Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Fla. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [313]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, there are some specific changes in the general physical forces of the body in the present, from that as we have had here before.

3. Some of these, or the MOST of these, are for the betterment. Some, we find, show that there is NOT the general assimilation and distribution through the general physical forces of the body as there should be.

4. We find little or no organic disturbances, other than functional; yet these, as we find, need the considerations that would make for a betterment of the general physical condition.

5. While, as it is seen, those vibrations accorded the body through the electrically driven vibrator bring ease and rest to the body, these do not aid the internal activity sufficient in the present to bring about those activities in the assimilations and in the distribution of that assimilated. While the superficial activity AIDS in this direction, it falls somewhat short of supplying - under the present conditions - all the NEEDS of the body.

6. Then, we would change somewhat as to the diet; also as to properties that would be taken within the system, as to make for a betterment in the functioning of the assimilating system, also the distribution of those properties assimilated.

7. However, we would continue the general massage that is given with or through the use of the electrically driven vibrator.

8. We would take then, internally, at least three or four times each day, a small quantity of olive oil. Not more than the body will well assimilate. Half to three-quarters of a teaspoonful at a dose. However, should this in any manner, through the tendencies for a filling of the stomach so easily (and this is much caused, or is caused a great

313-5 Page 2

deal, by the position of the stomach itself proper), cause disturbance or regurgitation, or the belching of the oil, reduce the quantity but continue to take just as often - and gradually increase the amount as the body will assimilate same.

9. It would also be found well for the body to take, at least three times each week, a teaspoonful to a tablespoonful of Milk of Bismuth; in which there is put from six to ten drops of Lactated Pepsin. See? If the teaspoonful is taken, put in six drops. If the tablespoonful is taken, put in the ten drops, see?

10. And we would change the diet as into THIS way and manner; of course, this being merely an outline that may be altered to suit the tastes of the body:

11. Mornings - citrus fruit or, the more often, stewed fruits - which should include, at least three or four times each week, that of rhubarb.

12. We would also take at the morning meals, after the citrus fruit or with the stewed fruit, psyllium seed. Two teaspoonsful in four tablespoonsful of boiling water. Allow to jell before it is eaten.

13. Occasionally it would be found well, too, that the yolk of egg be added; not too hard cooked, or cooked HARD and then mashed or mixed with any ingredient that makes it more palatable for the body. But do not include the white of egg in the diet, just take the yolk.

14. However, to be sure, there may be many periods when the white and the yolk may be taken; ESPECIALLY will this be found helpful if it is taken in the middle of the morning with dried milk or such properties that make for an egg and milk drink, see? As malted milk, dried milk, Mellins food, or the like. To this there should be added, also, some stimuli - either wine or spirits frumenti, or beer, or malt, that will aid in the digestion through the system.

15. Noons - any of the vegetable juices or soups, or the juices of MEATS that may be prepared; but do not MIX or have large quantities of meats or GREASES in preparing the noon-day meal, see?

16. At this meal there should be a good deal of butter, a good deal of brown bread, or the like, taken.

17. Evenings - the whole vegetable diet, well-balanced; and at least three or four times each week the calf's liver, tripe, or the like, should be taken. Pig knuckles, also, are well; PREFERABLY these should be fresh rather than the pickled variety, for little or none of those that are of the acidic acid base should be taken for the body, save when SOME vegetables are taken that may be prepared with very

small quantities of same.

18. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) Should the Blond Psyllium be taken? (A) The Blond or the Black, either one. The Blond is more PALATABLE.

20. (Q) What should be done to correct the discharge which comes at times other than at the monthly period? (A) With the correction of the abilities to produce more vitality in the system, these will NATURALLY of themselves gradually correct themselves, see? There should be, for the correction of this, local application - that may be used with Atomidine (in the douche), or Glyco-Thymoline, or ANY of the douches that make for a cleansing. CREOLIN would be well, see? In all of these, the quantity would be about a dessertspoonful to a gallon of water.

21. (Q) Should she start again taking Atomidine? (A) We would use the oil in preference to the Atomidine, in the present. This may be used in the douche, or either of those given may be used - or it may be well to alter or change. Creolin, as we find, would be the more preferable one at the present time. This is lack of vitality, and acid in the system, that produces same, see? (that is, the discharge)

22. (Q) Has the vibrator been used correctly? (A) This is very good. It would be MORE helpful to be given more across the brachial plexus (between shoulders), as to aid in stimulating those organs in this portion of the body. Not to excess, to be sure, but so that it RELAXES the body thoroughly.

23. (Q) How often should these treatments be given now? (A) If given each day, it would be very helpful. Not so long a period, but each day will be very helpful.

24. (Q) What applicator would be best to use on the vibrator? (A) Either the cup, that draws, or the sponge; cup preferable.

25. (Q) Should she take White's Cod Liver Oil? (A) Let's use the olive oil in the present. White's Cod Liver Oil is very stimulating, but with the diet that has been outlined - and with the use of the olive oil, this SHOULD be preferable in the present situation.

26. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) We would follow these rather systematically, as we have suggested. Of course, the douches would only be taken WHEN necessary - see?

313-5 Page 4

27. (Q) Should anything be done to correct position of stomach? (A) If so, we would have given it! With these stimulations that we have given for the cardiac portion of the system, this will gradually be adjusted. Of course, it would not be harmful for there to be used a belt or a band about the stomach, or about the abdominal region, to hold the stomach in place. This is not absolutely necessary, but it will be found to be much more comfortable - after becoming accustomed to same.

28. That is all the questions.

29. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " File
