Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body & enquiring mind, seeking further information, advice and guidance, as to his physical, mental and material well-being. Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [323], and those conditions in the physical, the mental, and material welfare; also those conditions that are as problems in the body carrying out those suggestions that have been given respecting the improvement or correction of conditions that disturb the physical body.

2. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) As I cannot afford the light treatments prescribed, what else can I do to get well? (A) In considering the applications, there has been given, as we find, those conditions that would produce for the body the better improvement. Then, in meeting the circumstances that preclude the idea of following those suggestions, we would give the following as an alternative in the present conditions: First, we would have prepared the belt that will aid in maintaining the proper position of the stomach or the digestive organ. This we would have fitted preferably by one - through mechano-therapy or an orthopedic surgeon - of the osteopathic school; such an one as Day - who may be found in the Brooklyn list or phone book, or may be reached through some of the members of this group. [EC wrote him later he thought D. J. Daley, D.O. was meant.] This of itself would necessitate that some adjustments occasionally be made for the body's correcting of this condition, see? that is, not the correcting of the appliance but of conditions in the cerebrospinal system. We would also use the Saffron tea as a portion of the drinking water. Have this prepared so that at least two or

three times each day a glassful of it would be taken; preferably in the mornings before food is taken and in evenings before retiring. It would be made in this manner: Put 1/2 dram of Saffron to 16 ounces of water and let this steep as tea for five to ten minutes, depending upon how hot the water is when it is poured into same. This may be drawn off, kept in a cool place, and will last for one or two days, see? We will find that the diet which has been suggested may be adhered to. When these applications, then, have been followed for some time we may take occasionally the ultra violet ray treatments (leaving off the Infra Red, if this is too expensive at the present time). These taken once a month will be most beneficial. The above outline would be given as an alternative.

4. (Q) What can I do to overcome the peculiar weak spells that occur so often lately? (A) Do this, as we have been giving. These are because of the assimilations of the foods, and that the emptying of the stomach takes place - with less fermentation.

5. (Q) Any particular kind of Saffron? (A) The American Saffron will be alright. It would be well, too, at times that such a digestant be taken as found in BiSoDol. When this is taken, take a level teaspoonful after the meal - when there is any uncomfortable feeling felt, in fifteen to twenty minutes after the meal, see? but this does not take the place of the Saffron that would be taken before retiring.

6. (Q) What can I do to overcome my underweight condition of long standing? (A) So adjust the conditions in the general physical welfare - PHYSICAL body, as well as the mental body, as to be able to build more resistance in the general physical system; and we will overcome the tendency towards anemia, hence build up the weight of the body.

7. (Q) How often will it be necessary for adjustments? (A) This had best be judged by the one who makes the fitting, and who makes the examinations for the fitting of the belt. As we would give, once a week - oftener if possible; or twice a month, oftener if possible.

8. (Q) As my divorce case is still pending in the courts at ..., Penna., would I be able to get my wife to withdraw her testimony and allow me to have the divorce if I wrote her a letter along these lines? (A) This is possible, but - as we find - there must be, as we have given, quite a different attitude within self - inner self - before this can be written in that vein, or with that impelling necessary convincing manner, for the bettering of the conditions of all concerned.

9. (Q) Any other advice for the body? (A) Be true to self's convictions. And have convictions! That is, know within self what is desired to be accomplished in the present experience. For the betterment of this understanding, analyze self; not only mentally, but in meditation write down in two columns the answers to these questions: Under one heading, WHAT I BELIEVE; under the other, WHAT I WOULD ACCOMPLISH AT THIS TIME. Do not do this at once, or all at once, but for several days review that which may be written from time to time. Make erasures, to be sure! for many will appear in self! For, know this: To know the truth is to make you free! Truth is as Life, a GROWING consciousness in self.
