1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [349], present in this room. You will answer the questions which she will ask regarding all phases of her life.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [349] - this we have had before.

3. In considering the various phases and conditions that present themselves as problems at this time, there should be first that consideration given of those things NECESSARY for the making OF that desired to be accomplished in this experience.

4. As has been given, desire is the BEGINNING of those things whether they be mental, material or spiritual welfares of an entity's existence, or experience. Upon that that is to be builded through an entity's experience, then, necessary that the ideals of that as is to be builded, to be attained by the application of self in the direction as is DESIRED, be set in its proper relationship to the desire, as well as to the ideal. With this once set, seeking - seeking - applying, applying self - ANY condition may be builded by one, are they [if they are] will to pay the price. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Is this the proper time for me to enter the theatrical field? (A) As we find, this NEAR the proper time. There being those conditions existent wherein there is being sought that of the new blood, the new activities in the various fields, especially in the speaking line of that in the cinema or moving picture field, this - WITH the abilities, and with the activities of the body in this direction - should, within the next six to eight months, BRING the period when there would be the try, and the acceptance, and the working out of a career in this field - if THIS the desire.

6. (Q) Have I the necessary qualifications for a successful movie career? (A) Those trainings in the SPEAKING portions, or SPEAKING

349-8 Page 2

parts, are that most necessary for the developments in this direction. The activities, or the abilities in movement, expression of action, combined then with the SPEAKING portion - or the WORDS, and their syllables and ENUNCIATION - is the necessary training needed; and this, as we find, may be gained by the association WITH those connections as may be made - where small parts, and try parts, are ACTED BY ones BEING trained in this direction.

7. (Q) Should I get some experience on the stage before I make an attempt at the movies? (A) This is an aid, to be sure - especially in giving the proper key to activities in WHATEVER CHARACTER of action is to be assumed by the body in that direction. Not necessarily a great DEAL, but this gives poise, gives the proper turn without the expression of any uneasiness IN the actions of the body - see?

8. (Q) Who could be of the most help to me in getting a start in the theatrical profession? (A) Any of those who are LEGITIMATE associates of those IN, or OF, the profession. There are those that would be, or ne'er-do-wells, or desire of bringing out, or pointing out the way for those in which they have not exceeded, or succeeded, themselves - but those of ACTIVE, mature minded, these are the proper channels.

9. (Q) How can I get to those channels? (A) Through any of those who HAVE been IN, or OF, the profession.

10. (Q) Beverly Sitzgreaves? (A) This is a good channel, and an excellent aid in both poise, enunciation, association, and of the proper precautions for the Do's and the Don'ts.

11. (Q) Reginald Goode's? (A) This not as well, but in some respects would lead to an open way.

12. (Q) Can Ralph Steinberg help me get a job on the stage? (A) Well, it would be just a JOB! but RATHER had there best be the developments in and through those who are more CLOSELY, or have been more closely associated in the ACTUAL ACTIVITIES, than those that are attempting to lead INTO activities! See the difference?

13. (Q) What professional name could I adopt that would carry the best vibrations for a successful theatrical career? (A) Use those under which the body, ENTITY, gained most in that direction. [See 349-1 on 4/21/26.]

14. (Q) Which period was this? (A) In that in the Grecian-Roman period.

15. (Q) What was the name?

349-8 Page 3

(A) Read it and see!

16. (Q) Was this given as the Persian period in the life reading? (A) Given as the Grecian-Roman period! [See 349-9 on 2/2/32 indicating her name then was Belda.]

17. (Q) What type of actress should I make of myself? (A) That BEST determined in self, and THROUGH the activities in the training periods FOR such actions. This, as we find, will be not that of the highly DRAMATIC, but in THAT DIRECTION more - see?

18. (Q) What leading actress of stage or screen could I study to gain the most as to technique and personality, not with a view of copying, but of benefitting by her experience? (A) Any of those who are, or were, in that particular field that INTERESTS the body. White is the one we find nearer.

19. (Q) Alice White? (A) No. There's more Whites than Alice!

20. (Q) Pearl White? (A) Pearl White would be well, and then there's another between the two. [See 349-8 Reports, Par. R1.]

21. (Q) Who is this referred to? (A) White!

22. (Q) How can Pearl Gross help me? (A) In the aiding of the contacts as may be made in the various stages of development, as WELL as making for press reports in the activities.

23. (Q) In what way could my present employer, [257], assist me in starting a career in dramatic work? (A) As the body fits self for that of the cinema activity, the associations and connection may be made by the body [257] WITH that, of course, of others as has been referred to. Well were the body to gain some of the PERSONALITIES of Farrar [Geraldine Farrar? See 349-8, Par. R1.] in the activities, WITHOUT those of the idiosyncrasies of same. [See 349-15, Par. 17-A.]

24. (Q) Could Col. Hawkins be instrumental in helping me get a job with the Paramount Movie Co? [Col. Edward P. Hawkins?] (A) Not for some years yet!

25. (Q) What movie company would be the most receptive to my approach? (A) Warner! [Warner Brothers?]

26. (Q) Through whom could I make an approach? (A) Let's get ready for the approach first! and then we will approach through Roth!

27. (Q) Who's Roth? (A) That's Roth! [See 349-8, Par. R4.]

28. (Q) Why did [1912] of Montreal, Canada, accept my decision that we stay apart in this life? [See 1912-1 on 2/18/31.]

349-8 Page 4

(A) Ask [1912]!

29. (Q) How does he feel toward me now? (A) Ask him!

30. (Q) Should I attempt a reconciliation, or should I forget him entirely for the rest of my life? (A) This has been gone over, the conditions have been set. Choose thou!

31. (Q) I still feel the same way toward him. What shall I do to make me happy? (A) As has been given, there may be chosen the career or there may be chosen the home. Whichever one will make you happier than the other, then choose that! As has been given from the first, know the desire of the heart - know that as is the ideal - then choose and work towards that! Why ask the REST of these, if this has been chosen? We are through. Copy to Self " " File " " Ass'n
