Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks advice and guidance at this time concerning the means for existence for himself and family, the material necessities from the right sources, combining these with the spiritual ideals that have been set, if such a combination is feasible and right, and in the event that such combination is not feasible and right the necessary guidance and advice that will make clear to him the path that he should take to accomplish that adherence to those principles that imbued self to act during that sojourn or experience referred to in the Life Reading given for this entity May 15th, 1933, in which were described the activities of the entity as one of the soldiery of Pilate in the Palestine experience.)

1. EC: We have the entity and those conditions mental, material and financial that confront the body at this time.

2. In giving that which may be helpful to the entity, as considering these experiences of the entity at that period as indicated: The activities that were in order with the position occupied by the entity failed not in SUPPLYING the entity during that experience with the opportunities for expression of the spiritual imports and truths as gained by the mental attributes of the body. Thus we may find that the entity may well take the lesson from that experience, and making the practical application of same in the present bring for self, to self, not only the supplying of the needs of the material conditions, material experiences of self and those about the body, but using those channels, those manners, those means in which the entity has prepared itself in its associations with its fellow man then through same supply the needs of the material man and at the same time find the opportunity of giving, living, being the expression

of the spiritual lessons, truths, imports, that may be the portion of the entity's experience in the present.

3. These, then, be the manners as we find in correlating same with those experiences in that expression as indicated.

4. As to where, to when, in what manner of means: These should be rather the choice of the entity in its activity.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Should this entity continue along the lines of working with metals, salesmanship, etc., as heretofore? (A) This, as indicated, must be a choice of the entity. In whatever field of activity the entity is persuaded within itself that it is best fitted for, for the meeting of the material needs and necessities at this time, THAT field engage in. To say to the entity, "You must not sell cans; you must sell steel," or "You cannot sell steel; you must sell cans," would indicate that the entity's abilities of self-expression were lacking in its associations, its connections with the SOURCE of ALL truth! Just as all truth, all knowledge, all light, is at the hand of EVERY individual. The application of its truth in the experience of an entity must be a PERSONAL application by self.

7. (Q) What location would be best for these activities, if chosen? (A) As indicated, that in which the entity's abilities, associations, offer to the entity the field of activity that is in keeping with that something that must answer WITHIN the inmost being of the entity itself. New York, New Jersey environs; or whatever may be the activity. As to a firm and associations, we find the greater fields would lie in those that have been the associations; or those of more specific natures; as the Whitehead-Hogue, or the Auto Metal Company, or any of these OFFER a channel. Do these suit the entity? There must be something WITHIN that answers, or else the entity is continually either justifying or excusing self at the expense of his OWN development.

8. (Q) Is there any indication that there is to be a change for the better in the influences and activities that surround this entity and that there are opportunities in the making - (A) (Interrupting) There are ALWAYS opportunities! Opportunities are NEVER withdrawn. The USING of same by the individuals, and the applying of them - these make for those things that appear to others to become as good or lucky days

333-6 Page 3

and a fine period when this or that influence is existent. What is the influence? "I WILL by the grace of God do that which IS RIGHT," and stick to it! Not by thine own might nor anyone else's! That thou dost apply may be, and ever is, thine opportunity.

9. (Q) Is it indicated that there should be a complete change of environment to some part of the country distant from N.Y. City and vicinity? (A) That depends upon what is the purpose, aim, desire of the entity. What has ever been the call to those who have put their trust in the Creative Forces, the spiritual activities? Those things that make for 'I will!' The Lord hath called ever, "Use that thou hast in HAND!" And THEN that as necessary for the next step is given thee. Haven't thine experiences in the last few months indicated at least such? Then what hast thou purposed in thine heart and mind and soul to do?

10. (Q) Would it be well for the entity to consider any kind of work with electrical apparatus or equipment, rather than metals? (A) These are very much metals; that is, those things having very much electrical equipment are very much metal! These are only a different phase of the same kind of conditions; or making an application of the knowledge, the understanding, the abilities, the opportunities before self. Whether such is to be chosen or not, this the entity MUST decide. How has it always been set? "There is set before thee life and death, good and eivil. CHOOSE THOU!"

11. (Q) Would Norfolk or vicinity be best considered both from the commercial or business angle as well as from the angle of spiritual development in association with those individuals who are active in the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.? (A) Does the entity depend upon ITSELF and its abilities and its associations with the Creative Forces? Or must it be led by another? These are as a choice. Is Norfolk to be TO the entity, is it TO the entity a call for something? Then depend upon Norfolk! If the entity depends upon the abilities, or that within itself which it has created, then START WHERE YOU ARE!

12. (Q) In view of present environment and conditions, would it be best to pull up stakes and go to Norfolk or vicinity, look for a job in any field to start with, and would this give opportunities for the opening of a Tea Room Luncheonette or Refreshment and Gas Service Station in this locality? (A) If this is the desire, if this is what is wished, then pull up stakes and do it! This MUST be DETERMINED by SELF! It will NOT be given from here that you should hang ANY hope on ANY tree, on ANY place, on ANY thing, save on GOD - and let Him meet thee in self! as to WHAT is the choice to be made, EVER, by Self. Conditions may appear to be at the lowest ebb, but man and his own abilities must ever be eradicated if there will be the opportunity for the Creative Forces, the Creative Energies to work with same. Now: There is set before thee, then, the problem of making the choice as to whether the endeavors of self are to be in line with the preparations thou hast made or not. And the choice as to whether in this place, that place or the other, must be made within self. This does not mean that ye are to be guided by circumstance, by 'hit or miss,' but rather as thou wilt and are being directed within thine inner self. Do that. These should be the answers ever. That choices are made by counsel here or counsel there only makes for confusion within self, oft. Rather meet within thine own self thy Maker, and let the guide come THERE as to what ye shall do. Thou hast seen thou hast heard, thou hast known much as concerning how ye may be led. Join not with unbelievers, yet let thy yeas be yea and thy nays be nay. Be not unequally yoked together with those that make for stumbling in any direction.
