R E A D I N G

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces; that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, known as [350].

2. In entering the present experiences, we have many an influence that has to do with the entity's experience at this time in the earthly environ; for, as the entity has experienced in the present, there has been many a longing innately, of the mental experiences of the entity, in spheres that have at times been very near to a comprehension; at others very illusive, and in a manner not comprehendable.

3. Viewed from the purely astrological influences, by those who give thought in this direction, too much accrediting of that which has been set by even those of old would only give a complimentary idea of the purposes, or why the experiences of the entity were not deferred for the present experience, or why there was not a different environ in which the entity's experiences met self - in this mental analysis of self's innate or soul development.

4. Yet these influences from sojourns, rather than from astrological positions, will be - as we find - helpful in the entity's contemplation and study of the subject (astrology), as related to an entity's development through an earth's experience.

5. For, with the sojourns in Uranus, experiences have been made in the present when material conditions, the mental positions and opportunities, were what might have been termed ideal for the entity - from earthly standards; yet suddenly these have changed, and there has been every form of obstacle in the way of the entity - following those impulses in the developing or attaining to those positions where there might be the opportunity for ideal expression,

or wholly attaining that which would even satisfy self; as well as those periods when self-satisfaction or contentment in the period did not answer to that which the entity would present to others.

6. This, we say then, from the sojourn in Uranus; what has such a sojourn to do - or how does such a sojourn deal with the attitudes, or material conditions, in an earthly experience?

7. Correct in many ways has been that which has been accredited to Uranus, in its position (as to the planetary position or aspect in souls, entities, beings, that are dealing with - or that are in the environ or influence of this solar system); that is, that it is the environ in which those periods of very good or very bad may be applied to every vicissitude that may be in human experience!

8. What, then, is the central thought or theme that alters this position of one that such an environ influences - in the material and mental positions of a soul? Just that of the atmosphere, or the feeling of occult influences?

9. What, then, has occult influence to do with material things? The manner in which the manifestations of such take form; for they are wavered more by influences that are close to activities; hence judged to be exceptional, eccentric, unreal at times - yet very distinct, very plain, at others.

10. Hence that expression as given, in regard to Uranus being the EXTREME influence.

11. With the influence from Jupiter's sojourn, there are also the abilities that have come as urges to the mental being - or the entity's development in a great expanse of opportunity, of environ, with the abilities to judge and to draw conclusions when such influences reach that place (from the mental plane, in their activity upon matter) as to be called manifestations in a material world.

12. Hence travel, associations, and a great number of acquaintances, friends, speaking public, or the like, is the natural environ for the entity - when manifested in material or earthly conditions, or things.

13. The influence from Mars, added with Jupiter and Uranus, also has made - through the experience of the entity - that position (materially and mentally) where a great deal of strife, confusion, conditions that tend to be tempestuous, have gone on ABOUT the entity, affecting the material position, the material status from an earthly viewpoint, WITHOUT being a portion of the entity's actual combativeness - or without the entity being actually a part of such.

14. It is rather hard to put these in words, as to what these signify (this aside, to be sure, and not a portion of

it), but as is understood - will be understood by the entity, from the experiences through which this particular appearance has brought to the entity.

15. Why then, might it not be asked, the difference? in that the sojourn in Mars brings to many another its association or connection with warfare or strife, either within its national scope or personal scope; and many another individual who has become (earthly called) a murderer, has had a recent sojourn in Mars! Hence, why is it given for this entity that these conditions of strife, these conditions of turmoil, have been ABOUT, or within the experience and environs of the entity, yet the entity - as it were - aside, not a PART of these disputes, yet the entity being affected in material conditions, in mental opportunities, whether as to development, as to taking a rest, or even a retardment?

16. The two great influences coming AFTER the experience, as it were, makes for a tempering or an advancement for the entity, or soul, in its experience through the earth.

17. Consider these, and gain the difference; for these are worth while considering by those who would study astrological influences, those who would understand what the experience of the soul has meant in its varied environs through its appearances in the earth, and that it may bring forward - and, most of all, what may be done about it in the present experience.

18. These, then, have made for these personalities that are manifested in the entity; some innately, some manifested in such a manner as to be seen of others - as they consider the activities of the entity:

19. One that at times would be called very straight-laced, very definite as to how everything is to be handled; very orderly, requiring that no mistakes be made in any of its associations or dealings with others - and at other periods, (when other individuals see, view or study the activities) the entity would appear to be very dilatory as to whether things are exact or not! one very apt to be forgetful in appointments, one apt to be forgetful in its associations with individuals, as to their relations and their activities; one that ever requires others to be very active, very appointive in their activities and - especially ON TIME, yet not always so with self!

20. As to the appearances, then, and their effect upon the present experience, and the reasons or causes that might be judged - as to wonderment why there was not a deferment in the appearance in the earth for this particular experience; but many will be the experiences of the entity through this

appearance in the earth (We are speaking from the earth's plane now, and those environs from the appearances in the earth, in their various periods of activity from a MATERIALIZED action of the mental being and soul called now [350].):

21. In the appearance before this, we find the entity was in that land now known as New England, or about Salem and Providence Town, during those periods when there was a great deal of dissension and persecution, and questioning, as to those who were endowed with - or experienced - those things that were (to some) very uncomely.

22. The entity then was a daughter of a minister, the name being Wenchelcer.

23. In the experience the entity thought much, studied much. While the sojourn was not counted in years of great length, the happenings about the entity, the environs of the ecclesiastical or theological terms, and the experiences that brought the attention of many to the ears or to the consciousness THROUGH the hearing, through the visioning of the entity, brought many experiences - and the entity lost faith, lost confidence (There's a great deal of difference between faith and confidence!) in those about the entity; not as to the abilities of many, yet in the present experience the entity has the ability to be helpful to many that would gain an understanding for themselves of that which IS helpful, that which IS questionable, and that which MUST be let alone. In this direction may the entity give much to others, yet the entity must ground self in an ideal that will not be broken - even as self in that experience.

24. Before this we find the entity was in that period when there were turmoils arising, during the questioning of the philosophers, when tenets were being drawn, when there were the considerations of those things that were as theories and those things that were practical experiences; during those periods when many followed the idea that this experience in the earth was ALL, and many held that this experience in the earth was only a transition period; or during those days of Plato, Aristotle, and just after that one had turned the world - as it were, or the earth world (mentally), upside down - by drinking the hemlock.

25. Then the entity, in the name Xelio, was in the Grecian and Cretan land; going then to the old lines - now Constantinople.

26. Hence in the present we find that those things pertaining to mental abilities, those things that are as theories, are of interest to the entity; and mathematics, and HIGHER mathematics (from the experience), is especially

an interesting study - and if the entity can work things out by mathematics, then it is satisfied!

27. In the experience the entity gained and lost, as Xelio; for those conditions that bespoke of theories (for excellence, counted from the earth's surroundings and its environs, was found in beauty of body and the enjoyment of the material things) seemed not to answer, as did not - in the latter portion of the entity's experience - the indulgences in the more theopathian experiences.

28. Hence the drama, the dance, especially that of the Grecian, is of particular interest to the entity; and it has often wondered why!

29. Before this we find the entity was in that land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there was the exchange of ideas between the Egyptian civilization (or Egyptian tend and thought) and the gradual acceptance of idolatrous thought in Atlantis.

30. The entity was then among those that saw both, the one in its decline and the other in its arising.

31. Then the entity was in the position or place of power, or - as would be politically termed today - among the "INS", and at that place when those of the sex were being given rather the secondary places or positions; yet the entity gained much through the experience, and much that is applicable to its experiences in the present sojourn.

32. Hence we find, to the entity, there is very little that to the entity's (what others call imagination) inner self is even startling; interesting, yes, but experiences that bespeak of degradation of the human mind, the human associations, or that that may rise to heights wherein there IS the comprehension of the oneness that comes from the whole communion with the universal, in the oneness of the Creative influences - whether this applies to that which may be used for man's (human man's) indulgences in those of conveniences, those of aids in the mental, or those of the higher mental forces' application in the experience - these appear from within as to have, at SOME period (and it's this one!), been an EXPERIENCE of the entity! And oft the entity feels, were there the abilities to give the EXPRESSIONS, it could all be explained beautifully!

33. As to the present application from the experience, as At-mecee, the entity finds that the appreciation of the abilities of the intuitive forces in the sex of which the entity is a part, is arising more and more to its place in the affairs of the world, in EVERY phase of its experience; yet to the entity - as seen in and through some of those experiences during that sojourn - this may be to many an

individual's, many a group's, undoing.

34. Before this we find the entity was in that land now called America, in that portion of same which is along the great divide, when there were the first of the gatherings - in this particular land or period - of the peoples into groups, for protection and for edification in their activities during the experience.

35. The entity then, in the name Uolu, gained and lost through the experience; for there were the self-indulgences to those things that grew to be a portion of the experience of the entity, in the associations of numbers of entities during the sojourn; yet from the experience comes much that to the entity INNATELY is seen, in the fear of what may be rightfully termed in the present other than INDIVIDUAL activity or development of a soul.

36. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, therefore, and that to which it may attain - and how:

37. First, as we have given from both the mental sojourns and the materialization in earth's experiences, there must be the finding of self; knowing its purposes and aims, as to that which HAS been attained or gained as knowledge and understanding toward - or of - the Creative influences in the experience of every soul; and not adhering to, nor taking the effect, for the cause.

38. In so doing may the entity aid many to find themselves, in being able to discriminate between that which may become a stumbling block in self, in mental and spiritual developments, and that which will continue to make for Creative influences in the experience of every soul.

39. Ready for questions.

40. (Q) What specific work should she undertake? (A) Assisting individuals in learning to discriminate between the force from without, the forces from within, and WHAT is the impelling influence in the experience - whether FROM without or from within.
