Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [307].
2. While conditions are somewhat changed from that as we have had here before, conditions are not good at all. For the body overtaxes itself physically, and disregards - often - the effect of food values being taken when there are mental and physical anxieties. Hence we have a very DEPLETED blood supply, a very strained nerve system.
3. As we find, the BETTER or the greater activity would be REST AWAY FROM general surroundings, or in those environs and surroundings where those conditions are in attune or in accord with peace and harmony for the body's MENTAL reaction.
4. In making the applications under the present, or under the environments or those activities of the body in the present, those things that will tend to make for a stimulation without the using of the energies of the body will be the better.
5. Keep the eliminations near normal. Let there be not a single day without the full activity through or from the alimentary canal.
6. Keep the low electrical vibrations. These are preferable to superficial circulation. The plain violet ray, you see. This will REST the body. This should be given from the back of the head to the sole of the feet, and this should be given NOT STRONG - but gentle, to relax the body.
7. Be mindful that there are not too great quantities of foods at any time taken; but those that carry the vitamins necessary for supplying energies. As would be from at least one meal a day principally of raw, green or fresh vegetables. This would be an outline for this body, then, though - of course - these are not ALL that the body may take:
8. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, with CORN cakes - with butter or honey, with coffee; not too strong, but no milk or

cream in same.
9. Or the whole wheat, this well-cooked - and with milk OR cream; a little sugar, not too much.
10. Or stewed fruits; as Apricots, or Prunes, or Figs, or Raisins.
11. Any of these, but do not mix too many of these together. Combinations are worse than the foods themselves!
12. Noons - preferably the raw, fresh vegetables. These should include celery, lettuce, spinach, mustard, onions, peppers, tomatos, carrots, peas or beans (or both), or the raw turnips, or the raw potato (very little, of course); and these may be taken either with the oil or the mayonnaise dressing.
13. Between the meals the malted milks or dried milks may be taken, or these may be made in the form of an eggnog or the like and taken - though not too much of same.
14. Evenings - fish or fowl or lamb; not hog meat at any time, not even crisp bacon except very, very seldom. Three of the cooked leafy vegetables to two of the pod or to one of those under the ground.
15. This would be the general outline.
16. After the daily activities, or in the afternoons, would be the time when the milk and spirits frumenti may be mixed WELL together and taken; or the egg mixed at this time would be well.
17. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) What is the cause and cure for the soreness on the right side of my head? (A) The poor circulation, and the general activities of the system would be necessary to relieve same; or the specific activity of the general application of the violet ray over the whole system. This will relax the system sufficient to change the circulation, so as to prevent the poor circulation and the poor nerve energies from localizing.
19. (Q) What time of the day would the violet ray be best used? (A) Just before retiring!
20. (Q) Has my method of meditation had anything to do with my physical condition? (A) No! Rather the physical condition has had much to do with the manner in which those conditions act in the meditation! A weakened condition of the body may be so overstimulated by concentration in meditation as to OVERTAX the general physical system and become detrimental. But the fault is in the physical and NOT in the meditations! Supply the energies, as indicated; or keep in those environments where the body may be kept quiet and not overtax the system.

21. (Q) Please advise how I may through meditation rejuvenate my body? (A) Rejuvenate the physical first! Then we may make a better accord for the mental and the spiritual to be active through same! So seldom is it considered by all, that spirituality, mentality, and the physical being are all one; yet may indeed separate and function one without the other - and one at the expense of the other. Make them cooperative, make them one in their purpose - and we will have a greater activity.
