Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Body and enquiring mind, in the office of the ... Hdwe. Co., ..., Va., and those conditions at her place of employment and her family, especially regarding the placing of her son, [361] in school. You will go over these conditions and give specific advice and counsel. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [303]; this we have had before; also those conditions, those surroundings; store, home, school.

2. As we find, in approaching such conditions that are involved in the surroundings, the office, the home, the school, know:

3. Judgments are from the spiritual or the angle for soul development, if the choice is to be for betterment, and are not always apparent or even considered in the now (as called) as plausible or at times even feasible; yet time, the experiences, the conditions are as one. Then with that desire for the direction by constructive or spiritual force, these then are approached in this manner.

4. Some conditions have improved. There needs to be, as has been indicated, not an attempt to placate any of the conditions arising in the experience of those about the entity; only advice in the light of the own experience.

5. Do just, right as for self; leave the results with Creative Forces. DO NOT worry or make for such anxiety because they are not in accord with self's OWN interpretation, but do the best and leave the rest to Creative Forces!

6. As for school for the son:

7. If all conditions are taken into consideration, as we find, we would make application to, we would direct those things toward, the Oberlin School; where it is work three days, school three days; where there are the opportunities for the character of development in keeping with that which

303-15 Page 2

is the better, and where there is the opportunity for duties, obligations, responsibilities; and the opportunity for the expressions of that which has been gained.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) What can I do that my work at my place of employment may be more bearable? (A) As has just been given.

10. (Q) What can I do that I may help the owner and his staff of employees? (A) This may all be applied or implied from that given. Such advice is not indefinite because it doesn't say "Go down on Tuesday and bawl everybody out," or "go down Wednesday, take a drink of water and rest!" It is as specific as life day by day! The worry is that each individual is fearful of the morrow. And you do not live but one hour, one minute at the time. Then if there is that attitude to do the best, or that thou KNOWEST to do, do not be anxious about the other conditions!

11. (Q) Did I do right in signing the paper he, Mr. [employer], asked me (that one pertaining to the Electrical department)? (A) That must be questioned within self, not from here. For these questions would be approached from many varied angles. But as we find these are in keeping with that as has just been indicated, and thus would be justified.

12. (Q) If a change is better for all concerned, where should I seek employment? (A) It's not better!

13. (Q) Is it well for me to send my son, [361] to school this fall? (A) If that connection is made as indicated, or the opportunity provided in that as indicated, or in such a school. Not well to assume too great an obligation.

14. (Q) Is the one referred to that one in Oberlin, Ohio? (A) It's Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio.

15. (Q) What source may he or I contact in order to get financial help? (A) The SCHOOL! That's the type of school! It's an industrial school as well as having those activities for education in all of the branches. It's the type, the character that is needed for this individual, as well as for the circumstances that surround all concerned.

16. (Q) Please give me advice in regard to my daughter, [263], both as to the care of her physical body and her social life. (A) These would have to be approached from the individual body.

303-15 Page 3

As for the individual activity as respecting the social life and the care about the body, this as we find - to attempt, in the present, to reach a status that is longed for - should have been begun about twenty years ago! But to meet the conditions in the present, then live each day, meet each circumstance, in the light of that which has been the study of the body in relationships to individuals' lives and their own individual responsibility. There has been too oft, then, the attempt to shield, or the attempt to provide, or the attempt to give advice and counsel without due consideration to the whole situation. Not that these are not to be given, but not by argumentation, not by storm, but rather the counseling together. If you would find the trust in the social life, you must trust the body; but KNOW that the results are to be upon the basis of what you expect of same, and of what you do towards same. Not only in act but word as well. Do not say one thing and do another. These are the manners, as we find, that these conditions are to be met. Give more responsibility, make more demands of that responsibility; not as commands but as duty in fulfilling that which is being supplied by self TOWARD the daughter - the same should be demanded of the daughter towards self!

17. (Q) Please advise concerning the training of my grandchild, [415]. (A) This again should be approached individually, rather than giving what one individual's approach should be when there are others that also are to counsel, to advise. Such should not be approached only from the angle of that as pertains to self. There has been given that as to how the training of the young should be. [See 415-1, Life Rdg., on 10/5/33.] [See 5747-1 & 5747-2 [?]] This should be then taken in that light, in these situations. Let all AGREE who have the commanding and demanding of the grandson. Do not have one saying one thing and another saying another; but in love - yet in positive love. These are the better.

18. (Q) Should we at this time attempt to sell our home or would it be well to keep it and put in the necessary repairs

303-15 Page 4

and water supply and drainage necessary? (A) As we find when all conditions are considered, it is better to keep and to gradually make those alterations and changes necessary; for this would be more advantageous when all are considered.

19. (Q) Would it be well for me to go to the hospital, or can I be treated at home and be relieved of my physical disease? (A) As we find, much of the physical disturbance arises from the mental anxieties. Then to go to the hospital - if conditions are so set that there is the opportunity for the care of same without mental worry - hospitalization would be the better.

20. (Q) Please give any other advice that I may need at this time. (A) We may give some; we may not give all that may be needed. Keep the mental and the physical in accord. Do not attempt to do the impossible mentally OR physically in relationships to those about the home or those about the office; but know that to do right, to do justice, to love all, in the place you find yourself, is fulfilling the purpose for which a body, an entity, a soul is in an individual experience. This does not mean that changes may not be made, but rather - as has been given - if we do well that we have in hand day by day, then the next step is shown us WHEN THAT IS DONE!
