1. [257]: Now you will have the body of [325] who is in Apt. 11-F, 180 Riverside Drive, New York City. We will ask you questions for our guidance.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [325]. This we have had before. Some of those conditions, as has been given, have been applied and some apparently do not coordinate with the conditions in system or irritation is felt. This may be expected when segregation is being attempted in the system through the accumulations from activity of an over-abundant or an abundance of oxygen for the blood stream but this should not be diminished [the Animated Ash?] but little in quantity and should be given consistently.
3. In the application of the factor to act with the respiratory system, this good, provided, and the reaction good, provided there is not more cold taken by the body, [325]; about too much, or the strength being used too much. For naturally there is an abundant activity of the respiratory system especially in the capillaries. These, however, will be found beneficial and cause sweats to occur from same; this is good rather than bad when these are not allowed to become as a means of more cold or congestion. Bathe the body often with lukewarm water in mornings and evenings. This will rest the body also and not tax the vitality. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Did the treatment itself cause severe pain in shoulder and liver this morning? (A) The activity of the body, and then with the response of that given combined, caused the pain.
5. (Q) Should body have taken the doctor's sedative to relieve the pain or was the Calcidin sufficient? (A) Calcidin sufficient at the present time. When the pain becomes too severe, take the sedative but it will be necessary to increase the eliminations but do not make same of such a nature as to cause too great a strain on the assimilative system, for new vitality is most necessary.
6. (Q) Are the cathartics too strong that the body now takes?
325-33 Page 2
(A) They tend to make too much for the reduction of the stimuli of assimilation.
7. (Q) What medicine should body take for proper eliminations? (A) These would be well to alter from time to time. The better at the present will be that of olive oil.
8. (Q) Should we continue the Epsom Salts Packs and the home liver pack? [Castor Oil Packs] (A) These assist greatly in elimination and would be well to be used at times.
9. (Q) Which eased the back this morning? the salt packs or the mustard plaster? (A) The mustard plaster.
10. (Q) Should they be used again when necessary? (A) May be used when necessary. Any counter-irritant to an active force in the vital forces of the system, as congestion in liver or pain in portions of the system, tends to aid in increasing the circulation through that portion of the organism to relieve the pain. Follow those suggestions as we have given. Keep the body as quiet. Keep those of the food values that will produce stimuli for the blood supply especially to gain more vitamin, more vitality. We find the better conditions will thus come for this body, [325].
11. We are through for the present.
