Time of Reading 10:30 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; and, as we find, the attitude mentally of the body is conducive to the betterment of not only the physical forces that disturb the equilibrium but - if the attitude is maintained - there will come for the body many an awakening in the experience of gaining the equilibrium; those experiences that will be worth while.

2. As to the physical disturbances, then, we find that these are results of conditions arising from varied impulses from tissue and organic functioning that have received improper impulses through the disassociation of the radial axis in organic functioning.

3. Or, while not that of the malicious activity in operative forces, some connections or tying of the blood vessel in operation that were in improper position.

4. Hence, there has continued to be an accumulation about scar tissue; periods when the impulses that are brought to portions of the system function rather in indiscriminate manners.

5. Hence we have that of a weakened condition in some phases of the activity through the system, and an unusual impulse of activity in other directions.

6. Hence the menopause period has not only been prolonged but has rather continued to bring impulses for the activity of eliminations through the organs, that should have long since been absorbed in activity in other directions.

7. Hence we find those existent conditions of the continued awareness of a heaviness and a dull pain existent at most periods through the lumbar and sacral area, as well as - when the activity of the body is erect - bringing a pressure upon the bladder and associate organs, as to produce an incoordinate activity on kidneys and the areas of same; with at times those profuse eliminations through the organs of pelvis that produce the irritation, causing pains through the lower limbs, tiredness and an irritation in the general

320-1 Page 2

nervous system; disturbing the organs of assimilation or digestion, the distribution of same, as well as those eliminations through the alimentary canal - bringing at times periods of constipation and an equal reaction as of a diarrhea or diarrheic reaction - at other periods.

8. Then, in meeting the specific conditions in the present, as we find, these may be to a great extent overcome, and through specific applications - and specific adjustments, with the nerve forces and impulses so altered, not only the flow of impulse in nerve ends but the circulation in the veins also altered, or the returns to various portions for eradication of poisons, or the the picking up of renewed life energies - change all these conditions.

9. To be sure, it will require patience and persistence; yet we may find that relief may be brought in part almost immediately for the body.

10. While there will be periods of recurrent distress, there will be the gradual longer periods of maintaining the strength and virility of the body, the activities in every direction being of the natures that are more conducive to the better physical welfare of the body.

11. Then, we would begin in this manner:

12. First, there should be those periods of rest, as well as during such periods making specific applications that will aid in bringing those activities in the system as to RELIEVE these tendencies of heaviness in the abdominal area, and specifically in the organs of the pelvis, relieving those tendencies in the activities of the system in the directions that we have outlined.

13. During such rest periods (which should be taken once or twice a day, lying prone upon the back), at least three times each week make specific applications in this manner:

14. Dip a heavy crash towel in a saturated solution of Epsom Salts and apply over the lumbar and sacral area. Rest on this as long as the heat maintains the relaxing for these portions of the system.

15. Before applying the saturated solution we would rub gently over the area those properties - equal parts - of tincture of myrrh and olive oil. Heat the oil and add the myrrh. For each application there would be required about a teaspoonful of each ingredient.

16. We would also, once or twice each week, have the general manipulations - osteopathically given - over the whole of the body, with SPECIFIC applications made in the lumbar and sacral area - and especially in the coccyx end of the spine, for relaxing GRADUALLY adjusting; but these should come towards the latter portion of the treatments - and there

320-1 Page 3

should be, for the first course, at least fifteen to sixteen treatments.

17. There should also be the use of douches (To two gallons of water add a tablespoonful of Creolin), that may cleanse all the areas of the vagina and organs of pelvis, thus MAINTAINING for same the conditions that will PREVENT reinfections from those discharges in same. We would find also that the activities of the body will be materially aided.

18. It will also be found that at times the medicated packs for the organs of pelvis will be helpful to the body. These we would give PREFERABLY during the second course of manipulations and adjustments osteopathically; and there should be a period of two to three weeks BETWEEN those periods when the osteopathic treatments are taken. Or, a REST period - see?

19. The diet for the body should be well-BALANCED, tending towards alkalinity for the system rather than acid.

20. Ready for questions.

21. Follow these suggestions; do these, and we will find bettered conditions coming for this body.
