Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [343], and those conditions that surround and disturb the better physical forces of the body.

2. There is rather, as we find, a complication of conditions; and if the body will respond to the applications that we find would be helpful and beneficial, there may be absorption and elimination set up, without the necessity of resorting to operative measures.

3. However, should the body not respond, there would BE the necessity of removing the pressures (by the growth) [abdominal tumor?], that would relieve and save the conditions; but they have reached such proportions that it would require time for preparation, as well as the producing of changes for absorption of conditions.

4. There are - or have been, as we find - lesions, formed by adhesions, in the abdominal area; and these make for those spasmodic conditions that arise, preventing the assimilations of foods; causing the inability of the blood supply to carry those resuscitating forces necessary, the extreme pains in head and those effects to the throat, eyes; and the inability of activity in the whole of the physical body at such periods. These are from the system attempting to adjust itself to the varying conditions that exist.

5. We would in the present, then, give that there be first prepared this: To 1 and 1/2 gallons of distilled water, we would add: (Stir these in, in the order given.) Wild Cherry Bark......................2 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root.....................2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root......................1 ounce, Burdock Root..........................1 ounce, Calisaya Bark.......................1/2 ounce, Prickly Ash Bark......................1 ounce,

Podophyllum, (or powdered Mandrake Root).....................1 grain, Buchu Leaves..........................1 dram, Elder Flower..........................2 ounces. Reduce by slow boiling to 1 quart. This may be reduced, of course, to a lower quantity and then water added to make the quart, see - just so it is well DRAINED from the herbs. Then add 2 drams Balsam of Tolu (cut in 3 ounces pure grain alcohol, as a preservative).

6. The dose of this would be a teaspoonful 4 times each day, before meals and at bedtime.

7. When the pains are excruciating in the head, well that - along the region of the cervical area (from the base of the brain to a point just between the shoulder blades) - there be applied Epsom Salts packs, saturated solution, as hot as the body can bear same.

8. Well, too, at the same time, that there be applied the same applications (Epsom Salts packs), when the pain is severe, across the lumbar and sacral area (over the hips and just to the small of the back, or across the kidney area - see? that comes to the 2nd and 3rd rib, see; from the base of the spine to the 2nd and 3rd rib area).

9. It would be well also that each evening there be applied the electrically driven vibrator, using the cup or sponge, over the whole cerebrospinal system; behind the head and eyes, over the arms, down the lower limbs, over the whole body - but PARTICULARLY over the cervical, dorsal and lumbar area - see? It would be given for ten to fifteen minutes each evening.

10. In a period of three to ten days we should see the decided change for the better.

11. It would be necessary that during this whole time the body take PLENTY of water, six to eight glasses full each day.

12. When necessary it would be well that an enema be taken to relieve the pressures in the colon, and thus cleanse the body of the poisons that will be eliminated and absorbed by the properties in the compound.

13. As to the diet, we find that it would be well to adhere to this, in a manner, as an outline; which may be altered or changed, of course, to meet the emergencies or the conditions - see?

14. Mornings - citrus fruit juices OR cereals; which may be taken with milk, canned or dried milk as prepared for this purpose; these furnish the vitamins as necessary for the recuperative forces of the body.

15. Noons - preferably arrowroot, junket, gelatin or the like, or Jello and those foods of that nature. These will make for an active force WITH the active principles that are being created for absorptions in the system.

16. Evenings - not too heavy meats, but well cooked vegetables (that are not TOO greasy, for these tend to make heaviness in the circulation).

17. And in the ten days there should be seen decided changes for improvements. Then we may give further instructions, or it would be necessary for changes in the applications for the body, [343] - colored. [See 343-1, Par. R1.]

18. (Q) Of what nature is the growth, and just where is it? (A) As indicated, produced by adhesions - in the torso of the body - the pressures produce the head area disturbance, see?

19. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [303] " " File
