Time of Reading ... Street, 11:50 to 12:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Body & enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to her physical & mental well-being. Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, Mrs. [310]; this we have had before.

2. In the general physical forces of the body we find some changes from that as we have had here before. Some are for the improvements; others show the need of other conditions in the general physical forces of the body.

3. As we find, the necessary influences to make for betterments would be the use of a higher vibration, as well as the low form of electrical vibrations for the body. The nerves in many portions have become so wrought, or so unbalanced, as to need the higher vibrations, as well as those that make for the equalizations in the body.

4. Then, we would advise the continued use of the Radio-Active Appliance that makes for the quieting.

5. We would also use the [hand machine] violet ray, using the [rod electrode?] applicator where the vibrations themselves are directed into the body. When used, it would be better that this be placed under the arm and the arm closed close to the body, see? especially under the right arm. And we would also, when changing, use this under the knee - with the knee closed against the body, see? This we would use for ten minutes at least every other day, and keep the general activities and the general conditions for the rest of the activity mentally, as well as the balancing of the diets for the system.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Should this violet ray be applied under the arm at one treatment and the next day, or every other day, under the knee? (A) We would circle the body with same, but make two treatments under the right arm to one in the other portions under the left arm, or under the right or left knee.

8. (Q) It shouldn't be under the arm and knee the same day?

310-6 Page 2

(A) No. Begin as this: Under the right arm, arm pits, see, two days in succession. The next day under the left knee, see, after the two days. The next day under the left arm. The next day under the right knee. The next two days under the right arm.

9. (Q) Should the [business school] teaching in my own home be continued? (A) To be sure, there are other conditions as well to be considered in this respect. True, there have been questionings as to the advisability of being associated in this direction as a part of the regular curriculum; this teaching in the schools. That the body's activities in this direction are not at present among the accredited schools makes for questionings in the own mind. If the body is able to make an association or connection with the principals and with the individuals in the SCHOOLS, that is satisfactory to insure there being sufficient numbers in such classes, then this should be continued; or rather expanded somewhat, in preference to any other outside work, see? If there are not sufficient numbers to insure such an association or connection, and there is the offer for the activities of the body in the capacity of an associate in the way of secretarial work, then - even though this might be outside of the immediate environ or surrounding - this may be considered. But, if there can be made sufficient associations or connections to insure the carrying on of the activities in the home, in the ... vicinity, then make such arrangements. For, to be sure, there is to be taken into consideration the change in surroundings, the change in environs, and the necessary expense to which the body would be put in such a change, and in making new connections and surroundings. And that in the present is much more valuable for the general conditions and satisfaction of the body. Hence, as is seen, many conditions are to be weighed when such is considered. But, as we find, there can be those

310-6 Page 3

associations, those conditions brought to bear, that would make this a much more feasible activity; to continue in the home, in the way of making it a portion of the regular curriculum - in schools, to be sure.

10. (Q) If this is done, should the school be accredited? (A) It naturally BECOMES accredited; by the very fact that the body, [310], is sufficiently advanced to be considered as one capable (and the body is) of giving such instruction, will make for an accrediting; and will be counted - should be counted - as the regular work for the schools' activities.

11. (Q) How should the financial arrangement be best made with this? (A) This depends upon what manner; whether it is to be a part of the regular curriculum as suggested. If so, then there is so much set aside for that activity. If it is to be a SELECTIVE, then this may be taken by individual activity; yet accredited in the school work - which it would be, if the association and connection is made with the school (which is possible).

12. (Q) Any suggestions as to members of household of [...]? (A) While we find in the present these are very satisfactory in many ways and manners, we do not find - UNLESS there is the change in the environs as regarding the school activities - that it would be necessary for changes, unless the whole change is made, see? But with such a change it would necessitate that some change be made in the household to meet the necessary requirements and the needs.

13. (Q) What would be suggested regarding this? (A) Make the preparations for the carrying on of such an undertaking, equipment, and so forth, necessary room, etc., see? There would be the necessary practice and the necessary instruction, for the various activities in carrying on such an undertaking; which would require the use of various portions of the household for those very activities themselves. These may be had (in making such preparations) after there has been the association or connection made through the various facilities of the activities, see?

14. (Q) If the arrangements are not made with the school, or if not able to make the arrangements, should I accept the position at ..., Ala.? (A) As we have suggested, while this would be in some respects satisfactory, if there are the abilities to make the associations and connections either with the school or sufficient numbers independently for the carrying on of this character of work, it would be working TOWARD that very

310-6 Page 4

field of activity to which the body may lend itself in its greater associations or activities.

15. (Q) What line of procedure should I take regarding the property in East Alabama situation? (A) As we find, it would be rather that the body should be insistent that there be the coming together of those that are personally, vitally interested in same, and have matters of all natures and characters straightened at this time. Under those directions that have been made respecting the general activities through the Federal associations, in such connections, these that exist in the present may be set aside; provided there is the reimbursement of those funds so paid, and same is used as a source of supply or income for one that is dependent in part or whole upon that as may accrue from activities in that direction. Or, as in plain words: Where there has been a deed given, this would hold under ORDINARY conditions, unless there was shown some activity personally on the part of those that had made such connections, see? Then, in the present these may be made; but it will require that this be done (that is, the settlement) before sufficient time has elapsed for this payment to be made again. Hence must be done between now and the first of December.

16. (Q) Would it be satisfactorily handled by [bro.-in-law [4788]]? (A) That's the only way it CAN be handled!

17. (Q) Should I be personally active with this? (A) Only insistent that, under the existent conditions, a meeting be had and that this be brought about in such a manner that it may be settled now.

18. (Q) Should Dolly be regular help at ...? (A) There's too many questions here as to those activities of the body and it would be better were there the gentle kindnesses used in making for some restorations of that which has caused these questions; and then be rid of the services.

19. (Q) How should I proceed about securing these? (A) As given, through the gentleness and kindness; but it will require some very positive action. No threats, to be sure, except POSITIVE conditions; and carry out all that is stated about same.

20. (Q) She is then responsible for the loss of the articles?

310-6 Page 5

(A) Responsible.

21. (Q) What should be my attitude towards Mr. M... and the L... situation? (A) That taken in the present is the better attitude. For, as seen, there is some - as may be termed - interference in this direction, by the injection of the likes and favors of others that have been and are quite close to the body in associations. Hence, while confidences are still exchanged between all concerned, the attitude that has been assumed by the body is the better to pursue.

22. (Q) How should the various items of business within my own family be cleared up - notes due, etc.? (A) All of these may be cared for in those associations or connections that may be had, from the meeting together of the principals in the activities of settling those things in question. And at the same time the advisory associations with the body [4788] would clarify the whole situation for the body.

23. (Q) What regarding business interests in ..., Tenn.? (A) These would be left in the hands of those as indicated.

24. (Q) What is the condition of same? (A) Very satisfactory in the present. To be sure, the changes and the general conditions have made for some very hard lines, but the situation in the present is clearing. Hence all the more necessity that there be the satisfactory arrangements of these conditions before December first.

25. (Q) Any suggestions for better service along any line by me? (A) Keep the heart singing throughout those activities of every nature, in the contacts with the individuals from day to day. And clarify all associations in one's own self, and these will make for more and better contented activity. And this would make for that necessity in part to remain (if plausible, possible, reasonable) in the present surroundings.

26. We are through for the present.

27. EC: Just before waking, said - as if recognizing and speaking to him: "Mr. [5473]!"

28. GC: Is there any message? (No answer. Began to wake up.) Copy to Self " " File
