Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the archetype of Edgar Cayce, present in this room, as painted by Nancy Lansdale. You will give an interpretation of this archetype, and answer the questions that may be asked regarding it:

2. EC: Yes, we have the archetype, or drawing indicated as an archetype, of Edgar Cayce.

3. This, as is indicated, is an artist's concept of the aura about an individual entity. To interpret same would necessarily in many ways become individual. But some helpful suggestions may be given as to the interpretation of the individual entity's aura indicated here, to individuals who seek in varied forms for a manifestation of the emanations as may be experienced by those who see, feel or interpret that approach to an individual.

4. As is understood, every atomic structure has those vibrations about a nucleus. This is illustrated here in the lower portion of this drawing.

5. Then, to the individual, these vibrations take color or tone. Thus it is the individual's attempt to express in drawing, in color, that visioned. For, vibration takes color and tone - as does a personality of one individual to another.

6. In giving expression, as it takes on color here - there is seen the urn from which the fires - as in the color - take their course through not merely the physical body but through the activities of the mind as well as body.

7. Then there is the placing of the color (as of the blue) in the lower portions, over or about which stars show the beginning of thoughts - or the universal activity of a universe. Each star represents individual activity, which is indicated by the attempt of the artist to balance same.

8. Each individual then, even able to see or to interpret,

294-204 Page 2

would not find in their own selves the ability to make a balance of things - that are not necessarily so balanced in the individual activity of this entity. Yet the artist has here balanced same, in the attempt to depict its course or manner - by not only the inverted hearts of blue but also the white stars, and always the attempt to balance same with the cross throughout.

9. This indicates the activities of the individual entity - that is, the three crosses in the lower portion - as the body, mind and soul, balanced as to its purpose.

10. Then the circles that come between are merely the concept of the artist to depict that movement which arises to the central portion of the archetype, or the brochure in which colors appear other than the white and the blue. But these are merely the attempt to express the breadth of the entity's thought or mind as it has broadened into all the various phases or stages of experiences and development. The coral, with a great deal of color or pomp, indicates the selfish expression more in same, or the need for the lack of self- expression in same. Yet, as these progress upward, each figure - by its activity - is either the nucleus of a thought or the expression is often centered with and surrounded by stars or figures that have taken definite shape for the varied experiences through which the entity has passed.

11. For, as we have indicated through this channel, each soul-entity is a combination of all that it has been, in its attempt to give expression through whatever may be its ideal.

12. That as may be said to be the saving grace in this individual entity, as depicted by the artist here, is the Cross; and, as indicated in the top portion of same, the three expressions of the Cross become lights unto the world.

13. Then, the whole of the archetype is very well expressed. Yet do not understand that the activity of the individual entity has been or is as symmetrical as expressed here. It is rather the beauty of same that is expressed by the artist than the individual entity; for the entity has not been very much of the artist in patterning his life to those things even expressed. This might be interpreted in the way and manner of a spiritual truth; that the way of the Cross - though to the material-minded may be severe - brings beauty, even in the life of the unrighteous, if it is set as a part of the purpose of the entity - as is indicated in the whole of the drawing, or archetype; and that it may bring life, light and hope to others, even though the life itself may be a hardship to the individual, if it is looked upon only from

the material angle.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) How can an archetype be of help to the individual? (A) In that it indicates how others vision that individual. Just in the same manner as helpful criticism is helpful to an individual. Criticism that is done in the spirit of criticism is not helpful. Criticism in the spirit of love may always be helpful. Then it is helpful as an individual may apply the lessons as may be drawn from the study of any portion. For, remember, as the artist has drawn here - as in the sunbursts - these are as worlds in creation. From the number of these, one may indicate the purposes. As to the number of stars, there may be indicated the definite stands that have been taken. As to the crosses - how often, how well the individual entity holds to same.

16. (Q) Just what does the archetype as a whole symbolize? (A) The radiation, or the spiritual aura of an individual entity; symbolizing not only the individual life but that influence DIRECTING the individual life.

17. (Q) Recognizing that an archetype is an original pattern after which a thing is made, does it mean that this archetype of Edgar Cayce is a pattern of his entire soul development until he becomes one with the Father? Please explain. (A) As is indicated in this particular archetype, there is a unison; or as may be indicated from how often three's appear in the figure itself; indicating that here is an individual - to the artist, at least - who has kept, who does keep, well balanced in body, mind and soul. Thus, as indicated, this is a pattern of the whole development, indicating an individual entity very well balanced - from the artist's standpoint, at least; though do not think that this is so in the individual entity! It is as the artist views it!

18. (Q) What is the practical application in the material of the interpretation of the archetype? (A) That as of the WHOLE GLORY of purpose in the individual entity. And the glory is indicated not only by the figures depicting the fires of nature but as to their application in a material world through the Cross. This is indicated in their formations into centers that may become as a nucleus about which there may be the formation of ideas or ideals, - as have taken form in the stars and the figures.

19. (Q) Are the seven seals in the archetype the seven centers illuminated? (A) This is not a concept of the individual entity-artist.

294-204 Page 4

Here they happen to indicate such, but these will not be found in each archetype. Hence they may not be explained from this angle, except as an individual!

20. (Q) What is the meaning of the Cross? (A) The Christ!

21. (Q) What is the significance of the golden radiance from the three crosses at the top of the archetype? (A) The radiation of truth and light to which the entity aspires to attain; or as may be said in one word - PURPOSE!

22. (Q) Do the three crosses with flame represent the Cross that leads the way mentally, physically and spiritually? (A) As indicated throughout, this is what may be termed the saving grace - as indicated in the purposes of the entity throughout its sojourns in the earth.

23. (Q) The symbols seem to run in lights more than any others. Why? (A) As just indicated, it is the bursting forth into ideas or ideals. Stars may be set as ideals. Figures that are irregular in their circular motion are just ideas.

24. (Q) What is the meaning of the two blue hearts with the seven stars under each heart? (A) The basis from which love is founded.

25. (Q) The eleven stars above the flame? (A) The eleven ideals as have been set in the purposes of the entity about the Cross itself.

26. (Q) What is the meaning of the eight pink heart figures, that appear to be connected? (A) This in the central portion represents the very material-minded experience, of that in which the flesh is in close association with the devil - as also with the activities of the spirit of truth. It is spread in such a way as to become the beautiful part here, yet it shows the weakness - if interpreted in the physical entity.

27. (Q) What special meaning do the pastel shades have? (A) That's the concept of the artist - the radiations as they come. Because few pastel shades are carried in an aura about an entity; if they are, such individuals are very weak!

28. (Q) What is the meaning of the three large white stars in the top figures? (A) The three purposes, or the three phases of the entity's purpose; indicating not only the physical but the mental and spiritual activities of same - the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, with those influences that come with same.

29. (Q) What is the significance of 5 pointed stars? 8 pointed stars?

294-204 Page 5

(A) Remember, these have been set as ideals. There are those ideals according to the meaning of five - which is the change, or being subject to change. The eight pointed stars represent those ideals that are bearing fruit in the actions of the individual entity.

30. (Q) What is the significance of the tadpole? (A) As indicated, this represents the beginning.

31. (Q) Various shades of blue? (A) The artist's concept of that to make the whole beautiful.

32. (Q) 14 white dots in center? (A) These are all the ideals or ideas which might indicate a growth to the individual, or that OUT of weakness there may come strength - if the weakness is spiritualized. That is one lesson each soul should never forget: Out of weakness may come strength, if the weakness is spiritualized. For, what man has counted as foolishness, God may count to him as strength.

33. (Q) Does each design represent a center in the body? (A) No. As indicated, this is the artist's concept to produce a symmetrical figure of beauty. For, of course, to each individual these would represent different conditions.

34. (Q) Does this pertain to the body, the mind or the soul? (A) It's the mind of the artist!

35. (Q) Please explain the one with the circle. What is the meaning of the entwined swirls surrounded by the stars? (A) These represent the life force giving out to the life it hopes, it purposes to attain.

36. (Q) How many incarnations are represented in the archetype and what portion of it represents the Palestine period? (A) No individual incarnation, save as the crosses represent the Palestine period. There are eighteen incarnations represented here. You have about eight or nine of them!

37. (Q) What is the meaning of the flat, carpet appearing figure in the center of the archetype? (A) As indicated, this is the center in which there is shown the greater beauty from the physical angle, yet the weakness - or the closer to the flesh and the devil.

38. (Q) On what plane of consciousness does one operate to see such emanations and be able to produce them? (A) On the fourth dimensional plane.

39. (Q) Is it a gift peculiar to some, or the natural development of all? (A) And more apt, of course, in the mind of an artist whose concept is to turn vibrations into color and into figures.

40. (Q) Anything else to be given regarding the archetype?

294-204 Page 6

(A) Much might be asked. And if there are individuals who seek to know further, study that indicated and seek - we would give much here.

41. We are through for the present. present.
