2. Yes, we have the entity here; those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are manifested and latent in the personalities of the entity now known as or called [319].

3. In entering the present experience we find the entity from astrological aspects, or those influences that arise innate from sojourns in the environs about the earth (during the interims of experiences in the earth) and those influences that arise from sojourns in the earth, not at all periods coordinating; yet, in the main, developments in the soul expression of the entity.

4. From the records, then, we have:

5. From Mercury there are the high mental abilities, with BUSINESS acumen; making for not only interest in individuals, peoples or conditions, but things also that have to do with the exercising of the rights of individuals.

6. Hence those things that pertain to law and order become a part of the entity innately. Orderliness is a portion, then, of the entity's experience from such an influence in the innate forces of the entity.

7. From Jupiter we have the ennobling influences, dealing with those things that make for larger associations with groups of individuals in many phases of human endeavor and human experience; making for activities that would have to do or to deal with their moral relationships, their maternal and material relationships. These become as a portion of the entity's experience innately. These things we find would be shown in that portion of newspapers or magazines to which the entity may turn for enlightenment or entertainment. Those portions that deal with such become a

319-2 Page 2

part of the entity's innate and manifested experience.

8. In Venus we find an affliction with Mars, making for that in the experience of the entity in which anger or strife at some expression or some experience in the present sojourn may become, has become or does become a portion of the environmental influence from activity of the entity. For urges that may arise either from the innate or manifested expressions from experiences or sojourns are only as expressions, and when they are applied or used or manifested, then do they become more and more in any given experience a portion of the entity's activity.

9. Hence very select do the friendships of the entity become. Rather reserved and timid in some directions. Not waiting, as it were, upon the movement or activity of others, yet in a manner rather depending upon activities of others in many directions; making for conflicting emotions or conflicting activities innate in the influence of the entity in its dealing or in its relationship with its general public - as indicated from the mental influences. Hence it becomes a portion of the entity's activity to apply self in the direction that makes for these to become (that is, Jupiter and Mercury) more manifest in the expression of self in its dealings or relationships with individuals or groups in the more material way or manner.

10. The influences from Venus and Mercury may make for broadening, if the mental equilibrium is kept and the ennobling forces from the Jupiterian influence are brought - as it were - to the front; making then for more aggressiveness in some directions. For, as has been given or maintained in the expressions of such influences in the experience of individuals, if there would be the greater expression or manifestations in the activities in these directions: to have the more friends, show self to be more friendly to others. If there would be the greater dependence had upon individuals and in their associations, show that these are a portion of that as may be required in not only the tenets but the activities of the entity in dealing with same. It's one thing, as may be said, to be self-reliant; and another to put great confidences in individual activities. Greater indeed to make for that manifestation of self in which these are HABITS, as it were, by not pessimistic assurance but rather the optimistic assurance of such relationships.

11. As to the appearances in the earth, then, and those that influence the entity in the present (for not all are given) and in the activities for the present sojourn in its relationships to others, we find:

319-2 Page 3

12. Before this we find the entity was among those during the first of the settlings in the land now known as Florida, or Augustine; when there were the earlier portions of the Spanish and the kindred relationships in the activities.

13. The entity then was among those peoples of that period that were born of parentage that had settled in the early portion of the land.

14. Then the entity was one who chose in this new land to become affiliated or associated with the church that was established among the natives and the peoples that had flocked to that particular or principal portion of the activity in the land.

15. The entity became then a nurse, or what would now be called a sister of mercy for the activity in ministering and teaching. For in those experiences, as Sister Celia, the entity was active as a sister, gradually arising to the position of mother or sister superior in those activities that were begun in that portion of the land.

16. And still there may be seen some evidences of those activities in and about some of the older settlings and older lines. For to the entity, as then, the tolling of bells of a certain cymbal or sound brings innately in the experience of the entity in the present the solemnity of the closing day, the closing of the activities of individuals, or those that may proclaim the setting out upon new endeavors or new adventures in any given activity.

17. And there is the innate desire on the part of the entity to be wished well, or upon meeting or upon leaving individuals the giving of a word of blessing or a word of encouragement; for these from those experiences become as innate portions of the entity's activities.

18. Before that we find the entity was in the periods or sojourns during the activities in what is now the French, or French and Spanish land; during those periods when there were the gatherings of many for the preparations for the Crusades that became as influences or activities in the Holy Land.

19. Hence those things that have a classic nature, or are as emblems of the classic experiences of individuals during that period become as things that are as omens and as a portion of the entity's activities.

20. Hence the entity's neatness, the tidiness. And yet from those experiences in the land then, as Maria Huflensteuben, the entity gained and lost. Gained during those periods when much time was given by self in waiting and in keeping a preparation for those of the home land, and the activities during those periods when the companion and the companion's

319-2 Page 4

activities were in and about and around the land now known as Rouen, closer to the Spanish border. For these in those days were joined as a portion of that over which later much disturbance came about.

21. The entity then in the present finds from those experiences that when there must be decisions made within self, the desire to think alone, the desire to be separate from others in their activities during periods when greater decisions are to be made in its relationships with any expression or period of the entity's activities.

22. The abilities in many directions, as in home caring, those desires and intents about the beautifying of garden, yard, or things that are of the live nature in or about or around such; as plants, animals, activities in horticultural experiences, as they would be termed in the present, become as an innate expression and a manifested activity. And the beauties in such are those that bespeak of innate feelings and activities of the entity.

23. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were the preparations for those activities in which many were dedicating themselves for activities in various fields of endeavor that were being set aside by the various phases of the activities. It was during the correlating of thoughts, truths, the governmental activities, the expressions of the teachings and relationships of groups of various lands as one to another.

24. The entity then was among those who chose rather those activities in which the entity acted rather in the capacity of caring for and advising with those as they prepared themselves.

25. Hence the entity became, as would be termed in the present, one to whom many went for counsel and advice as to their manner of conduct of themselves in the various groups, or ones to which they were being assigned according to their activities in their preparations for service. Or as one that would be termed in the present as an inn keeper in some lands, or in another it would be termed supervisor for those in places where individuals of both sexes were dwelling during their period of study or preparation for activities that were to be a portion of their experience.

26. There the entity gained also, losing only in those experiences as we find that arose from anger becoming a portion of the entity - through those feelings of being one that was misconstrued or not told ALL that pertained to the relationships with individuals in the opposite sex.

27. Hence the wariness of the entity in the present in

319-2 Page 5

dealing with certain types of individuals. Yet those same experiences made for abilities in the entity to judge human nature, not only as to individuals' economic abilities but as to their moral and social relationships as well.

28. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain and how:

29. In those fields of activity in which the entity may deal with problems of various natures; as social service activity, or housing, or real estate, or those things become interesting to the entity.

30. But as from the experience in Egypt, as from those experiences just previous to this in St. Augustine, WE find that those activities in which the entity would be rather as a housekeeper for those who are preparing for definite service or activity, or in those relationships that would make for homes for others, would be the greater fields that would bring for the entity the experience for the application of much that is needed for those developments in those particular conditions that have been experienced and are necessary for development and advancement in; as well as for material gains that may bring for the entity the satisfaction of that the entity undertakes being well done.

31. First, as has been given to many, study to show thyself approved unto that thou hast set and do set in thine experience as thine ideal. Let that ideal ever be rather as those influences that arise from the spiritual purposes in individual lives. And those things that make for manifesting of same in the dealings as one to another.

32. Make, then, thine activity in the moral life, the social life, the spiritual life, as something purposeful in all thy relations.

33. And in so doing ye may make for those expressions in self, that, termed as He gave, ye may "Draw nigh unto Him and He will draw nigh unto thee."

34. Ready for questions.

35. (Q) I desire to make a change in my work. What occupation would you suggest for me at this time? I have thought of the following: Rooming house, hotel work, selling. Would any of these be suitable? (A) A rooming house, or as supervisor. Preferably not in hotel, but in schools or the like.

36. (Q) I am getting hard of hearing in my right ear. Please subscribe for this condition. (A) A catarrhal condition that is causing a prolapsus in the Eustachian tube. This, as we find, might be materially aided with an activity of a treatment through the applications of finger surgery, osteopathically given.

319-2 Page 6

This, as we find, may be had directly from one such as in that profession who may make application of finger surgery.

37. (Q) Please describe my aura. (A) AURAS ARE twofold. That which indicates the physical emanations, and that which indicates the spiritual development. These when they are kept more in accord with the experience of individuals make for the greater unification or purpose and ideal. The aura, then, is the emanation that arises from the very vibratory influences of an individual entity, mentally, spiritually - especially of the spiritual forces. In this entity in the present there is signified a blue and a purple, or a bluish purple; indicating the spirituality, the spiritual seeking that has been as a portion of the entity's experience through the earth. And these may be magnified, not only for greater mental and spiritual development but for the maintaining of a better physical equilibrium.

38. (Q) I would like to develop psychically. Would it be wise for me to push this development? If so, in what way? (A) Rather would we push same through those applications of self to first UNDERSTANDING and study the laws pertaining to the MENTAL and SPIRITUAL phenomena; as manifested in the mental and spiritual experiences of individuals. For these expressions then as psychic forces may be found manifesting themselves through one or the other of the seen forces or influences that make to the material individual an expression of awareness in the individual experience. Whether it takes on the form of an innate consciousness or feeling or vibration or communicative forces that are inspirational in their association and activities in the experience of individuals. But first, as in those things which we have given in Meditation, study to know what to thy mind is dedicating of self's abilities in every way and manner in which they may express themselves to the spiritual forces. Study to know the manner in which the body, the mind, may be purified or may be consecrated, that there may be the greater expression. And we will find that these developments will come NATURALLY of themselves. In their expression, as we find, they will come rather as visions in the ministering to, the listening to, the needs and the activities of others. And in the counsel and the aid the

319-2 Page 7

entity may give to such as seek through these channels for aid to self-expression.

39. (Q) What is my status in my present position? Should I leave this position and seek another? (A) This becomes rather as conflicting to the first desires as indicated in the body-expression of self. As we find, then, the status is rather that, if the entity changes or alters same, there will come new fields for activity. Not those that are made easier in some ways. But changing of thought is to rest the self in one or another direction. So, change of environmental influences makes for the offering of opportunities for expression in various ways and manners. Then a change, as we find, would be the preferable - in those directions as indicated. Follow through those manners or forms that as we have indicated, in the meditating upon that as thou dost set in self as thy ideal. Then choose those fields and work at it!
