Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [357]; this we have had before.
2. In some respects we find conditions show some improvement; in others we find there are still those disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body that make for disturbing factors - and act upon the body-physical as an irritation to the whole general mien of the body.
3. As we find in the present, those those things that will make for the upbuilding of the general physical forces as related to an increase in the numbers of the red and white blood cells, as to keep for an even balance in same, at the same time making for a relief in centers along the cerebrospinal system as to make for the better coordination in the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, will make for the nearer normal conditions for the body.
4. The irritations in specific centers make for the tendency for the body to be unable to rest, or to obtain rest in a normal manner; making for those irritations as to the activities in the eliminating systems of the body.
5. Then, we would add these in the present for this body, [357] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. First we would be rather mindful of the diet. Keep this in the nearer alkalin-reacting foods for the body.
7. But add in the activities of the assimilating system those things that not only make for the reduction in the present acidity but that will make for the tendency of arousing the functioning of the glands to make for replenishing to the activity within themselves, as well as for the general physical forces of the body. So, after each meal save the morning meal, we would take a very small quantity of Al-Caroid (made by the Ferment Company); a quarter teaspoonful in a glass of water, though first dissolved in a small quantity and then a whole glass of

water added before drinking.
8. Also we would have those influences or forces that may be found in the use of the Ventriculin, preferably WITHOUT the iron. This would be taken twice each day, a small quantity - or half the quantity indicated as the dose, morning and evening.
9. To correct the vibrations along the cerebrospinal system, we would use for ten minutes each evening the electrically driven vibrator - to relax the body; especially using it in the lumbar center (or 4th lumbar), the 12th dorsal center, the brachial plexus and in the 3rd and 4th cervical; to be sure, use it about the neck and the head, but in these centers specifically.
10. IMMEDIATELY after the body has been relaxed by the vibrator, apply the plain violet ray (bulb applicator) over the same centers as indicated; the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, 1st and 2nd and 3rd dorsal, 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal, and 4th lumbar - about three minutes on each center indicated, or about twenty minutes in all.
11. Do this and, as we find, we would bring the better conditions physically for this body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Please advise me as to where to make my home. (A) This would of necessity depend upon other conditions, as to what the body determines is to be the greater activity of the body; for, as we find, it would then be in keeping with the decisions as to its activity. And as much in the open as possible will be the better for the body, PROVIDED the body takes advantage of the activity.
14. (Q) Would it be better to continue on with the railroad or try and get something on the outside which is not as confining? (A) Those activities not so confining will be the greater advantage for the general physical health of the body. And, as we find, we would advise then those in the relationships that give more of the outdoor or outside activity, and the greater contact with a greater number of individuals.
15. (Q) While not at my regular work, what could I be doing to get up some interest? (A) When an individual interests itself in the activity of others - not as a meddler, not as a busybody, but rather as a CONSTRUCTIVE influence in the relationships of others - then there may be found the greater interest, and those things that make for the greater good in each individual's development.
16. (Q) Any other advice will be greatly appreciated. (A) In considering those things given as related to the activities of the body, at first much of this might present

itself as being rather indefinite, unconstructive, unless there are decisions made on the part of self as to that TO which it, the body, desires to express or manifest itself in its activities. But decisions once taken as to the general health, for the general welfare, for the good that may be accomplished by the endeavors of the entity and body, then it will be seen that these suggestions will open - as it were - in their regular order.
17. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (GD's note: List of Alkalin-Reacting Foods, of which the principal diet should consist was enclosed with reading. The Al-Caroid was made by The American Ferment Co., Buffalo, N.Y., but could be obtained at most any drug store. Ventriculin was made by Parke, Davis, but may be obtained from Burrow, Martin or Peoples - prepared without iron. A violet ray hand machine could be borrowed or rented, if one is not available.
