Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here, [348]; this we have had before.

2. There are some changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. There are some acute specific conditions that have arisen in the general functionings of the body in the present. These, as we find, are the effects of poisons that accumulate in system, and instead of being eliminated through their normal channels find in the sinew and muscle, and tendons of the body, those tendencies for contraction in the form of that which may be called muscular or tendon, neurotic or neuritis condition; more of a neurotic than neuritis, for the nerves themselves IN the tendons become the more involved in this particular disturbance.

3. In the general conditions through the system (in the intestinal tract and digestive system), these show some improvements; yet there are disturbances and those conditions of which the body should be warned, or take cognizance of, and be mindful that there is not the tendency for the accumulation of those conditions that may produce such inflammation as to make adhesions, or the tendency for the accumulation, or cakes, or hardened conditions in a portion of the system, by not being absorbed in the general circulation. This, as well as the specific disturbance.

4. To meet these conditions in the present, as we find, it would be well that heat - such as from the ultra-violet light - be applied to the lumbar and sacral area, more - of course - to the left than to the central or right side. Not so high as to disturb the kidney area, but rather the sacral and the tendons in the upper portion of the femur.

5. As for the eliminations, we find that the use of properties found in Toris Compound would be helpful in producing the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal, without disturbing the equilibrium of the activity in the lymph circulation, or acting as too great a strain on the gastric forces in the duodenum and upper portion of the

system. This would be prepared half a quantity with simple syrup, half quantity with spirits frumenti; then the two combined, see? When this is compounded, be sure that half the quantity of Sarsaparilla Compound is used in one, and half in the other - see? This we would take in not as large proportions as it is ordinarily given, but about a teaspoonful two-thirds full twice each day, morning before the meal and after the evening meal - just before retiring.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) What causes the eruptions on limbs and body? (A) Poisons from the system, added to irritations from outside influences - or chigres [chiggers].

8. (Q) When the present condition has been corrected, please tell us how this body may gain its normal weight. (A) By the persistent use of those properties that will prevent the recurrent conditions in the duodenal region, duodenum or lower end of stomach; and not overeating, but eat just that that will be well assimilated - and the normal weight will return. Keep well balanced as to the diet.

9. (Q) In preparing the Toris Compound, can the corn liquor be used? (A) Not very good. It should be spirits frumenti; not spirits of corn, but spirits frumenti.

10. We are through with this reading.
