Time of Reading ... Street, 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have those conditions that surround the body, [322], and those things that have prevented recuperation - or that still produce the disturbing factors in the physical reactions.

2. As we find, there has not been the ready response, through not so much the non-activity in making the applications or the adjustments, but rather that the humor in the blood supply and the consciousnesses of the activities in the physical forces of the body have not reacted as they should to the conditions that were administered.

3. We would use properties combined as a blood purifier, as something that would act - the active principles or the life in same - upon the organs; as the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, the intestinal system, and arouse the activities. Extract Cascara Sagrada..........1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb...................2 ounces, Paddiphillum, NOT Podophyllum*..............1/2 grain, Simple Syrup.......................2 ounces. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, which would be a teaspoonful every three hours until there is a response to same through the alimentary canal. THEN take it only enough to keep the eliminations through the alimentary canal; about twice each day. Sufficient to keep eliminations; at least two stools each day. * [10/29/34 A.M. EC was asked to spell above paddiphillum. GD spelled it as given in the ck. rdg., sending it on, after holding it a day to make sure. EC seemed irritated that it should be questioned: "We didn't say it was castor oil, vanilla bean, or anything else; we called it what's its name!" He also changed the simple syrup prescribed from one

ounce to two ounces.]

4. Also, to rid the body of the abrasions or the rash, or the prickly pin-stabbing pains over portions of the system, around the abdomen and the like, we would prepare a solution to be applied externally, as this: Oil of Sassafras...................1 dram, Tincture of Laudanum.............1/2 ounce, Spirits of Camphor.................1 ounce, Glycerine..........................1 ounce, Distilled Water....................6 ounces. Naturally, the oil and glycerine will tend to separate with water, see? yet these shaken together with the spirits of camphor and laudanum and the alcohol in each of these will tend to make the molecules of same break when shaken together. Saturate a tuft of cotton with this, as it is shaken together, and dab over those places - about twice each day - where the abrasions are shown.

5. Then dust over this the Stearate of Zinc with the Balsam; which we find is made - or combined - by Johnson & Johnson. Or we may obtain this combination in the older concern, Eimer & Amend - that has had same combined heretofore, see?

6. The diet we would not change a very great deal, so long as it responds to the proper nourishment for the body.

7. The corrections in the cerebrospinal system we would leave off in the present, but take same about twice a week. Let the whole of the spine respond in same.

8. As to the magnetic treatments, we would apply these rather as passes - made with both hands, you see, front and back; and the application to the drainages in the neck and head, you see, on either side - front and back. The left hand would be placed on the frontal portion of the head, on the forehead; and the right hand of the applicator would be on the base of the brain - or at the two heavy ganglia that come to the head from the lower portion of the spine or body. These should be continued each time until there is felt that the drainages have begun.

9. In the matter of stimulations, these are not to be too much; yet the irritation that would be caused by wholly abstaining in the present would be more irritating than these taken in moderation.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What will relieve disturbed sleep with pain during night? (A) The passes, and the removing of the irritation as we have indicated, will aid the sleep more than anything.

12. (Q) Should smoking be stopped?

322-5 Page 3

(A) As indicated, to leave off entirely would be to produce an irritation that would be harmful rather than helpful. Moderations. If we will make these applications, as we find, there WILL be such an arousing as to make for a response.

13. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Special Delivery " " Ass'n file
