or actions

of others. To be sure, there may come even those attitudes much as of that story in jest given of the man entering the club often being pitched out, and finally decided he was not wanted; yet stay in that place as has been said. Remember there was given to those of old, "Tarry ye in Jerusalem till ye be endued with power from on high." As has been given, tarry ye in Virginia Beach till ye see the powers of those that would bring to a world an understanding of their relationships to same. Then do so.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) In the present necessity of moving, are there any conditions of which the body should be especially warned? (A) As has been given, the nearer there may be to the activities as have been given, while there may be a reversal of positions or places within the limits of the town, or burg itself; yet in or about, near or at same, would be the place for the activities to be kept, until such a time as there has come a more perfect understanding to all. As is seen in the comparisons of those conditions as given to study as respecting same: Lot chose of the peoples within that surrounding that made ties for self, as well as those about self of a NATURAL nature, so that in the ejection - or in the activity even as sought by the powers and the feelings of Abraham - there is seen that, while there was BODILY saving - or an opportunity again given - yet the fruits of the loins of Lot remained enemies to the seed of Abraham. A lesson to be gained here, as has been seen - each individual as has chosen, or been chosen, or has been led to lend or join hands with those in giving of themselves in service that light might come to others, are not OF that group; rather has this been prevented, as has been seen - if circumstances have been considered, in the study of the situations. How OFT have others - how OFT have there been promptings - how oft have there been attitudes of joining forces with those that are of that group? "I," as He gave, "am IN the world, but not OF the world." In choosing, then, for a residence under the circumstances and conditions, rely upon those from outside sources who have become interested in the efforts of those concerned in the work. While they may live or dwell in the place, they are as sojourners, not OF the place. Through those that may enable those, then, to carry on, and make those associations and connections that would enable there to be prepared, or

made, a dwelling where this may be carried on. THESE are the proper or the right channels, as we would find, to make for the same activities as have been given, as have been pointed out in a vision, see? Not those that care not one whit of that which may be had save that as may be gained for self, but rather those that interest themselves in those sources, those forces, THROUGH which others may receive aid, help, understanding.

8. (Q) Is this the Norfolk group, the one referred to? [See [262] series.] (A) Rather one within the town - Modlin. [Nannie E., Mrs. J. W. of Newcastle Hotel] [See 262-16 on 4/4/32, in re EC work.]

9. (Q) Would the Beachwood on 12th Street, Virginia Beach - (A) One and two, or three - it's very good!

10. (Q) If we can obtain this, would you advise that we move to this place? (A) With sufficient period of rental to make for the improvements as would make it liveable, and that would insure the time or the period necessary for the proper establishing of self in that way and manner that the EXPANSIONS will begin; for this will begin within two years - two years would be the least amount, as we would give.

11. (Q) For a lease? (A) For a lease, for the beginning of expansion by the end of two years from present - there should be moved into quarters that would be prepared.

12. (Q) Where should be the location of permanent quarters? (A) That should be chosen by those that are interested in same. As we find, where there is the least of commercialism - but more of spirituality.

13. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time, or counsel? (A) Be thou faithful over the few things, and he that is faithful over a few will be made ruler over many.
