Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [321], ... Ave., Tompkinsville, Staten Island, N.Y., and who seeks information, advice and counsel, as to his mental and material affairs. You will give that which will be most helpful to him at this time, and answer the questions he has submitted - as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have those conditions materially and mentally that surround the body of [321].

3. Now, as we find, while there are many conditions in the material and the mental that disturb the body, the close adherence to the line of endeavor in the material affairs will bring for the body the most satisfactory outcome.

4. There should be, however, more serious consideration of putting into order, or into practical use, more of those things or conditions respecting the line of material endeavors that deal with some changes in the manner of the specific work in which the body is usually engaged. For, these ideas - while some are at present but ideas - may be made into practical usage, and thus increase the outcome of the material endeavors in this direction.

5. It will be found that following in the GENERAL line that has been a greater portion of the activity will not make for the interest of the son or the associates, and will not make for the ability for expansion that is their desire; yet WITH the expansions, in the perfecting of these ideas, added to the general line, would make for a more satisfactory outcome and arrangement for all concerned.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Do I understand that it is advisable to remain in my present line of business? [Plumbing] (A) Remain in the present line, but perfect some of the ideas in association and connection with same - that are tentative changes. This would gradually lead to a greater expansion and, no doubt, to a change of surroundings and associations for the younger man, but would make much more

satisfactory arrangements.

8. (Q) Regarding which specific ideas? (A) Those that are related to connections with pipes.

9. (Q) Would my son [...] Jr. be successful in carrying on this business? (A) Be successful in that with the expansions the interest will be greater. With the present conditions we do not find that there is that keen interest in same that would make for the better conditions. But with the expansions, with the perfecting, with the carrying out, WOULD be well.

10. (Q) How are my financial affairs going to come out? (A) This, to be sure, will depend upon the manner in which these are handled, as in connection - especially - with the perfecting of some of these ideas. But with these put in motion (as we find, while there apparently is little for the necessary perfecting, or carrying out of the necessary activities for perfecting, but with these put in motion), as we find, the financial situations would be clarified - see?

11. (Q) Just what would be the first steps towards accomplishing this? (A) To be sure, there must be more of the carrying on of the idea to fruition - or to activity. More experimental activity in same, see?

12. (Q) Will the health of my wife improve? What is the best I can do for her? (A) As we find, there has been done - and is being done that which is for the general best interests of the body, under the existent conditions. With some of the general activities in the material affairs, that give for a better MENTAL reaction for the body (that is, [321] we are speaking of), there will be also that reflected in the general welfare of the wife that will make for continued improvement - see? As for specific conditions that might be an aid, these would best come direct for the individual - see? We would given, then, that under the existent conditions - from all financial, all associations, all connections - it would be better to go forward with more of experimentation in the ideas as related to those that deal with the general lines (It's plumbing, and fixings, and fittings), and these will open for the body a field of operation that will be most satisfactory. Do that.
