1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
3. Conditions as we find are very good in many respects, but those tendencies for the accumulations - or crystallization of activities through the system, from the lack of lymph flow - are still indicated at times; in the joints of the fingers, in the wrist and hand, and at times in the ankle, or the extremities - the superficial and deeper circulation.
4. The better manner of keeping these in check is the use of the Epsom Salts Baths, with the rubs, and the watching of the diet.
5. Take an Epsom Salts bath at least once a month, oftener if there is more trouble caused. Fill the tub as full as you can with water, body-temperature, with at least five to ten pounds of Epsom Salts dissolved in same. Lie in this. Add the hot water if necessary, after lying in same for a while. Stay in this for at least twenty to thirty minutes. During this period massage those areas affected.
6. Then, if there is particular pain in the joints, use the Epsom Salts Packs - such as on the fingers or wrist or the like; a saturated solution of Epsom Salts, hot.
7. Follow each of these - whether the Baths or the Packs - with a Peanut Oil rub.
8. Take Olive Oil internally, or a combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil would be well for this body.
9. These as we find, if done, will keep away the cold and, unless there's overexposure, bring about bettered conditions.
10. For this body, as well as for those associated with same - especially the sister, as we have just indicated - [See 243-35 for sister, which just preceded 340-44. Also above par. must refer also to her husband, Mr. [348]] we would at least once a week have lamb or pig kidneys as a stew. Mix with this yellow corn meal; that is, for the stew portion.
340-44 Page 2
Eat the kidneys as well as the stew portion. A little potato may be used in same, and season quite highly with Cayenne or pod red pepper. Have this at least once a week. This would be good for the body, as well as for the sister.
