Time of Reading ... Ave., 11:20 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [326]; this we have had before.
2. Much of those conditions as we have had before are disturbing the body again, but from a very much more weakened condition; and the lack of activity through the eliminations, the congestion through the liver, and the lack of the oxidization and a depleted blood stream, make for more disturbing conditions to be reckoned with in the present.
3. As we find, we would apply to the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, the 3rd and 4th cervical, equal combination (a combination of EQUAL portions) of Laudanum and Aconite. The deposits of the poppy in the Laudanum are for the relief, and the Aconite is for the destructive forces in the activity of the muscular reactions. Then apply Salt Heat, heavy salt bags of heat over the area.
4. At the same time use the Radio-Active Appliance as a distributor of the circulation from that as set up by this counter-irritation and palliative action.
5. Thus we should find relief from the nerve forces.
6. For the activity of the liver and for the better circulation, we need not so much of that which neutralizes the hydrochloric reaction but that which is more of a digestal; or equal portions of the Milk of Bismuth and Elixir of Lactated Pepsin - about a teaspoonful of the combination in half a glass of water once each day.
7. These will make for the better absorption of poisons that will be attempted to be eliminated by the setting up of a better circulation.
8. Then those forces that make for better eliminations:
9. Rather than cathartics in the present, use warm - not hot, not cold, but body temperature - enemas; with salt and soda in same.
10. In the matter of the diet, keep well in line with that

which will give strength to the body yet is easily assimilated. Preferably the semi-liquid or liquid foods. Beef juices, malted milks. Not raw milk but malted milk with egg. Give same at least twice a day, and in one period put at least a teaspoonful to two teaspoonsful of Spirits Frumenti in a glass of the malted milk. Beat together the whiskey and egg and add in the milk, see?
11. These as we find will bring the better conditions.
12. If there is the relief from the head and face and neck, the reaction for a better condition in or through the digestive forces, in two or three days take once in the morning, once in the evening, an Alophen pellet; that will make for an activity with the liver. These will carry sufficient stimuli to the heart's activity to be better than a greater activity upon the mucous membranes being excited to activity.
13. The condition in the liver is tending to that of a drying, but not swelling - save in one portion of same.
14. Hence the necessity of keeping the assimilating forces that do not require too great an activity through portions of the gall duct and the reactions from the spleen and pancreas.
15. Do these for the present, and we would find better condition of this body, [326].
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Is Alka-Seltzer helpful or harmful to me? (A) In the present, as may be indicated by too much of an alkalizing, rather tending to be harmful. As an allaying, we would find Pyrosan and Salicon as those that would not only relieve pain but these as combined are better alkalizers and do not carry the sedimentary conditions that are hard upon the activity of the lymph circulation through the lacteals' activity. For the Sodium Salicylate, while an anaesthesia in a manner to the mucous membranes, does leave a sedimentary condition - for such a condition as with this body - in the gall duct and the area through which the activities of the lymph for the assimilations become active. Leave these off for this body. If the Salicon is to be taken, one tablet may be taken every three or four hours to keep the body quiet. If the Pyrosan is to be taken, this would not be taken oftener than once a day. But the absorbent and the activity with the lacteals, as has been indicated, is preferable to even the Pyrosan - if the enemas are used. Do as has been indicated.
