1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Now, we find while there have been those activities that have caused worriment, and an overexertion of the body, in many ways the conditions are very good.

2. In the activities in the system of those things that have and do cause the more anxiety, on account of the effect it produces upon the general system - where there is seen conditions or signs of the over-activity bringing about some reviving of the active forces in same; we would find it would be well to increase the amount of the ash - very small, to be sure, not more than an eighth or sixteenth of a grain. Of course, this may be overdone, as may the light appliance be overdone. Be sure there is at least a full dose in the system twenty to thirty minutes before the ultra-violet is applied to the body, but the ultra-violet applied to the cerebrospinal opposite the affected portions, rather than direct.

3. We would find it would be well to use this as an ointment under and about those portions that show signs of activity:

4. Take one ounce of Iodex salve, or ointment, and to this add one-quarter grain of the animated or activated ash, THOROUGHLY mixing it in same. Do not just work over once, but work over THOROUGHLY - with a paddle, or mortice and pestle, for the mixing of ingredients - thirty-two to sixty-four times, so that it is THOROUGHLY mixed! Then apply a small quantity; not massaging so as to produce irritation, but so that it may be absorbed by the system about those portions showing the effects of the conditions. We will find this will relieve, though it may produce a burning for the first application, this will be found to be allayed when the next is made.

5. Keep the general conditions of the system as quiet as possible, and we will find it much better for the body to keep in the open as much as possible without mental or physical exertion. As the coming weather becomes better,

these will be much better conditions for the body than housed too much. The more oxygen as may be taken by the body the better will that oxidization necessary, with the applications made, take place.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Shall I have pad taken off of right breast? (A) Only when necessary for the applications as has been given, see? If it causes a break, or produces running from same, well that it be dressed and then replaced - see? Do not apply the ointments directly to opened places, but to swollen tissues - see?

8. (Q) In taking the ash, should a greater quantity be taken at a time, or take more doses? (A) Taken at a time, so that the effects as had from the light rays are more active in system, to cut down the action of the humor and the tissue as supplies to those portions of the system - but apply the rays to the cerebrospinal and not direct to the abrasions or exposures of the body where abrasions have occurred.

9. (Q) Shall I move over to my daughter [459]'s house, when lease expires, or remain in N.Y.? (A) As we would find, there would be much better surroundings, provided PROVISIONS are made for those whom the body depends upon, and who depend much upon the counsel of the body, to be kept close to the body; then it would be well to move; otherwise, not so good.

10. (Q) Please advise just what is best for me to do regarding everything under the circumstances. (A) As has been outlined, these for the physical, these for the surroundings - as has been given - would be the better, taking all conditions into considerations; for we will find the physical outlook bettered.
