1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [331], present in this room. Now, we find - while there are disturbing factors in the physical forces of the body, the greater aid will be making for corrections that will prevent greater distresses coming in the physical forces of the body later on; for while the disorders are apparently minor at present, will these not [if these will not] be corrected must later bring distresses that would be hard to combat.
2. These conditions, we find, are those of what may be termed a partial specific nature, while the disorders or the effects come from a specific condition.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [331] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find sufficient in quantity; in the quality and its pressures - these vary according to the amount of disorder or distress that is produced in the system from other causes, but it is through this disorder that exists in the circulation at times that makes for those conditions where parts or portions of body, in the exterior, become irritated - or cold and hot spots on body; tendency for sleeplessness or insomnia, or melancholia. These are the effects of a disturbed circulation, as well as from the nervous disorder that is seen in the nervous system.
5. While the nerves have much to do with the distresses that are produced, from nervous debilitation that comes - easily overtaxed, easily at times upset (and these at other times may be termed the strong points in the body's make-up, when it becomes NECESSARY) - but these are of deeper-seated conditions, that bring these to the surface.
6. The conditions, then, in the nerve system - as we find - aiding the circulation to become disordered, and producing the nervous debilitation, or the weakened condition as felt through the body - come through or from toxins that form in the system, from conditions existent in the colon itself. Hence the disturbance that is seen in proper eliminations
331-1 Page 2
from the body. While these may be carried on in SEEMINGLY sufficient manner to meet the needs, the dregs or the conditions that form in portions of the colon itself - in the ascending, transverse and descending - in the form of toxins from this, we have a form of toxemia, which affects the nerve supply, which affects the blood supply; for the blood being forced through such conditions produces a sluggishness in the hepatic circulation, that reaches such a condition at times of almost revolt. At such periods restlessness, the inability to centralize self on any given object except to find some relief - and yet LITTLE may be said as to what IS just the cause, or even where it hurts except just "all to pieces". This nervous debilitation from toxin pressure over the whole system. Irritations will follow in different portions of the system.
7. The functioning of the organs are disturbed through this same condition, as is at times the loss of appetite - and at other times there is an abnormal appetite or desire for unusual quantities or qualities of foods. These become altogether unsatisfying.
8. In the torpidity of the liver, from toxins - this, with the pressure in the blood supply, is that of which the body should take the greatest warning; for these either must become such as to form in the extremities or in the locomotory centers pressures - from condition in the intestinal tract, or about the covering of same those that will make for rheumatic, neuritic, or arthritic conditions; that is, the inflammation produced in such coverings bring about these conditions, as a result; without the removal, with the continuation of torpidity in liver, it must also bring something of a hardening [cirrhosis] of the liver - unless conditions are corrected.
9. These as we have in the present are merely as the signs of disorders, and the effects are as the system's rebelling against a dis-ease - rather than diseased parts of the physical organism; for the functioning organs themselves are attempting to keep in the proper accord and to meet the disorders as arise from this toxin in the system. These also produce the pressures at times in the kidney area. This may not be as much scared of as the blood pressure and liver area, for the greater weakness lies there. Though the bladder and the kidneys may suffer, they - in the virility and vitality of the body - are more capable of adjusting themselves in THIS particular body, than would be the heart's action or the liver supply; for remember, the blood of the body must pass twice through the liver [rather] than [once] through the other portions of system.

10. In meeting the needs, then, of the conditions, and in making the proper corrections for the body:
11. To the body, a diet would be well - but DO NOT become a faddist on diet! Well that this be given due consideration, but remembering those portions of system to be warned of - then be mindful that those properties that cause disorders there are abstained from, and keep a GENERAL diet - well balanced; bewaring, though, of meats - particularly of hog meats, though bacon - if crisp - may be occasionally taken, when it will aid that stomach disorder that arises at times better than most anything else, even than doses of medicines.
12. The better conditions, or the better way to meet the conditions, would be to have those colonic irrigations for a sufficient period as to not only CLEANSE the system through the area but kept up for sufficient time as to renew the vitality of the system as RELATED to the area, and so stimulate the liver's activity - BY the character of the diet - as to renew the whole virility of the body.
13. These, then, we would take in this manner:
14. The irrigations we would take at least one every ten days, until at least four or five have been taken. Then it would be well to take one every two weeks until eight or ten have been taken.
15. During the period, let the diet be - this as a sample, though this may be altered or changed:
16. Mornings - citrous fruits should be a portion of the meal, but not MIXED; that is, either oranges, grapefruit, lemons, or even the juice of tomatoes may be taken - not as soup, but as juice. In the interim, too, whole wheat toast or the graham or rye toast. A little coffee or milk may be taken.
17. Noon - those preferably of the vegetable nature, with plenty of fruits, but beware of too many apples - though peaches, pears, especially bananas in small quantities WHEN THEY AGREE - do not eat these fruits with the cereals, however - only berries or such, in their season, may be taken with cereals for the good of MOST bodies, and this body particularly.
18. Evenings - if meats are taken they should be of the wild game, fish or such, with the cooked vegetables - but keep with those that grow above the ground - those in the pod are well; lentils, beans, peas - and not too much dependence be put in spinach for the iron; depend more on the fruits for that for the body.
19. These will keep a well balanced condition and clarify the blood supply, enabling the whole system to work in a
331-1 Page 4
normal manner, ridding the body of the torpidity of functioning organs. Do that. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) What causes low blood pressure? (A) This produced from the toxemia in the system, and the effect same is producing in the liver.
21. (Q) What are the causes and cures of low depressed nervous condition? (A) Removal of the toxemia which is forming in the colon itself, and the enlivening of the liver in ITS activity. This best enlivened through the diet, as indicated, allowing the system to adjust itself - for the system can, and does create within itself all necessary either to cure or to sustain the virility of a body. Only when the system becomes so unbalanced as to need outside forces to create a different element of consciousness in the system is it necessary for medicinal properties or medicines for the body.
22. (Q) What causes aching and stiffness in legs, especially when at rest? (A) This toxemia, as is given, forming in those portions of the system that makes pressure in the COVERINGS of first the intestinal tract or area itself, with its associated nerve forces that go to first the locomotories, then to the other portions of the system. This a warning to prevent such conditions arising that have been given.
23. (Q) What is the cause and remedy of overweight? (A) This produced by the tendency of the system, through improper eliminations of the accumulation of forces, as turn to that that makes for avoirdupois. With the creating of the proper eliminations, with the eliminations set up for a normalcy, we will find this - even though the body's appetite will be much bettered - will not produce that character of condition in the body, but go more for strength.
24. (Q) What is cause and remedy for weak memory? (A) This has been described, as to the pressures that produce toxic forces. The forms of toxemia in system are as gas that, inhaled, produces a deadening to whatever portion of the system; first acting upon the mucus membranes or coverings of portions of the body. Hence when we find such conditions affecting the liver area, LOW blood pressure. When these affect an area where there is high blood pressure, it is the pancreas and spleen; while when we find it acting upon those brain centers, it is from the pulsation centers in the sympathetic nervous system - which makes for melancholia, as also of restlessness, sleeplessness, and inertia - tendency to feel when sitting down to rest as if
331-1 Page 5
you'd do anything before you'd get up!
25. (Q) How long will it take to get the body to normal? (A) By the time these courses of the colonics are taken - and the body's activities should be kept, of course, during this period; that is, it would be well for the body to take any setting up exercise - this would be most beneficial. By the time this period is passed, the body should be near normal. Unless other conditions arise, to be sure.
26. (Q) If no colonic instrument available, what could be done? (A) The high enemas may be used, but these will NOT be as effective. If an enema is used, use that known as Tyrrell's elevator - that is the nearest to the colonic, but it is not as effective. These may be obtained at most any drugstore, especially at those of the cooperative stores.
27. (Q) If that is used, should it be more often than the colonic? (A) Be well to take it every other day, if that is used.
28. (Q) Does present work worry patient? (A) At times it does, but with renewed energy or renewed vitality it will be a pleasure!
29. We are through for the present.
