Time of Reading 3:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions that disturb the physical forces and physical functioning of the organs of the body, [338].

2. As we find, these have to do with the functioning of organs, the unbalancing of elements in the physical forces of the body through the assimilations in the system.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [338].

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there are the indications of disturbances in the eliminations, and that there are specific conditions that exist in this direction as related to the hepatic circulation, forming a kind of irritation that makes for a crystallization in the eliminations from kidneys.

5. There are also those effects as shown from fagged nerve system in the form of a strept that makes for inclinations towards hot and cold flushes over the system.

6. Let's understand these conditions as indications, NOT the cause.

7. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find there are conditions that exist as specifics that make for irritation in the nerve system, and with this there are produced disturbances in other portions of the system. This comes from a pressure and a form of female disorder in the pelvic organs. These irritations produce pressures in the area of the secondary lumbar, or in the sacral and lumbar area, producing disturbances with the hepatic circulation, making congestions and accumulations, as shown in the blood supply, especially as related to a form of poison from the crystallizations in improper functioning in the kidney and area about same; so that the nerve reactions are the effects of irritation, rather than the nerve condition being the effect or causing or producing irritation.

338-1 Page 2

8. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, here we find - as indicated - more of conditions that are reflex than of the organic disturbances.

9. Brain forces are good; reflections in same are well.

10. Throat, bronchi and lungs and larynx are very good, save at those periods when the reflex conditions from those nervous disorders make for the easily taking of cold or congestion. This makes for the reaction to the lymph and the emunctory circulation, through the soft tissue of face, throat, head, eyes; all suffer at times. These are reflex only, and are the effect of pressures in the nerve system produced by irritation from the condition existent in the lumbar-sacral, and in the organs of pelvis themselves.

11. Heart's action is near normal, save at those periods when distresses come from those pressures arising from the irritations. These do not come at all periods, or at the periods at all times, yet make for the effect and producing of the discharges in the area that irritate the whole system, or following the periods.

12. As to the action to the digestive system and to the general nervous forces in the central nerve system, this is the irritation produced from the adhering of some portions of the organs that make irritation to the functioning organs in the pelvic area. These unless corrected, as we find, must eventually bring some direct distresses to the nervous system, to the reactions, and - as indicated - will come as specific conditions, producing plethora is some portion of the system in the form of accumulations of drosses to be eliminated through this accumulated center by the act of coagulation, through the functioning of the system in attempt to segregate or separate for the system, forming in sacs, or the formation of irritations to the soft tissues in face, head, or functioning of some portions in the lungs or the heart's action; these becoming more and more irritating.

13. In meeting the needs of the conditions for this body then, as we would find, we would stimulate through manipulations - first osteopathically given - the whole cerebrospinal system, as to make coordinations in all of the areas where the sympathetic and cerebrospinal coordinate in the functioning of the system. At least once a week have SPECIFIC manipulations for those conditions in the lumbar and sacral area, with reference to the reflexes in the lower dorsal area.

14. Following such an adjustment and treatment for the specific condition, given once a week, we would apply first the violet ray over the lumbar and sacral area for five to ten minutes. Occasionally, once to twice a month, we would

338-1 Page 3

apply the Infra Red ray, but when applying use between the red ray and the body the green light or glass, that will take from that portion of the ray itself that which would be destructive to tissue that would replenish or rebuild in the genitive system of the body - see?

15. We would be mindful that the diet is not such as to over stimulate the functioning of the kidneys, nor that supplies too much of the sugar in the way of any stimuli that would produce more or an excess of alcoholic content for the digestive system. At times the stimulation of some kind of spirits of frumenti would be helpful for the body, but not that from foods; that is, not too much sweets, not too much characterization of foods that make an extraordinary amount of the glutens. In the matter of diet, we would outline as this:

16. Mornings - stewed fruits, fresh fruits or the citrus fruits, followed with rice cakes, buckwheat cakes or the like, with little butter, and honey occasionally may be taken but not cane syrups nor of such natures.

17. Noons - rather the vegetables that are of the all green nature, with the fruits, or juices of meats or of vegetables with dried brown bread, with a little fruit juice after same if so desired.

18. Evenings - fish that is broiled or baked, or boiled; meats as of mutton, lamb, beef, chicken, fowl or wild game, any of these may be taken in moderation, with the vegetables that do not over stimulate the functioning of the adrenal glands or those activities to same.

19. In the matter of the drinks, or coffee, tea or milk, we would prefer those of the cereal drinks - as Ovaltine, buttermilk, or those that are prepared from the use of those tablets that cuddle or coddle the milk easily.

20. These would be the lines for the active forces in the digestive system. These we would do.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) Just where should the Infra Red be applied, or what part of body? (A) Lumbar area.

23. (Q) How long at a time? (A) Twenty minutes, at least forty-two inches from the body.

24. (Q) What thought should I hold on going to sleep? (A) THERE WILL BE CREATED IN MY PHYSICAL FORCES THAT NECESSARY FOR ME TO MANIFEST THE BETTER AND BETTER THAT I WORSHIP.

25. (Q) Is the present physical condition caused by an ailment of which the doctors are unaware?

338-1 Page 4

(A) As given, this is developing from those adhesions and pressures in the pelvic organs.

26. (Q) Would it be preferable for me to work in Florida or New York during the coming winter? (A) Florida.

27. (Q) Please give the name of a physician I may consult to carry out these instructions. (A) Daley. [D. J. Daly, D. O., Brooklyn, N.Y.]

28. (Q) Is there any other advice at this time? (A) Commence and let's see how far we will carry it! Then we may give further advice.

29. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self Copy to File " " Mr. [256] [GD's note: Mr. Cayce woke up before Mrs. Cayce gave him the suggestion to wake up. On gaining consciousness he announced that a mosquito had bitten him.]
