1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [340]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, the body being under stress and strain - as well as anxiety - has made for a tendency of congestion through the colon; with alternating pressures upon the general nervous system.

3. We would have the periods of rest necessary for the recuperation, with the addition to the system of those properties that have been indicated in the compound with the Ginseng and the like. [See 340-23 on 9/28/33.]

4. These, with the proper precautions, should very SOON make for that rejuvenation and resuscitation to a great improvement and a near normal reaction through the system.

5. This we would do.

6. We would be mindful, of course, regarding the diet; especially through this hot season. And no NEW potatoes. Be very mindful about corn that is fried; rather use that which is boiled, or boiled and then baked would be preferable.

7. Be careful that there is kept SUFFICIENT of the roughages in the diet, but DO NOT become cranky on the diet question and thus set IN the imaginative and impulsive system such expectancies as to produce a cogental reaction in the digestive forces of the body. Be precautious, but know that the the body ADJUSTS itself readily - unless the imaginative or impulsive system prevents it from doing so.

8. Do that. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is raw sugar in small quantities as well as honey for this body?

340-31 Page 2

(A) No. Honey is more preferable. Beet sugar is not so harmful as the refined cane sugar. Should there be the desire for the sugar, use the BROWN or maple sugars - in small quantities, to be sure.

10. (Q) Would it be well to alternate Soy Bean bread with Whole Wheat? (A) Soy Bean bread is wholesome for certain characters and conditions; provided the body is to be out in the open, very active, fiery or dictatorial, then eat Soy Bean bread! But if it is to remain indoors, with more of the normal TEMPERAMENTAL reactions, leave it off!

11. (Q) Is the raw milk that I am taking now well, or is pasteurized milk better? (A) Pasteurized milk is the more preferable, provided it is pasteurized properly. The raw milk as taken in the present is NOT BAD, but there are some surroundings about its source that are not so good.

12. (Q) Are aluminum cooking vessels a detriment to health? (A) To some; and dependent upon what's cooked in 'em!

13. (Q) Does steam pressure cooking at 15 lb. temperature destroy food value in foods? (A) No. Depends upon the preparation of same, the age, and how long gathered. All of these have their factors in the food values. As it is so well advertised that coffee loses its value in fifteen to twenty to twenty-five days after being roasted, so do foods or vegetables lose their food value after being gathered - in the same proportion in hours as coffee would in days.

14. (Q) In my efforts to be so careful, what caused this upset? (A) Anxiety, overanxiousness; also the heat and strain.

15. (Q) Would a small quantity of wine be a benefit, when retiring? (A) Not when retiring; but about two ounces of red wine in the late afternoon - with black or brown bread - would be very, VERY well. It is strengthening, blood and body building. Let the bread, though, be sour bread; preferable what is ordinarily known as 'Jew bread.'

16. (Q) Please give me any advice that may aid in my better being? (A) As indicated, don't become cranky or supersensitive to to diets and the like. Be NORMAL. DEMAND of the body that it meet the requirements as it is called upon, and the response will come! For, after all, when seriously considering as to thy strength, thy abilities - mentally and physically, from whence is thy strength supplied? As thou havest faith, as thou dost apply same the response
