Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there is quite a change in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here.
3. There are in the present, and have been for some time, the effects more of "flu" or cold upon the system when the system was weakened by poor eliminations or poisons in the system from poor eliminations, or lack of eliminations.
4. The tendency for a humor in the blood stream from the influence of poor coagulation from used energies, or from the drosses of the system, has caused some portions of the tissue - as in the alimentary canal, as in the organs of the head, the throat, and especially along the Eustachian tubes to form first the effect of irritation, or a humor effect, or a catarrhal condition in form; making for an inclination for poor circulation of the lymph or the superficial circulation through portions of the system.
5. Hence we find these are after effects, as combined with specific conditions left in the system from the effects of cold, congestion, as combined with that tendency for a poor condition in the blood supply.
6. Now as we find, adjustments and the relief of pressures tend to make for an easing in some directions; and, to be sure, when pressures are relieved the blood stream is more prompt and the eliminations are aided.
7. However, as we find, the specific conditions in the Eustachian tubes need consideration and correction; and under the supervision of one such as Woodall - Percy Woodall, [D.O.] Birmingham, who could give two to three treatments for breaking up these conditions and then direct another who may give a GENERAL osteopathic course of treatments, with the consideration of a period of three to four days at a time in between such courses to use an eliminant for the effects of the fruit activity - or during such a course of treatment take a teaspoonful of Eno Salts every morning before breakfast for three to four days, then

leave off for a day or two and then take again - during these periods of the adjustments and treatments.
8. Thus we may find better conditions for this body.
9. Naturally, with the blood stream there tends to be a little temperature INTERNALLY, and a heaviness, dullness, that makes for an aching over the body; not only from the pressures and the ANXIETY within the body-forces themselves but at times from the catarrhal effect through the general forces of the body itself, and the changes in the eliminations and the activities of the glandular forces of the body.
10. Do these as we find and we may bring the better conditions for this body.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Should the colonic irrigations be continued? (A) When necessary. These may be too severe upon the system. Just consider the information that has been given. There are the tendencies for a catarrhal effect. Now, a catarrhal condition is an activity in the mucous membranes and lymph and emunctory circulation through all soft tissue or portions of the body. Colonics at such times, in a colon where such conditions exist that there is poor activity, and poisons in the system, may be good. But as we find, if there is first given these things that will make for an activity from the spleen, the pancreas, the liver, the activity of the gall duct - through the activity of such properties as indicated (the Eno Salts), then the colonic irrigations are more effective. Not only do they cleanse the system but they make for then a purifying. However, when these are taken, it is better to take them yourself than to have someone give them. Use body- temperature water, not cold, not hot, and prepared with salt and soda; the proportions of a level teaspoonful of table salt and half a teaspoonful of baking soda to each quart of water.
