This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 105th Street & Ocean, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of September, 1931, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [295].

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before. Conditions in many ways, PHYSICALLY, are improved in this body. WE will find that were a specific exercise taken, with at least once to three times each week a thorough VIBRATION over the cerebrospinal system with the electrically driven vibrator - Don't worry, and eat plenty (that is assimilated), the conditions should be continuing on the improve.

2. In the vibrations, when these are given, at least ONE of these each week should be particularly for the upper cervical region, beginning at a point over the eye - on either side go back toward the ear and behind the ear, see? following - this preferably with the sponge vibrator - go back over the ear, then to the neck and down to the last of the cervicals, on either side. This will STRENGTHEN the eye; as well as will taking the neck and head exercises once a day be helpful for this. The specific exercises as we would take would be as this:

3. Of the mornings take those as of the stooping - not bending forward, but stooping, raising limbs high both ways, raising limbs far apart, in the jumping and the knife movement that is, the knee up high - see? Then far apart, as in the dance.

4. Then of EVENINGS would be those of the waist up, the arms AND the bending forward - see? Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Does the body need more local applications? (A) Were these exercises and these precautions taken, these SHOULD all adjust themselves in the present condition - unless some OTHER condition ARISES - these ARE adjusting themselves.

6. (Q) Have osteopathic corrections been made properly? (A) These MAY be needed later on, not in the present. Those of the vibrations and the specific exercises would be better in the present than osteopathic manipulations.

7. (Q) Should more Wine of Cardui be taken?

(A) This would be very well, though we will find that with those of the Atomidine will be well.

8. (Q) How often should this be taken, the Atomidine, and what dosage? (A) We would take once each day, three to five drops, PREFERABLY before retiring. This in half a glass of water.

9. (Q) What was the cause of the body's apparent set-back during the past week? (A) Worry. DON'T worry?

10. (Q) Is swimming good for the body? (A) In moderation. Too much of anything isn't good for ANYBODY, nor for this body!

11. (Q) Would sand packs be well? (A) These would be very well, though the exercises may be taken on the sand - as has been outlined, see?

12. (Q) Should the body still abstain from meats and coffee? (A) Be well that those things that will BUILD more blood now be taken, provided the exercises and the activities are such that these will be assimilated. Eat what the body desires! Don't eat too MUCH of it, but that that the appetite calls for (and provided you can get it) eat! but don't eat too much!

13. (Q) How long should the period of exercises last? (A) Three to four years!

14. (Q) I mean at a time? (A) Fifteen to twenty minutes. Don't OVER tire the body, nor don't underdo it - take it with a definite purpose NOT JUST to be going through with same!

15. (Q) Would the breathing exercises outlined by Dr. Bisey be of help? [Sunker A. Bisey, East Indian Scientist] (A) Dependent upon what the body is desiring to DO with itself! Breathing exercises are always well. It is ALMOST an impossibility for one to take exercises, as has been outlined, without taking breathing exercise. That as is DEMANDED of the body from taking this kind or character of exercise is the best. If there are SPECIFIC conditions to be met, or to be applied for - or to in the body, these may be done - under different conditions. We are reaching them in another manner. Follow THESE exercises we have given.

16. (Q) How long should the vibrator be used each time! (A) Until the body is thoroughly relaxed.

17. (Q) Are the body's sudden periods of depression caused partly by the physical condition? (A) Partially that; partially by mental attitudes or worry. Worry does not change anything. The body should, as should most bodies realize (this necessarily has to be practiced by all that would overcome) that WORRY does not change ONE

thing, yet UNFITS self to meet any of the conditions or the circumstances as arise. Rather know that there is hope, life, in HIM. All is His. If self would be ONE of His, then self is heir to all that is needed in thine own development to be one WITH Him; and so act that these will be thine in HIS own time. He knows! He keeps the way!
