1. GC: You will answer the questions as I ask them regarding this body.

2. EC: Now, we find the conditions are somewhat changed in the system from that as we have had here before. While many of the conditions have taken on the gradual change as comes under such conditions, yet there are many that may be improved and assisted in gaining nearer their correct incentives and bring body to nearer normal functioning. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Why is the body losing weight? (A) This one of the natural consequences of age and conditions under which the body is exercised at the present time. This we see may be assisted somewhat through the helping or assisting of conditions in general in the body. This, however, is not a condition to be wary of, unless it should become an excessive state, and this would not under the suggestions as would be given for the body in general.

4. (Q) What is the condition of the lungs? (A) These we find show at present much of the effect of the condition as has existed, and does exist, in the bronchials and in portion of lungs. With the constant coughing and breaking of tissue, and with the constant filling up and slowing up of circulation and of the ability of lungs to discharge their proper functions, the irritation gradually pulls away, or takes off portions of tissue in lungs proper. Hence the change as it were in the structural portions of the body proper, or the thinning of the sides, in chest or upper portion of chest, and the filling out or protruding of the bone or structural portions proper. This exterior and interior condition in lungs. This to be assisted and helped, we would take in the system those properties that will help eliminate in the blood stream and that will, through respiratory system, give the better effect to the lungs and bronchials proper. Using then this:

To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, add: Eucalyptol....................30 minims, with Benzosol or Rectified Creosote, preferably the Benzosol....20 minims, and Canadian Balsam...............15 minims, with Oil of Turp....................5 minims, with Balsam of Tolu...............1/2 dram, which will float and gradually dissolve when shaken in bottle. Keep tightly corked except when used as an inhalant. Use two or three times each day, or when there is spasmodic condition of coughing just a single or two whiffs or inhalants of same. If necessary to use the Creosote, reduce half quantity of that. As the expectorant, and as properties taken internally: To 16 ounces of Wild Cherry Bark, add 1 gallon of rain water. Reduce by simmering, or slow boiling, to 1 quart. Strain and while warm add the half quantity of the horehound in half quantity of water and reduced to one-half quantity. To this add simple syrup 1 pint. To this add grain alcohol 1 ounce. The dose of this would be 1 tablespoonful 2 to 3 times each day [See 304-19 on 4/13/30, for bronchial pneumonia, advising another horehound formula.] [304-11 changed formula.] As this acts as an astringent as well as expectorant, we will find the intestinal tract will need more care and attention. Not too much sweets at any time, unless of honey or of sweets from citrous fruits as made with beet sugars. The diet of the body is very good at times. Keep in that way of the dietetics as have been outlined for the body. As much of the exercises for the expansion and the use of the body as can be taken without producing the spasmodic coughing. For the condition as we find in the lower portion of body, or for the piles [hemorrhoids], use that as has been given as a specific for these conditions [Tim], as are produced by the relaxing of the muscles of the lower portion of the intestinal tract. Using this whenever necessary, injecting as far as possible with the body.

5. (Q) Has the body organic bladder trouble? (A) Overtaxing of the system in the eliminations. Hence the extra amount of horehound tea as is given in the properties for the body.

6. (Q) Has the body organic kidney trouble?

9. (Q) Has the displaced vertebra of sometime back been replaced properly? (A) It's not in place at present, and would be well were sufficient of the manipulations and adjustments taken to correct same. Be well were these corrected by chiropractic forces, or deep osteopathic forces with adjustments chiropractically.

10. (Q) Any other suggestions for the improvement of this body? (A) Follow these, as we have given, at the present.
