Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [325].

2. There is little change in the general condition from that when we last had same here.

3. As we find, those conditions that have been applied should be, will be, the better applications - as we have indicated.

4. It would be well, for the weakness and for the making of strength, that there be the rubs with the Olive Oil over the back, across the abdomen. This being absorbed by the body will strengthen same. This may be done once, twice, three times a day; this especially over the lower portion of the abdomen and the spine will make for greater absorption and be helpful to the body.

5. The heat for the feet, as indicated, will make for easing those tendencies for the nerve reactions that distress the body or that make for pressures through the area about the heart. If these are rubbed from the knees down it will make for helpfulness, with the hot applications also.

6. The rest we would keep such as indicated; having the manipulations at least every other day - that is, the adjustments osteopathically; oftener when necessary. These will aid in quieting the body, and will make for the abilities of greater assimilation.

7. In the diets, do not overcrowd. Better that one teaspoonful be given in three or four doses than attempt to take a teaspoonful even at a time; for just the sips at the time will make for better activities through the system, with whatever may be given.

8. (Q) As the gentle massage does not put the body to sleep, what can you give as a sedative that will not affect the stomach or heart? (A) This, as we find, may best be given under the direction of physician in charge. But as we find, the hypnotic rather

than the narcotic derivative would be preferable for the body. Luminal, as we find, would be most in accord or in keeping with the general conditions; though those derivatives such as codeine or the morphia are well. But the Luminal would be less upsetting to the assimilating system.

9. (Q) Who would be the best physician? (A) Any physician who has the authority and the right to give it!

10. (Q) What should be done for the heart when it is sluggish or when it is overactive? (A) As given, the feet!

11. (Q) What is the progress of the X-Ray treatment? (A) The body is still suffering from the reaction set up by the X-Ray's application upon the body, and it should be two to three weeks before any other treatment would be administered - if then. Necessity, then, demands that there be quiet, and the stimulations in every manner as indicated. Do not overdo it nor overcrowd, but with the rest - that is, the non-activity - these would bring their general reaction.

12. (Q) Is the physical body making any progress towards gaining the proper strength? (A) Slowly.

13. (Q) Should the body be alarmed about the swelling in the legs? (A) Not alarmed, provided there is kept the proper activity for the kidneys. As we find, it would be very beneficial - AFTER the attempts to eat the meals, or after the liquid diets are taken - to take the Alcaroid AS an active force to make for the chyle reaction in digestion, keeping the food values down, being taken in such a manner as to be absorbed and to act upon the alimentary canal as well as the kidneys. This would be taken after the meals; about a third or less of a teaspoonful - or just a bit on the tip of the spoon; this first dissolved in a small quantity of water, then about half a glass of water added - and this sipped; not just drunk all at once, but sipped - if kept thoroughly dissolved.

14. (Q) Should the whiskey be burned out of the liquor used? (A) It is then more strengthening and less exciting to the soft tissue or the lymph activity in digestion.

15. (Q) Are the kidneys being flushed enough? (A) As indicated; not only would the Alcaroid help the

digestive forces but kidneys also, indicating that there are times when the non-activity is evidenced by the heaviness there. For, as is understood, sedatives make for slowing of the whole of the eliminations, whether in the alimentary canal, the respiratory system, the hepatic circulation, or how. Hence it is necessary that there be kept a balance in the rest of the system without forming blocks.

16. (Q) Is Dr. Dobbins giving the right treatments? (A) These, as we find, are very, very good.

17. (Q) Are the lungs and other parts of the body draining properly? (A) At most times.

18. (Q) Should the breast drain outwardly? (A) To be sure, best outwardly than internally! However, with the use of the Iodex-Ash ointment and the Plantain, gradually this drainage should be prevented.

19. (Q) How often should the Ash be applied? (A) The Ash-Iodex ointment would be applied at least every day. The Ash itself taken internally with the light applied would be one-eighth grain (not more) about twice a day.

20. (Q) Is Kugelmass's medicine upsetting the nerves of the stomach? [Kugelmass, M.D.] (A) Upsetting.

21. (Q) Should it be given any more? (A) Let this be determined by the body itself.

22. (Q) Would it be well for the body to use a sedative to sleep continually for forty-eight hours? (A) Too hard upon the heart; it would cause a block.

23. (Q) Is there anything [daughter [459]] can do to help the body? (A) Make the application of those things suggested, in the gentle manner; very well.

24. (Q) How has the previous nursing affected her? (A) Fair.

25. (Q) Any other suggestions? (A) We would follow very closely those outlines indicated for the better conditions.

26. (Q) Is the gold filling causing bitterness in mouth? (A) The absorption of same naturally that comes from toxic forces to those portions of the head and throat is a contributory cause.

27. (Q) What other factors cause the bitterness? (A) The eliminations.

28. (Q) Any suggestions for overcoming this, besides those given? (A) This is a natural consequence from the very nature of the tumorous forces that have become more active in the system. Hence the necessity for keeping the eliminations

somewhat above normal or towards an excess. It would be well to occasionally cleanse the lower bowel with the enema; using a soda solution in the first water and an alkalin antiseptic in the last water following same.

29. (Q) Is the Veroculate good for her liver? (A) This is very well, but it's rather hard on the system.

30. (Q) What does the Extralin do for the liver? (A) It's rather as a laxative to the activity of the gall ducts.

31. (Q) Which should be used? (A) As we find, with using the Alcaroid, the Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets would be preferable to either.

32. (Q) How often should these tablets be taken? (A) This depends upon the activity of the liver and the evacuations through the alimentary canal. As we find, however, it would be well to give these in periods; that is, two tablets - one in the morning and one in the evening for two to three days; then leave off for two or three days, if the reaction comes.

33. (Q) Is the liver enlarged? (A) To some extent. It's the natural condition attempting, through the system, to take care of the conditions created by the activities of the excretory and secretive functioning. Doing these conditions, as we find, will be the better.

34. (Q) Is the tightness across the stomach caused from the enlarged liver? (A) Not altogether; some contributory causes are much from the activities of the general system attempting to adjust itself; and pressures made upon the transverse and descending colon portion.

35. (Q) How long will it take the system to adjust itself? (A) Be prepared for most any condition or emergency that may arise.

36. (Q) Should the body be moved? (A) Not so!
