1. EC: Yes we have the body here.

2. Now, as we find, while there are those conditions that disturb the better physical forces of the body, these are the natural consequences of developments in the general physical forces of the body.

3. If there is understood the necessity of certain elements and their activity upon the system, and the effect that the disorder of being drawn out of balance through the creating of other forces has upon the body, or the demands upon the forces of the body for the building up of portions in the system, these then may be met in a systematic way and manner. And much of the disturbance and distress made to be of a less serious nature to the better physical functioning.

4. The conditions, as we find, are the building up of the processes in the system for the formations of the molar, stomach and eye teeth. The stomach teeth, especially, are causing so much trouble at the present time (called so because of the very disturbances that are produced in the system at such times). And, as BOTH are being formed at the same period for this body, we have not only that of nausea and indigestion but also temperature and considerable tendency towards pains in head, and an aching effect or feeling over the body that makes for an anxiety as well as fretfulness in the activity of the body itself.

5. The cause of these, then, is that with the creating of processes there is the calling on the system for such large amounts of those elements which call for the activity of the thyroid glands; especially in producing or taking from the system those elements of lime, the phosphates, silicon and the like. In producing the processes, these are being taken from or through these portions of the system affected by the position and nerve forces or centers through which the very teeth themselves are formed, or the positions they occupy as in relation to the rest of the system produce this unbalancing condition. Hence we find there is the

299-3 Page 2

alimentary canal or the gastric flow of the stomach itself. Hence there is the tendency for too free an activity of the stomach and intestinal tract, with little or no digestion taking place but the same drawing on the system for the activity of the teeth (eye teeth, or first molar and eye teeth) makes the tendency to produce temperature; not only the excess flow of the gastric forces in the digestive system and the inactivity of the duodenum, the lack of the correct amount of the lacteal acids that come for the digestion through this portion, but the tendency for the body to take cold easily. Hence the congestion and fretfulness. And a tendency (unless these are removed) for the accumulations to produce a form of colitis in the lower intestinal tract, where there is less or slower activity of the gastric forces through this portion of the system.

6. Then, in meeting these in the present, as we would find, in this way and manner may these be made the most helpful:

7. First we would keep a balance in the digestive system with those properties in the compound called Castoria (Fletcher's), and to make for the eliminations. This would be taken in very small quantities often; as from five to ten drops every fifteen to thirty minutes, until there has been sufficient to cleanse the system through the activities of the properties in the compound to be dissolved or absorbed in the system, thus enabling the whole digestive system to adjust itself to the needs of the system. For, this carries naturally within same that which is aiding, and will be an aid to the body and to those portions of the glands to adjust themselves in a stimuli without being drawn upon to cause too great a strain on those portions whose functionings are necessary through this period of development in the body.

8. Those properties taken for the mastication and digestion should carry a great deal of those properties necessary to keep an even balance in the system; that is: In all the milk, in all the foods taken, the stomach and assimilating system will be materially aided by the addition of small quantities of Limewater and Cinnamon Water.

9. In the milk, to a glass, at least a level or near a teaspoonful to the quantity. And when dried milk, or any of those properties are given, this should be added also to same.

10. We will find that this will not only settle the stomach but will reduce the tendency towards the strain on the system that is necessary for the accumulations of silicon, lime, calcium, that must be drawn from other portions of the system. If these properties are added in the form where

299-3 Page 3

assimilations may take place and make for less strain on same from the glands, that draw from all portions of the body in producing same, it would be well.

11. Also when vegetables or their juices are given, we would add - to the cup - half a teaspoonful of the Lime, and Cinnamon Water. While this will not be so palatable at first, if it will be continued it will aid in carrying into the system those properties (with that which has been used as the building up of the system) that will create the proper balancing for the body.

12. When there is the irritation, so that there is picking or rubbing of the ears and nose, from this constant irritation in portions of the face, small quantities of Syrup of Squill will be of material aid in clearing and clarifying the circulation; both the superficial and the deeper circulation to the head, and in clarifying the whole respiratory system. This would be given in drops of three to five at a dose, and may be given every two or three hours until the condition is allayed.

13. As to compresses or packs that will be made for the gums, or the massaging of the gums - if these are swollen it would be well that they be lanced, that there may be the repression removed and that there may be the helpful effects from same to the straightening of the processes themselves, as they are in excess attempting to come through at this time.

14. To reduce temperature as it arises, or when it arises, and for the over-fretful condition, use rub alcohol especially along the spine - from the base of the brain to the middle portion of the body; this will be found to be most helpful.

15. If these directions are followed along in a systematic way and manner, using these when necessary in their various proportions, and with the various precautions taken from time to time, we will find that these conditions with this body - [299] - will adjust themselves for the betterment, as the body passes through these periods of adjustments, physically and mentally.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) In adding the Limewater and Cinnamon Water, was it meant a level teaspoonful of the mixture or of each? (A) Half and half.

18. (Q) Please give diet for present condition. (A) That which is most easily assimilated, as indicated by that given. Milk, dried milks, all the processes that make for the building up of the properties necessary for the reconstruction - or for the construction within the system

299-3 Page 4

of those forces necessary, are the better things. Those foods that AGREE best with the body may be said to be those that may be given at this time. Fruits of all kinds are helpful, of course, when they may be taken. Of course, all the orange juices or citrus fruit juices are helpful - in their proper way and manner. These taken as the precautions, see? Not too much sweets, to be sure; nor too much heavy meats of any kind, but the juices or broth of these would be helpful in the proper place to keep the balancing of the digestion, through the giving of those properties as outlined in Castoria.

19. (Q) Give convalescent diet. (A) This would not be much changed from that which should be the general diet.

20. (Q) Were parents or any others responsible for prolonging body's illness? (A) Not as we find. The general condition, or the lack of keeping an even balance in the quickness or the amount of the processes that are developing at once, see?

21. (Q) What is condition of tonsils, and what treatment is indicated? (A) Only the massages that are necessary, with the bathing or reduction of the general conditions in the system; as we find in the present. The inflammation that arises is from rather the over amount of circulation that comes through these portions of the system, with the general upset in stomach and in head itself.

22. (Q) Give detailed directions for the use of the enema with this body. (A) This may be used in that form given as best for this particular type of condition, for this age or for the developing child; but such should not be used to excess while these eliminations are being carried on - unless it becomes necessary for the RELIEVING of the conditions, see?

23. (Q) Is the use of a small amount of cool water in the rectum good for lowering body temperature? (A) This is very good for lowering body temperature. The better (or will be found the most effective) is the bathing with the rub alcohol to these particular portions, and with the use of the properties given (which will lower temperature itself).

24. (Q) What laxatives are best? (A) None better than that of Castoria!

25. (Q) Give detailed directions for the use of the bath with this body at this time, and also when normal? (A) These have been outlined. Do these as we have outlined, following these conditions. Study first the needs, see? the disturbances, see? that have been

299-3 Page 5

outlined. Then, use these precautions - with those things that have been given. Do that for the present.
