1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [341] of ..., Virginia, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [341]. This we have had here before. The dreams, as we see, are the correlation of the physical with the cosmic forces and the subconscious weighing or giving that experience to the body-mind for the development of same. Ready for dream.

3. (Q) Night of October 24 or morning of 25, 1925, at home. "Dreamed of going to a pond with my brother. I saw a great many fish of all sizes swimming about in the water. The bottom of the pond was muddy but the water was clear. Several slimy animals started to crawl up the bank and we threw clods of dirt at them. On seeing a group of what I supposed to be hornets clustered on the side of the bank, I threw a clod at them and told my brother to run. We ran back to the house. There I met [419] and asked him to help me find some cord and hooks so that we might go back and catch some fish." (A) This, as we see, indicates emblematical conditions of the body-mind, presenting then, this as an interpretation and lesson:

Pool, the pool of life, or that before the entity, with all its brightness, in the water as is seen in same.

The fish representing, then, that achievement to which the entity may attain, as does also the slimy animals seen climbing the banks, of which the entity and associate are afraid, as does the hornet, for each represents the element of individual life. And these being overcome with clods presenting that, with the entity remaining in that way tried and true, all obstacles of easy overcoming, see?

Then the seeking of another to secure the fish as seen, that

necessary aid, then, the entity must have to be able to attain that desired in life's pathway. Then the lesson becomes apparent to the entity. Heed.

4. (Q) "Dreamed of being at ..., Kentucky, at home. Two people seemed to be with me. We were watching a dirigible and an airship that were sailing above us but seemed to be in great distress. Suddenly the dirigible spun on its nose and crashed into the ground in the lawn. I heard the cries and groans of the occupants as the ship struck. The two other people and I started towards the wreck but were at first warned back by those who survived. A little later we were called on to help carry the injured ones to the house. The man I carried seemed to have hurt his leg and kept crying not to take his leg off. Later it seemed that I was again at the wreck. I drank something from a bottle and then continued to collect tools, a hammer and other things." (A) In this, again the emblematical conditions of life presented to the entity.

In that of the dirigible and flying machine, those high ideals as are held in the entity's mind, without stability, showing the destructive forces as may come to such without that strength of character in the tried and true ways to be stable, and the assistance as is seen is the call of self to aid self, as it were, in that way the entity would take.

The assistance and the call not to take or remove portion of body, rather that the entity sees in the self conditions that may arise, making this such necessary in the life's work, see? to remove portions of same, unless kept in that straight and narrow way.

The taking from the bottle, rather that necessary, for this represents, then, the water or the assistance of life, presented in that straight and narrow way.

The gathering, then, of tools, that necessary working paraphernalia for the successes the entity would accomplish. The lesson, then, is seen.

5. (Q) "I seemed to be connected with a man in business. We were being asked by some others to raise some money. I said that if anyone could raise it we could. The one who seemed to be my colleague said that he knew the very man to furnish the money. Someone said that he was hard to see. It seemed that we went to see him but do not clearly remember. Recall." (A) In this, again emblematical conditions that come and

341-13 Page 3

appear in the life of the entity, with money, the means as is recognizable as the medium of exchange in the physical world, we see that correlation of individuals as would come to the entity. This will happen, see? and as is seen in the figure, there is given the body, the action, the movements, without that directing portion of same, see? and in that giving, then rather the warning to the entity of the necessity of having the correct intent and purpose in the abilities and in the proper use of same, else the call would come that it would be necessary to raise large sum to care for conditions that would arise for the extravagancies of the individual. Lesson then see: Learn to use that ready in hand, for he that is faithful over a little would be faithful over much.

6. We are through for the present.
