Time of Reading ... St., 12:05 to 12:15 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., Tenn. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, same place. [Ck. Physical 1055-2 had just been given a few minutes ago for a man at the same address.]
2. We have the body, [340]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there is rather an acute condition of cold or congestion from an unbalancing in the alkalinity of the system. Not by the foods themselves; rather the manner of their combination. For, as indicated, there should not be taken starches and sweets at the same meal, or so much together (That's why that ice cream is so much better than pie, for a body!).
4. Meats or the like should not be taken with starches that grow above the ground. There's quite a variation in the reaction in the physical body, especially where intestinal disturbance has caused the greater part of the inflammation through a body - as indicated in this case, from those conditions that have been formerly described through the intestinal tract itself. Hence potatoes or the peelings of same with meats are much preferable to eating bread with meats, see? Hence they may be combined more together.
5. It would be well, as we find, first, that we take more of the compound that has been indicated for the body through the combinations of Ginseng, the Indian Turnip and the like. Combine this and take as indicated. [See 340-23 on 9/28/33.]
6. Also it would be well to use a combination for the aiding of the circulatory forces through the lungs, the nasal passages, the throat and the general influence through the respiratory system. This would be as an expectorant and as an eliminant, for it will aid also in the activities through the eliminations of the body. Prepare same in this way and manner:
7. To 2 ounces of Distilled Water, add 2 ounces Strained Honey. Let this come to a boil. Take off, while warm, add - in the ORDER named:
340-32 Page 2
Syrup of Rhubarb..................1/2 ounce, Syrup (or the Elixir, but preferably the Syrup) of Wild Cherry..........................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Horehound................1/4 ounce.
8. Cut Balsam of Tolu 1 dram in 2 ounces of GRAIN Alcohol, and add to the solution. This will tend to change the color a great deal and change the whole effect. Shake this together, and when there's the tendency for irritation or tickling in throat, or the tendency for the bad eliminations, we will find that a teaspoonful of this taken will keep down irritation and help a great deal. This is very different from the ordinary cough syrups, in that this - while not acting as an astringent - will act as an alleviation of irritated membranes of the throat, the lungs, the larynx, and the bronchi; changing the activities through the alimentary canal.
9. Also the use of the enemas and the oil - the Usoline or Russian White oil - will aid as a laxative for the body. The Oil taken in small doses is much preferable to gobs of same. Take half a teaspoonful or a teaspoonful three to four times a day; it will keep down the tendencies for the gastric flow that causes disturbance in the intestines. But it'll be necessary that the properties for the INTESTINAL tract be taken regularly.
10. Do that.
11. Massages would be well also; along the spine, extending from the neck or head to the end of the spine. Rub always away from the head on this body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) In case of severe cold such as I have now, when I first take same, what is the first step I should take to correct it? (A) What causes it? Then, just as has been indicated here for this body, in the present. This may not be the same the 3rd of February, when you'll take another one if you don't watch out! for that may be from an entirely different cause! The first step is to start eliminations, start activity of the liver and kidneys; which means by using ANY of those properties that act upon the liver, and not MINERALS! Preferably vegetables! That's the first step to take. Get the kidneys and the liver to act! As to what may be the better to use, it depends upon what is the cause! If it's acid, then an Alkaline. If it's just from congestion or from exposure, it

should be a very well balanced activity and not as to cause too great a flow of the gastric juices; thus opening the pores and producing the way for more cold - as super-alkalinity has done in this particular case.
