Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [341]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, we have an acute condition here; from infection of cold and congestion, and it has involved the digestive system. And without precautions it may cause intestinal disturbance, and the flu germ is present - or that called the flu germ, NOT just the cold.

4. The variation in the form of the germ of ordinary cold and flu, as has been indicated, is of interest.

5. As we find, there is a little temperature. Very poor eliminations and drainages from the duodenum cause the regurgitation and an excess acid; thus producing nausea.

6. In the present, take as foods - when it is practical - only liquids or fruit juices.

7. First we would have, though, a high enema; salt and soda, warm; or have the room warm when this is taken. This may be done by self, see? level teaspoonful of soda, heaping teaspoonful of salt in two quarts of water, body-temperature.

8. Then begin with very small doses of Castoria; this taken half or quarter teaspoonful every twenty to thirty minutes until it is easier for this to stay upon the stomach, see?

9. Take an alkalizer then; and here we will find that Alka-Seltzer will be very well. For the analgesic here will tend to ease the inclination for the spasmodic reaction in the stomach itself. One tablet; this not taken, though, until after at least two or three of the small doses of Castoria have been taken.

10. Continue, though, with the Castoria until there is a FULL reaction through the alimentary canal, and a stirring up even of those activities of the liver.

11. The inclination for flu in the intestinal system is from congestion in the liver, especially.

12. This evening, or in the afternoon, there should be a manipulation osteopathically administered; but DO NOT get out in the weather for same! Have same done in the present environ or activity, see?

13. Take also in the evening such as Zilatone to arouse the liver. This with the activity through the taking of the Castoria should set the body aright by morning.

14. Do those.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) So far he has not been able to retain the Castoria. (A) As we have indicated, the DISTURBANCE needs first the evacuation or starting of drainages through alimentary canal, see? This will act differently when there is a thorough evacuation.
