Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [303], present in this room, together with the tests and trials in her working conditions, her family, her home and her physical body. You will analyze these thoroughly and give her specific advice and counsel that will aid her in better meeting and overcoming these tests and trials and in bringing help both materially and spiritually to all. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [303], present in this room; together with the problems, the trials, the conditions in the home, in the associations and work.
3. In the physical forces of the body we find there has been and is being dissipated some of those disturbing influences and forces. These however, as they are being dissipated, may at times cause a great deal of physical disturbance or anxiety.
4. Through their lack of being eliminated, they tend to fasten or foster themselves upon various portions, especially where the mucous membranes are the more active in the system.
5. In the present we find the acuteness of cold or congestion through portions of the bronchi and trachea, or a feeling in the central portion of the lungs, in and through the hips and the lower part of spine, back and abdomen. These will pass, if there is occasionally produced an abundance of eliminations.
6. The application of heat, too, will tend to aid in this character of elimination; with the use of any good astringent rub - as the equal combination of the Turpentine, Camphor and Mutton Tallow, with heat applied.
7. Also be mindful of the diet, as not to upset those influences that tend to cause superacidity, or those activities where the too-quick fermentation brings about the formation of gas and the like.

8. Occasionally, then, we would keep all of those things suggested, for the continued dissipation of those areas where there tends to be accumulations that would segregate themselves and form in tuberous natures or wens or the like.
9. These as we find, for the physical forces of the body.
10. In considering the environmental forces, [at work] - oft these become trials. turmoils; unkind things that are said and the like, apparently unappreciative of the efforts and the activities that are made. Yet as we find, when there is the analyzing of the general conditions, when there are not the influences that come from the participation in those things that bring the unusual or the unnatural sources - these are the times when such disturbances arise.
11. Then, take these into consideration. Know that it is the REAL individual with which there are the dealings. Overlook, so far as practical, the unkindnesses, the unreal things that come about. For, a great deal of patience is needed; yet through the exercising of this patience there may be brought to those about the entity the realization that they, too, must look to Him who is the Author and the Finisher of faith, who is the beginning and the end of love as manifested in the earth, and as may be manifested among the real children of God.
12. Be patient, then, and know that He IS mindful, and will not allow thee to be tempted beyond that ye are able to bear.
13. In the home and the activities, those relationships, - be true to thine own self and you will not be false to any. The law of love is giving, not overtaxing body or mind but in patience. For He is mindful of thee.
14. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) Considering the information given through this source to my son [See 361-14], Borinquen Field, Puerto Rica, is there anything I could do that would aid him in securing his transfer to the Quartermaster Department of the army? (A) These must come through their regular channels; though there may be the reminding of those in authority of the purposes and the papers as filed with the application of entry.
19. (Q) Is my immediate home the best place for my daughter [263] and her husband [1467] at this time? (A) This depends upon how each meets the various problems there. Each one is good for the other, in their varied spheres of activity. But each should - if there would be the better - do, or BE rather than do, their part.
20. (Q) Should I encourage my daughter [263] to take a course in practical nursing this fall? (A) Better encourage her to take some practical nursing on herself, and then she may be able to apply it on others!
21. (Q) Is my physical body in any better condition than it was at my last Check Reading? (A) As has been indicated.
22. (Q) How may I eliminate the overacidity in my body and bring about better eliminating forces without the use of so much laxatives? (A) As indicated, the dissipation is taking place but may be the better accomplished with the use of heat and the certain ingredients as indicated here, over the areas where distresses come. Then continue with the diet, and occasionally the full cleansing of the system.
23. (Q) Please give diet. (A) Do not become one so burdened to a diet as to become a hindrance rather than a help. This has been outlined for the body oft. Through experience and through those activities, it is understood those things that agree and disagree; but keep to those that are the more easily assimilated, and that carry the greater quantity of the vitamins for vitality - or thiamine and the iron and the like, see?
24. (Q) Is there anything that I might take in the way of a tonic that will give me more vitality and strength? (A) None better than ADIRON, as we find, this should not be overdone, but sufficient to keep the balance with the excesses of the thiamine - or B-1 vitamin in the foods.
25. (Q) Please give me some spiritual advice and an affirmation that will serve to strengthen me spiritually.

(A) As has been indicated, and as may be found in this: LORD, I AM THINE, WHOLLY - IN BODY, IN MIND, IN PURPOSE. BE THOU THE GUIDE, O GOD, IN MY DAILY PROBLEMS, MY DAILY GOING INS AND COMING OUTS. SPEAK, THAT THY SERVANT MAY HEAR AND KNOW THOU ARE PLEASED WITH MY HUMBLE AND FEEBLE EFFORTS. YET BELIEVING IN THE ASSURANCE THAT IS OFFERED IN HIM, "I AM WITH THEE ALWAYS," I HUMBLY BESEECH THAT I MAY BECOME MORE AND MORE - THEN - AWARE OF THAT PRESENCE; NOT AS A LAUDING, NOR OTHER THAN THE ASSURANCE THAT THOU HEAREST AND ANSWEREST PRAYER.
