Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, the general weakened condition, the cold and congestion that has been recently contracted, makes more acute disturbances through the duodenum and gall duct area.
4. The drainages that were set up some time back have again shown activities in that direction.
5. As we find, we need to keep the body quiet; the body needs rest. The body needs recreations in the rest; and these should be adhered to.
6. The manipulations are being WELL done.
7. Those administrations of properties for cold are helpful.
8. The gas pains that arise become very aggravating and fretful; yet the use of so much of the salts is changing the blood pressure in a considerable degree that is NOT beneficial.
9. Rest is the better.
10. The chalybeate or sulphur water would be well to be taken.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Is the gas the cause of the paroxysms of pain at times, or what? (A) As indicated, the gas is part of the cause of the effect of the disturbance in the gall duct and duodenum.
13. (Q) Has the gall duct filled again? (A) As just given, it has just attempted to empty again.
14. (Q) What would you give instead of the salts, to relieve the pain? (A) As just given, chalybeate or sulphur water!
15. (Q) Would you advise having an x-ray? (A) If so desired! It won't hurt!
16. (Q) What about the diet at this time? (A) Do not go too heavy on the diet.
17. We are through for the present.
