Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have those conditions that disturb the body, those surrounding influences, those that deal with the development of the physical attributes and the mental aptitudes of the body, [351].

2. Now, as we find, there are some definite conditions that disturb the better physical equilibrium of the body. These, in the TRUE sense, are not altogether pathological conditions; some are more psychological, though the effects that are produced are at times of the nature that SOME call purely physical or pathological conditions.

3. These, then, have to deal with the attitudes the body has taken to much that has been impressed during the earlier developing period of the present physical body, and the application the body is making of itself in these relations in the present.

4. This is not intended to indicate that that in which the body is physically or materially engaged is at variance, even, to the better physical or mental condition of the body; but rather that in the mental efficiencies, and the spiritual aptitudes of the body, THESE - in other moments, other periods when not engaged in that which is the physical activity, are considerably at variance to the inner feelings, the inner expressions of the body as to that it DESIRES to manifest in a mental way and manner.

5. What, then, have such conditions to do with the physical defects (as considered) that present themselves, or that manifest in the activities of the physical forces of the body? as related to those conditions seen in the auditory forces of the system; or that manifested - appearing in the form of cellular forces - in the cuticle itself, setting up a separate or distinct attitude or activity in portions of the system.

6. These expressions or manifestations in the cuticle

(hands, thumb, wrist) are PURELY psychological, yet may be dealt with from a pathological manner - as WELL as psychological manner.

7. Hence these should be as indications for the body of that which does disturb.

8. Then, as to what the body may do about these:

9. Look well into self, self's activities, self's thoughts, self's development, and consider if these are really manifesting that the body would prefer to be the full, complete activity of the body, mentally and physically. And alter or pursue according to that analysis self finds there.

10. And in seeking for aid for the analysis of the psychological effect, or psychological conditions, seek rather within self, in line with that which HAS been the tenets of the spiritual welfare of the body.

11. For, those conditions that disturb the body in the auditory forces, we find these have been produced by a form of adhesion that has come from a dry (rather than an exhuming or wet) catarrh, which came from atmospheric pressures and conditions in an experience of the body. The very NATURE of the condition has made for a slacking up, or a falling of the Eustachian tube. Hence has, in the present, taken that form of manifestation wherein there are periods when there's a good deal of drumming, or buzzing in the ear, and some popping. Then, following such periods, there are those when the auditory responses are deficient - nearly sixty percent, at others twenty percent, at others fifteen percent.

12. In meeting the needs of these specific conditions, we would use first a massage along the Eustachian tube; that known as the finger surgery, [by an osteopathic ear specialist] to BREAK up these adhesions; and we would add a low electrical vibration to the body to assist the circulation in supplying to the nerves - and the tendons in nerves, that carry impulses and supply the nutriment for sustaining of the organs of the auditory system. This last we would add in the form of the violet ray, but with the anode that is held in hand; or it may be applied to the 3rd and 4th cervical area one day, the next the 3rd and 2nd dorsal plexus area, the next held in the right hand, the next in the left hand - then the next day applied to the cervical area, the next to the dorsal, the next in the hand and so on. These treatments we would take for periods of at least eight to ten days, see? (That's twice in each place for eight days, see? four) Then, we would have the rest period; then begin over again.

13. Following the massage of the Eustachian centers, or the

finger surgery, there should be the general neck movement and massage that is applied by the body, over these portions of the system; but more in the corrective form that is by the osteopathic adjustments and massage would be in keeping.

14. After six weeks there would be the second application, or finger surgery, removing those tendencies (for these have not made deep adherence yet, hence will not be so severe, see?).

15. For the pathological condition of those disturbances in the cuticle, make a very weak solution of hydrochloric acid C.P., about one drop to forty drops of water - or in that proportion, see? and rinse hands in same, or touch those portions that show indications.

16. But for the psychological effects, find in self that to which self has been closing self; those influences from within and from without that would make for a more in line with that the body would develop in its spiritual relations and associations - for these are well for thee, WITH thee, and will bring about much more contentment.

17. For, peace, harmony and well-being is found most in knowing that the ideal is being adhered to, and in filling that place for which one knows, feels, realizes, it has been chosen to express in its daily activities.

18. Ready for questions.

19. Do these, as we have given, and we will find the corrections, PREVENTING the deafness from increasing - but being relieved; and we will find that those abrasions, those attempts of the body - or cells in their activity - to separate, break up and produce blemishes on the body, will be corrected and kept in cooperative influences.

20. (Q) How often should this be applied? on the hands, or for hands? (A) About three days, for a few minutes; then rest three or four days in succession, before applying it again. Then use it another period, and they'll disappear - if the MIND is kept right, and it is known by the body that they are leaving - for they will!

21. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) She's a fine dietician; let her follow what she knows! That's part of her labors, part of her work - the part she's been leaving out, too!

22. That is all.

23. Much might be given respecting the abilities of this body, [351], in relation to the psychic influences and abilities the psychopathic and psycho-analytical effect the body may have upon those it contacts.

24. We are through for the present.
