Time of Reading ... Ave., 4:40 to 5:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [330].
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functionings of the body. In part these are of a specific nature.
3. The conditions that have been apparent, as we find, are the result of conditions rather than the cause of conditions.
4. While we find there are disturbances throughout the system that make for indications of disturbances, here, there, in the circulation, in the nervous system, in the reaction as produced in functioning organs, yet the SPECIFICS - as we find are from those infectious forces that arise from conditions of the nature of an adhesion in the intestinal tract.
5. And this produces, then, those toxic poisons that arise in the system, disturbing the heart's action to a greater or lesser degree, producing excruciating pains in the muscles and tendons - especially of the extremities and, the more often, in the lower limbs.
6. While there are times that through the hips, through the back, in the neck, shoulders and arms, there are reflexes of the same character or nature, yet not as excruciating as those that come in knee (or under knee), then in the calf, and in the tendons of the portions of extremities themselves.
7. Then these conditions, as we find, are produced in the system:
8. In the circulation there is the poor assimilation and distribution; hence irregularity at times in pulsation, though the condition arises from specifics; as seen, the toxic forces being absorbed through the circulation, the condition is distributed, even though there are specific portions that suffer.
9. In the digestive forces there is produced indigestion,
330-1 Page 2
and irregularity of the peristaltic movement of the intestinal system; pains of minor nature, and irregularity in the kidneys and in the activity of the bladder itself.
10. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, we find that the following manner would be the better:
11. First, we would have colonic irrigations - high irrigations, see?
12. In all of the high irrigations there should be properties carried of an antiseptic nature in the system itself; and the tendency of these properties should be towards the alkalin - in the enema, high enema, see?
13. So, throughout the whole operation of the irrigations there should be used Glyco-Thymoline as an antiseptic solution.
14. And into the last waters used at each irrigation there should be stirred the properties of Petrolagar (the Alkalin character, or the Non-Acid Petrolagar).
15. In the beginning we would take two of such enemas in the first week.
16. We would also have a SWEAT bath - cabinet sweat bath; following this with the salt rub and finishing with the alcohol rub for closing the pores of the skin.
17. Be mindful that the diet is adhered to for at least sufficient period to produce full alkalinity in the system. This would be an outline for the proper diet:
18. Mornings - citrus fruits, as oranges or grapefruit, or lemon juices. Following same there may be taken a coddled egg (but do not use the white of the egg, only the yolk), dry toast and some cereal drink.
19. Occasionally there may be taken whole wheat, buckwheat, or cakes of some nature - OCCASIONALLY.
20. Noons - preferably fruit juices, or fruits and their juices, or vegetable juices - which may combine any or all of these, but should be well prepared, or well cooked, see?
21. Evenings - a well-balanced vegetable diet.
22. After the evening meal there should be taken, for at least two to three weeks, a level teaspoonful of AL-CAROID as an aid to producing better stability in the gastric forces of the intestinal system.
23. To be sure, when the body comes from the sweat bath (which should be taken at least once a week, until the pain is removed and the condition aided), there should be the thorough massage, more of the Swedish massage or neuropathic massage than corrections - see? For, the corrections will be made by the manipulations of the intestines, aided with the dilating of same, through the use of the enemas.
24. After the first two enemas, or irrigations, have been
330-1 Page 3
taken (during the first week), then one would be taken each week following until four more are taken. Then they may be extended farther, or taken farther apart.
25. Do this, and we will find we will correct many of those conditions in the nervous system, in the blood supply, in the inability to rest, the inability to produce the resistive forces within the activities of the body.
26. These treatments, we find, will also aid in those disturbances that come at times to the auditory forces of the body.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) How much Petrolagar and how much Glyco-Thymoline should be used? (A) The Glyco-Thymoline should be used through the whole operation, you see, in the proportion of a tablespoonful to each gallon of water used - and there should be used as much as three or four gallons, of course, especially in the first irrigations. The Petrolagar would be used only towards the last, or in the last gallon put two tablespoonsful of the Alkalin Petrolagar. Of course, it will be necessary that this be kept stirred in the water (and the water should be tepid), so that it may not coagulate or settle too soon, see?
29. (Q) What produced the adhesion in the intestines? (A) This was produced from an injury. Do these. We will bring the better conditions for [330].
