1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions relative to this body that I will ask you.

2. EC: Now, we find the physical conditions in this body somewhat improved in many ways from that as we have had before, yet there are still some of the same conditions existent in the body as we have had before.

3. Now, these are the conditions as we have them at this present time, Mrs. [325], we are speaking of: First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find slow in circulation and an unequalized circulation, with at times poor eliminations. In the blood element itself there is that show of that being carried in the system that should be eliminated through dross portions of the system, and with the continual adding to the system that necessary to produce the flushing of the intestinal tract, without reducing or relieving the trouble that produces this condition, causes much of the trouble as is seen in portions of the body.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the system somewhat improved from that as we have had before, due as much to the mental conditions as to the physical, and bettered in the mental effect as is produced through sympathetic system than through the physical conditions in body, for in those portions where the depressions in the cerebrospinal centers give the incentive for the functioning through the system, these still show where the impingements produce the strain, especially when eliminations are bad in the system. Such as we have in the right side and in shoulder and arm. [Neuritis]. While that in the forearm is of the nature of the strain from the condition in elbow [previously strained ligament], which needs local conditions.

6. When the troubles come, bathe same in saturated solution of Epsom Salts and apply hot packs of heated salt (damp). This we find will bring relief to these portions.

7. Well, too, were this occasionally treated in this manner,

that we may strengthen the tissue and increase the glucose in the centers as to form the perfect connection:

8. Bathe same in pure apple vinegar and apply the salt, or make solution (saturated) of apple vinegar and salt and massage same into the elbow and shoulder. This we find will gradually relieve this condition. Do that in the upper dorsal and in the lumbar regions, where there is strain on the whole cerebrospinal system (as has been assisted by the vibrations at times applied).

9. Well that the vibrations of the masseuse or deep manipulation of the osteopath be applied in these portions of body. We would find relief and rest for the body. These preferably should be taken in the evening, that the body may rest in normal sleep, for the vibrations are those of the nature that create the unequalized functioning of the organs, without organic conditions, yet producing the circulation in such a manner as to cause impediment in elimination, and overtaxing the excretory system, turning then to that of the various manners of elimination that brings the distresses to the body.

10. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS PROPER, we find the whole system shows the effect of this condition in the system, and the organs attempting to create eliminations in their proper manner.

11. Then, to bring about the better normal condition for the body, would be using the local conditions for arm and shoulder and side, with the manipulation and massage for the system to adjust same, keeping those eliminations for the system as the body finds necessary through keeping the alimentary canal open. Better that this be so equalized through the manipulation and adjustments necessary in ligament and tissue and in plexuses that are impinged, that the system may function nominal. Do that.

12. (Q) What diet should the body follow? (A) Not high seasoned foods, but those that the system calls for. Not too much acid, except when the system craves, or the body feels such is necessary for the correct eliminations.

13. (Q) Should the body walk for exercise? (A) Best the body rest rather than walk for exercise. Exercising in the open without too much walking, save sufficient to keep the normal effects of the lower extremities exercising.

14. (Q) Is there any organic heart trouble? (A) No. Those conditions as we have described that impede the condition of the circulation. This effects the heart and not an organic condition.

15. (Q) What causes the bitter taste in the mouth and what will relieve same? (A) Produced, as has been given, by the improper eliminations taking place in the system, and the reverse, as it were, of circulation when digestion is taking place. An over secretion of gastric juices in the system, and the belching of same producing taste in the mouth. Eliminations through their proper channels will relieve this condition. Hence the deep manipulations necessary for the system at the present time, and the greater amount of exercise for the body given through these manipulations. Be well that these should be taken every other day, until at least sixteen to eighteen have been taken.

16. (Q) What will relieve the pain in the feet? (A) This, as we see, is produced from poor eliminations through the system, and the impaired circulation. Where we have these excesses of the cuticle in this portion of the body [callouses?], well if these were bathed occasionally in saturated solution of Sal-Soda. Not Bicarbonate, Sal-Soda. This, as we see, will gradually correct this portion and will relieve the strain on the body. Have this as warm as the body can stand when the baths are taken, or when feet are soaked in same, rubbing same along the limbs to the knees.

17. (Q) Why does the vibrator cause rush of blood to head? (A) Use the vibrations now as we have given.

18. We are through for the present.
