1. EC: We have the body here, [348]. Now, we find conditions are very fair for this body. While there are irritations at times through the gastric forces of the body, and a tendency for uncomfortableness in the intestinal system - or more in the upper part of the intestinal tract, or lower portion of duodenum - this, as we find, comes as much from worry or physical taxation as from any other causes, and tends to make for a nervous irritation, producing or bringing about those activities with the eliminating system of an excess activity, making for an increased influence in the emunctory and lymphatics of the intestinal tract. While there are no indications of ulcerations, lacerations, or such, there ARE the indications of the excess amount of that created that forms the lining or portions of the intestinal system as for peristaltic movement. This isn't well, for it makes the body tire easily - and with cold, or with any exterior exercise above excess makes for headache, heaviness in feet, tendency for filling in throat and chest, and a general achey feeling over the body. These, as we find, may be aided the best by using those properties that were once given [in 348-8], as for those of alum root, Indian turnip, Wild Ginseng, compounded with simple syrup and alcohol - or just the alum root may be carried in pocket and eaten or chewed on just occasionally. This will act as an astringent, but not as a deteriorator, of the muscular activities of the general system as related to digestion.

2. In the diet - well that the body be mindful that there are those foods taken that are as coarse or hard, that take up the absorptions of the system - see? We wouldn't change so much from these, but not too much of fats - unless they are of the vegetable oils - see? these are well. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Is there anything being omitted from diet that body should have?

348-13 Page 2

(A) No, it's just some added - that's as we have indicated.

4. (Q) Would a tonic be advisable? (A) We would not advise a tonic in the present. We would advise more care as to stop before the body gets too tired. Don't over strain self. Don't be lazy, but don't over strain self in activity - especially in getting cold feet or cold hands, or dabbling too much in water or in those things that will make for a slowing of circulation in extremities and increasing circulation in the central system.

5. (Q) Would a mild laxative be advisable occasionally? (A) Those of any of the fruits that (or vegetables) tend to make for same, is very good.

6. That is all the questions regarding this body.

7. Pie plant, figs, prunes, prune whip - these are, or would be, laxatives for this system. In the activities for the sugars as taken, use those of the beet sugars or the sacharines [saccharins] for the preparations of delicacies or of foods of that nature for the body. These would be better, see? We are through with this reading.
