1. EC: Now, we find in many respects this body is very good throughout. There are some abnormal conditions and these may be corrected. These we find are specific conditions and affect the nerve system and the functioning of the body in many ways. Some are in the organic conditions. Some are in reflex conditions.

2. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [340] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the body is very good. There is at present a lack of an equilibrium between the red blood and the white blood supply, yet coagulation takes place, and the renewing in used tissue is very good, save when hindered by conditions that affect the nerve branches supplying such at certain cycles.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find the greater troubles in the body at the present time. We find there are specific conditions in the cerebrospinal center that need correction. These we find as the major conditions; the second and third lumbar, the tenth and eleventh dorsals. From this impingement from this floating lesion, one in the dorsal, the impinged nerve branch, and one in the lumbar - the lesion. This in the dorsal we find produces and does produce the disturbance as exists through the pelvis region. This in the dorsal we find produces the condition in the stomach and in the digestive tract. This comes reflexly. Hence do not have at all times the reaction, but with the reaction we have the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexuses involved, both as to their conditions in nerve system and to disturbances in the digestive tract. This also we find produces conditions that affect the kidneys and the bladder at times. This, then, is the cause or the seat of the troubles. In the sympathetic system, where the junction of the cerebrospinal nerve center and the sympathetic nerve plexuses join, near the solar plexus region, we have this shows a distress and disturbance.

340-2 Page 2

Hence the body is easily excited through sympathetic conditions.

5. In the sensory center as forms conjunction with the sympathetic, at the fourth and fifth dorsals, we have reflexes that come to the organs of the sensory system. Hence the conditions that nervously exists in the eye, in the throat at times, the condition of the eye proper in vision being another condition, as we shall see.

6. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces very good. The equalization and equilibrium between the brain and mental, the brain and physical, very good.

7. We find from the subjugation of the sense of touch, of feeling, through the brain forces proper being subjugated, equalization in the circulation has not again reached its equilibrium as yet. It will, and faster with conditions as we shall apply.

8. In the organs of the sensory system, these we find as given. Some other reflex condition from the sympathetic nerve system. In the eye proper we have some strain from the lack of the used forces in eyes being eliminated, or eye strain without the circulation being made sufficient to increase the amount of forces to supply that used in vision. Hence the far astigmatism as occurs.

9. Lungs, throat, larynx, very good, save where sympathetic conditions affect the throat at times. Then we have with the nerve reaction at times over secretions, again a dryness to the throat.

10. In the digestive tract, this we find under the strain and subjugation of the nerve system, for with the hypogastric reflexes from the lack of nutriment supplied the system this produces a contraction. Hence the foods at such times taken into the system apparently do not have sufficient of the juices to perform digestion properly. Hence we have a nerve digestion rather than a nervous indigestion. Not sufficient of the hydrochlorics created in the pyloric end of the stomach. The liver and pancreas under such nerve strain become under the suppressed secretions. Hence a taxing of the intestinal tract below the upper digestion, a tendency toward lack of secretions in the intestines, and the inclination for the body to have foods to remain in system too long, a form of constipation as the body has.

11. In the hepatic circulation, this we have high, for with the hypogastric and pneumogastric both involved at times produce a high circulation. Hence the forming in times back of inflammation in the trunk portions of body, where we have

had the conditions from external forces.

12. RELIEF, then to bring the body to the normal conditions, we would, through osteopathic or chiropractic forces, [She went to Harriet E. Saxmann, D.C.] adjust the conditions to a normalcy in the spine, first taking in the system these properties, that the system may be in the condition to receive the incentives as given by the new tissue and blood supply to the organs as affected.

13. Take this: Tincture of Valerian..............2 ounces, Iodide of Potassium...............3 grains, Bromide of Potassium.............15 grains, Elixia Calasaya...................2 ounces, Elixia of Celerena................1 ounce, Tincture of Capsici...............1 minim. Sufficient simple syrup to make 8 ounces. Shake solution well before dose is taken. The dose would a teaspoonful three times each day. When this has been taken, and the system is cleansed with pure water by taking quantities in the system, then begin with the adjustments, osteopathically or chiropractically.

14. We will find it will only be necessary to take from three to four weeks, taking them every other day. Do that. We will bring this body to its normal functioning, [340].
