Time of Reading ... Street, 9:10 to 9:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [322]. This we have had before.
2. In the present conditions we find there is a disturbance in the eliminations of the body. This, as we find, is produced by those tendencies that have existed in the hepatic circulation, or more specifically the turning of the lymph circulation from the kidneys into the respiratory or the external circulation - or the superficial circulation. Hence those conditions that exist in that portion of the system as indicated by the abrasions.
3. As we find, in meeting the emergencies in the present, it would be well to first use those applications that would tend to ease the irritation to the cuticle, or to those portions of the system where the disturbance causes the irritation; by dusting same with Stearate of Zinc in powder, and Balsam. This combine makes for an easing of irritation.
4. We would take internally small quantities of Sweet Spirits of Nitre; three to five drops twice to three times each day, for sufficient period to start an activity of the kidneys, and to drain the bladder.
5. It is necessary that the diet be those things that are the more easily assimilated, and should be little or no sweets, no stimulations with alcohol content at any period of the application, and not quantities of meat of any nature. These would be, then, rather citrus fruit juices, or fruits of every nature except apples; and the juices and well-cooked vegetables should be in the better part of the diet.
6. These, as we find, would bring the better conditions to the body.
7. As the conditions begin to clear there should be two to six adjustments. These should be specific, as we find, in the 8th and 9th dorsal, in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical, with an ALIGNMENT in the upper dorsal area for the

stimulation to the cardiac plexuses.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Is this condition what is commonly known as shingles? (A) By some it is termed shingles.
10. (Q) Should anything be taken for the eliminations? (A) Small quantity of salts, cream of tartar and sulphur would be well; about half a teaspoonful at each dose - that is, half a teaspoonful at each dose - that is, half a teaspoonful including an equal portion of these three ingredients. This would be well to be taken two or three times a day, until the eliminations begin.
11. (Q) Any further advice for my better welfare? (A) This for the present conditions. Do this, then: Take a few doses of Sweet Spirits of Nitre. Dust the portions or the abrasions on body with Stearate of Zinc Powder with Balsam, see - Johnson's is good - Johnson & Johnson. Take internally the half teaspoonful of the mixture; not of each, but the whole three - sulphur, cream of tartar and Epsom Salts; or a course of Rochelle Salts would be well - for this carries tartar also, and salts and sulphur; this would be taken twice a day, the Rochelle Salts or the other combination. Be mindful also of the diet.
12. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Special Delivery " " Ass'n file Western Union Night Letter Collect, as follows: Take three to five drops Sweet Spirits Nitre twice daily. Dust abrasions with Johnson's Stearate of Zinc Powder with Balsam. Take half teaspoonful Rochelle Salts twice daily. Full information in mail special. - Edgar Cayce - [GD's note: On waking from above rdg., EC said his neuritis was better, of which he had been complaining before dinner. EC had not given a rdg. in the afternoon, as he was suffering with the neuritis, and also was resting up for a trip to Washington, D.C. The reading in A.M. had also been for a skin disorder.
